Another batch of The Flash set photos have arrived, and this time it is giving us our first look at Ben Affleck's Batsuit and Batcycle.

The photos are from the set in Glasgow where The Flash is now shooting exteriors. We get a decent look at Ben Affleck's Batsuit and the Batcycle he will ride, but to be very clear, there is no indication or reason to believe that is Affleck in the costume.

There had been numerous rumors that we would not be seeing Affleck suit up for this film, but that idea has now definitely been shot down.

The pylons in this video are fake, so no damage was done to Glasgow.

Resetting the Batcycle.

We've also seen photos of Michael Keaton's Batmobile and Batcave, but still no images of Keaton in his Batsuit. Also now spotted yet is Ezra Miller in his new Flash suit. With filming happening on the streets of Glasgow, Scotland, fingers crossed we will see some more photos soon.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2022.

    Dang that Batcycle looks so cool and really fits the aesthetic of his Batmobile! Also is that a new Batsuit?? Can’t see much, but it’s honestly looking really awesome so far… Exciting all around! Hopefully the DCEU’s demise is not as inevitable as it feels right now and we get more Batfleck in the future…?

        It's even thicker than Batman Begins!

        Maybe it's just for the stunt suit to fit in some protection underneath, or so the guy can move a little more freely without something tightly against his head in this position while doing something dangerous, and they'll slim it down in post.

    Really not a fan of the bike at all... looks stupidly unpractical.

      I'm talking about the Bike. They're going for a more grounded approach with these newer CBMs. The fact that you can actually buy a real life Tumbler proves it is not "stupidly" unpractical. The Bat-Pod realistically didn't drive all that fast (although custom versions have) however, since it was meant to be built from parts of the Tumbler, it made sense within that world.

      Snyder's Batmobile looked pretty "practical" too. Fast but sturdy.
      But this?? This design makes absolutely no sense. It's way too big and way too long. Just imagine this, what if Batman has to do a quick U-turn? Yeah, would look ridiculous.

      EDIT: looking at the second update video that was just added to the article, it's a perfect example of my point. He can't even do a simple 90° turn with that thing.

        Like Keaton's Batmobile in Returns has a grappling hook to do a U turn, maybe they'll put some gadget in Batfleck's bike to do the same !
        Nothing's impossible in Hollywood.

        Yup. The design is crass. An elaborate hunk of junk. And there is no need to compare it to anything like Bale's Batpod. It's impractical all by itself. Looks like Bats is riding on a gun through the city. You'd think they could make the simplest improvements and not feel the extra need to embellish just because it's Batman. SMH

      To be fair the only practical one so far is Pattinson's bat cycle since it's literally an actual bike.

      It looks futuristic and edgy, like Batman’s stuff should be. Aesthetically it’s a win. Would it be super practical in real life? I’m not sure; it at least partly depends on what specific purposes it is meant for. But I think it’s rarely the case that Batman’s vehicles feature the most practical design; we are just expected to allow the aesthetic to fit by suspending disbelief a bit to give the cool designs a bit more leeway than perhaps they would have in a strictly real world… I certainly don’t think this oversteps that line much further than anything else… I’m just impressed anyone was able to come up with anything that could follow TDK’s Batcycle at all, since that was so great

          Long is Batman’s thing (not an innuendo I swear lol). The coolest Batmobiles, for instance are always super long. I also think it’s the case that if Batman were put on a regular motorcycle it wouldn’t compliment his shape quite as well; he’d look more awkward and balled up rather than cool and low riding with his cape flowing smoothly and aerodynamically behind him. The Batpod from TDK Trilogy recognized that, and this does, too, without have to recreate the same design - and this isn’t much longer than that was, either, is it? Plus I can’t help but appreciate the gritty cyberpunk vibe of this bike, and length and shape certainly contribute to that uniqueness in appearance that sets it apart from just a mundane motorcycle - looks like a knife cutting through the traffic or something…

        My favorite Batmobiles are the least practical ones, but I don't get hung up on it.

        BTAS and Burton's, for the record. :)

      It looked familiar so I did some research. It looks like it might be based on the White Knight batcycle. They look similar although this one seems to have machine guns.

      Completely agree about the bike.

      Not a fan of the stuntman's Batsuit either. Maybe they're just testing things and the suit wasn't fully complete. But it doesn't look similar to BvS or JL. It more reminds me of Nolan's TDK/TDKR if anything. Not impressed.

        All valid points but again and this is only a personal preference, I wasn't the biggest fan of the daylight 3rd act fight in TDKR. I get what Nolan was going for, i just dont think it was all that great though. I had major issues with that film overall though, to be fair.

            I kind of give it a pass, out of respect for the fact it clearly wasnt Nolan's original vision. Ledger dying threw a major spanner in the works i believe. Still there is no denying that once he was committed to doing the 3rd movie, it should have turned out better.

            TDK ends on such a high, a Batman at the peak of his career watching over Gotham. Then we find out it wasnt his peak but the end of his career, as he pretty much vanished after Harvey's death and Bruce is a boken down recluse. I could go on and on and nit pick at the plot all day. It had a great cast and some great narrative ideas but as you said, so much wasted potential.

            Yup. Well said. I dated a girl who worked production on the film. She said Nolan was mostly concerned with post for Inception and pre for Interstellar. This was his studio obligation film. He was more concerned with his new projects. Even within trilogy, he seemed to put care into the new characters so much so that recurring characters get severely downplayed or ruined by third film. And I agree, Ledger might have changed his efforts and could have meant a more satisfying finale.

            Still I've always wondered what a fourth movie would have looked like in that universe. Begins is one of my favourite origin story movies ever and TDK was a nearly flawless sequel, so i would have preferred it to end on a better note.

      Lol. I recently saw photos of him coming out of a vehicle near the set if I remember right. Doubt he’s doing motorcycle scenes, anyway, though. That’s stuntman work.

    Glad to see Batfleck will get an action scene. I wad worried he'd only appear as Bruce.
    Also seems like he gets a new Bat suit.

    Now for the most important thing, I love the Bat bike. It actually looks like something that can be used in high stress situations and something Batman would have.

    And I know I just might get crucified for having this opinion, but I really wish Batman had a bike similar to this one in the upcoming Batman film instead of a regular bike.
    Now I'm not saying they should bring back Ben or his batman.
    And I understand that the Batman in Mat Reeves film is young and in his second year.
    But still for a billionaire vigilante his batman looks like a poor guy barely getting by.
    I really wish the Batmobile and the bike in the new Batman film were a bit more aesthetically theatrical.

      I say give them a sequel or two to build his equipment. I like the scrappy early style where he's figuring it all out, feels very real and is interesting to me.

      I'm also of the mind that Batman should not very obviously appear like he's crazy rich. It detracts from the 'urban myth' status and narrows down his secret identity pretty much to the point of giving him directly away. I find it hard to suspend my disbelief when they take the tech way too far.

        Yeah this is something I’ve discussed with my friends. I always thought it was an easy explanation. Batman robs drug lords, Wayne Tech, Lex Corp tech, etc. He’s operating outside the law and is so good at solving crimes, of course he’d be a genius at getting away with crimes and hiding his vast fortune collected from robbing drug cartels and White Collar criminals. Just my thoughts on that subject.

          While not unrealistic as an obscuring of his identity, that sort of thing seems outside of Batman's sense of honor to me.

          Whether he actually does so or not, the perception people have of this would be important if Batman were really out to make a change in the world. I figure that to be the point of him making it apparent to so many friends and foes he encounters.

          That said, real people are commonly at odds with themselves and this sometimes leads to contradictions or behavioral anomalies, so who knows. It's not that it can't work - I think it's just that I don't prefer it for Batman.

            Oh yeah. You are absolutely right about his honor. This is just something that would go along with the urban myth of Batman. Like him drinking blood or being a Mob enforcer or agent of US Government. Just an explanation that could help divert attention away from rich billionaires in public light. While us readers and those characters closest to him within narrative wouldn’t believe it, if it was questioned by reporters or detectives, this could provide just one possible scenario that makes his gadgets and resources possible.

    What if thats Bale's Batman and Bat-Bike? Not Bale in the suit obviously but his version of Bruce?

    If it is Affleck's Bruce(which it probably is) its also cool to see him get a scene in the suit. I really hope this movie is not a hot mess though with all these characters and timelines.

    I want it to be a good movie but more than that i want it to be a great "Flash" movie.

    One thing to think about after seeing these photos. The money spent on a Batcycle and a new costume on Ben’s Batman, for a cameo? Either Ben will have a bigger part than expected or the news of his demise is not true and there maybe something else with his Batman down the road.
