Zack Snyder has confirmed that additional photography is underway on Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Everyone knew the photography was coming, but we didn't know exactly when Snyder would be stepping behind the camera again. Some reports indicated that photography commenced last week, but Snyder confirmed they were in some stage of progress with a photo on social media on Tuesday morning. The textless post of a photo showed a clapper used for slating the filming with an updated Justice League logo with Snyder's Stone Quarry production logo in the center.

Just how long the shoot will last is not known. We do know for sure that Ben Affleck and Ray Fisher are involved with rumors of more cast possibly appearing. It is also reported that Jared Leto will appear as the Joker, but in what capacity has not been revealed yet.

Currently, Zack Snyder's Justice League is scheduled to debut on HBO Max in the U.S. some time in 2021. Deals for other regions are still being negotiated.

I truly hope Zack has learned from his mistakes and has grown as a filmmaker.
I hope I can like what he puts out. We shall see.

JOHN CAMPEA has been cast as Earth-69 JOKER. He will make an introductory cameo in 'Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE' before having a much larger role in 'The FLASH' movie. A spin-off movie is also in the works for Campea thereafter and he will be paid over $70M each for his three appearances.
CAMPEA is set to ultimately replace LETO as the DCEU moves forward. He auditioned last month and was offered the role early this morning after SNYDER pushed for his casting to the Warner Bros. team. It is unclear if Margot Robbie will be replaced by his Asian wife, but things are looking hopefull as Warners would like more diversity in their comic book universe going forward...

All I hope is that with all the backing he has and how important he sees getting story elements and flow right, that he does not blow this monumental opportunity to have staggering success. Do all you need to do, tie all the story connections together from BVS and outdo all expectations with all the time you've had to see what people want, don't want, and what didn't work with the 1st abomination.
If he does not take time to really dissect and discern all that is needed, all that isn't, and have multiple top DC comic book minds on it to analyze the storyline to make sure there are no hiccups, I can't have any sympathy for him if this all comes out as trash. This is a unicorn type moment for a director to get back a moment like this.
And what will automatically make this greater is that he's combining all his ideas for Justice League 1 & 2 together now for this epic 4-hour epic Godfather-like film, but it still all has to work. I have no doubt it'll be better than what Whedon made, but how much more is the real question I'm looking forward to seeing answered.

I hope that the reshoots are not too noticeable, but there is no way they are worse than in the studio cut. I am excited for the movie, is gonna be epic.

      As a DC fan, I want it to be good but my brain knows the result.Expecting a good movie out of Hack Snyder at this point is just idiotic.

      The good news at least is that we're getting more much needed overall content. I just want the heroes being heroes without any attempts to turn it into Watchmen

  I mean I believe he was talking about his cut for a JL film that was 214 minutes and left w a cliffhanger ending.
  What he pitched to HBOMax, and greenlit after COVID19 turned out world upside down, was turning it into a mini series that could wrap up the entire arc with a 4 hour long mini series that incorporates the other 2 scripts and wraps up the characters arc.
  So really it was one thing (a 214 min film) that morphed into something new (240 min mini series).

    Either that, or he pitched his and Chris Terrio's ORIGINAL script for JL 1, before the studio-enforced alterations that led to its becoming the 214 cut that they actually filmed (and which itself was before the further studio-enforced alterations that led to Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns' theatrical cut)

  I'm with you there. I know people are excited and everything, but the fact is this could be another train wreck. I'm not really a big fan of Zack Snyder's take on the DC Universe but the theatrical was such a mistake that at this point all that I have is a slight hope that perhaps, just maybe this guy learned SOMETHING from the reactions to BvS. Interviews dating back to 2016 suggests that he did but we'll have to wait and see.

  Possible, but that wouldn't be my personal guess. There were rumors which have been all but confirmed at this point that Joker and Deathstroke would both be involved in the Knightmare future, so I think he's here for that. But he might be in other scenes, too. Though there are less reliable rumors that Ben Affleck may be doing his originally planned Batman solo film now as an HBO Max project, and that it is said to delve into the death of Robin, so if that is the case, then I would not expect the JL movie to do the same.

    That is exactly what I would want for Ben’s series/film. I’d prefer a series so he could do several different events. Go back and tell some great stories and Joker altercations that we missed out on over his past 20 years as Batman. I’m hoping Ana is in his ear telling him to do it. She did get him back in shape and feeling positive again. Maybe she wants to be his Catwoman.

      Be awesome if they cast a younger Batfleck and have it set in 2 time periods, so in the future Affleck has a choice of how involved he is on/off screen.

He is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it, so something might stick. He has never been a great story-telling director, so the most anyone could hope for are some good visuals. I am glad this will finally be OVER next year.
