Batwoman season 2 to add Victor Zsasz to the Rogues Gallery

September 30, 2020

Victor Zsasz is making his way to yet another version of Gotham City as the killer is added to the cast of Batwoman season 2.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Alex Morf has signed on to play Zsasz who is described as ″a charismatic, skilled hitman with high, unpredictable energy. He proudly carves tally marks onto his skin for every victim he kills."

This will be the second time Morf has made his way to Gotham City as the actor played a gang leader named Sykes in the final season of Gotham.

Zsasz has been a popular villain to make his way into live-action as of late. Anthony Carrigan played him as a hitman on Gotham, while Chris Messina played him as an associate of Black Mask in Birds of Prey.

Batwoman season 2 will see the introduction of Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder, replacing Ruby Rose as Kate Kane as the caped crusader of Gotham.

I spent most of last week making this video and if I was still making it when I heard this news, I would have added Zsasz's potential future portrayal on it too: https://youtu.be/1p33SzVowqo

Its weird how he's always portrayed as a hitman. Like its not even clever/creative anymore since literally every live-action version of him portrays him as such.
Batman Begins, Gotham, Birds of Prey & again its always the live-action incarnations, everything else portrays him accurately enough. Like he only has cameos in the Harley Quinn show & the Assault on Arkham movie but he's portrayed accurately enough, & lets not forget the Akrham games in general.
Like seriously this is so weird. Why is it always the live-action media that keeps portraying him as a hitman?
