Aquaman will be getting a new stealth suit in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and James Wan has shared the first image of it.
It's a holiday weekend in the U.S., but that didn't stop director James Wan from giving everyone a treat of a new Aquaman suit. In a post to his Instagram account, Wan shared an image of the classic orange and green suit as well as a new "stealth" suit. "Here’s [Jason Momoa] in the classic #Aquaman suit AND a sneak peek at his other outfit — the stealth suit," said Wan. "Atlantean tech based on cephalopod’s camouflaging ability. David Leslie Johnson and I were inspired by the 80’s “blue suit”."
If you aren't familiar with the suit that Wan is referring to, here is an image of it from the 1980s mini-series.
It was a fairly short-lived costume, so seeing it in the film will be a fun nod to that time period of the character.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is due to hit theaters on Dec. 16, 2022.
