We're sad to report that actor David Warner has passed away.

Warner was a veteran of stage and screen, with a career that spanned the better part of seven decades. With an instantly recognizable voice, Warner immortalized the character of Ra's al Ghul with generations of fans, as his Annie Award-nominated performance on Batman: The Animated Series was one of the most acclaimed among an ensemble that received no end of praise. He reprised the role on Superman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond, and like Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in their respective roles, Warner has become widely recognized as the definitive voice of the Demon's Head.

Lending his talents to countless projects over the years, Warner appeared in films and television series that spanned a variety of genres. Notable big screen performances include appearances in Titanic, Time After Time, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, Tom Jones, The Omen, Time Bandits, Tron, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, a different role in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Scream 2, and Mary Poppins Returns. On the small screen, Warner appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Murder She Wrote, Twin Peaks, and a number of other series, and lent his vocal talents to beloved animated series like Gargoyles, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Dinosaurs, Mighty Max, Spider-Man, Biker Mice from Mars, Men in Black: The Series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Freakazoid, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Teen Titans Go!
