Batman: The Long Halloween part 2 trailer has arrived

Batman: The Long Halloween - Part 1 won't be released until June, but the first Batman: The Long Halloween - Part 2 trailer has already arrived.

We don't have a release date for Batman: The Long Halloween - Part 2 yet, but it looks as though Warner Bros. Animation won't be wasting much time on concluding the storyline.

We'll have to wait a bit to see when the release date is coming, but we wouldn't be too surprised to see it just before the 2021 holidays.

Batman: The Long Halloween - Part 1 will hit digital platforms and Blu-ray on June 22, 2021. The Blu-ray combo pack with a digital code will have an SRP of $29.98.

Still looks amazing. Jensen sounds pretty great as Batman, still very different from his Jason which is a nice surprise. All the voices sound on point, and the art is freaking amazing, capturing the comic book feel perfectly. This is what Hush and TKJ should have been like.

  I'm aware, I read the comic. Thing is, it's a different medium, and it can get away with things that would look ridiculous in animation. Similarly, animation can get away with things that would look ridiculous in live action.

    It all depends if you remain consistent.
    For example, if they wanted to they could have done something like the stylized animation from Aeon Flux. (which arguably would have looked closer to the original comic with Batman and all the villains looks being exaggerated)

Unpopular opinion but i prefer it to TLH, both are great but DV for me is the better half.

  I would have to read both of them again but I do remember liking some things in DV better as well. I think I remember reading a few times that Matt Reeves also actually prefers DV.

    Its going to be interesting to see how much The Batman borrows from them, really hope the film goes hard on the Detective side.

      I'm sure it will. And it's perfect that they picked the Riddler to be the villain. I've been waiting for a cool, realistic take on the Riddler – rather than Jim Carrey – for years now, so it ticks that box, while also providing the perfect opportunity for going hard on the detective stuff, due to the nature of the character. Just hope that tape face thing going on is not gonna be his actual look 😅

      It has to, it's about time. None of the film batmen have been detectives. Burton was a maniac, Clooney and Kilmer were cheese, Bale came closest but still was lacking, while Batfleck in his prime was one upped by a younger reporter and needed a supercomputer to tell him a phrase was the name of a boat.

Is it wrong that I actually got kind of emotional watching this lol? It legit looks SO GOOD. And they seemed to have captured the atmosphere I loved so much from the comic story. This is shaping up to be the best animated DC film in a long time. Definitely was not expecting a trailer for Part Two before the first one was even released yet, though

My only concern is the animation as i'm not a fan of it at all, dead excited for the rest though and its a great cast.

Off-topic: So I’m not a fan of the Arrowverse at all. I gave up on Arrow after Season 3, but I have watched the Smallville cameo dozens of times.

Is there an onion in the room or something? Lol. I get so nostalgic when it comes to Smallville because I grew up with the show. I was 8 when it started and I graduated a year after the series finale. It’s a part of my childhood. :)
