DC FanDome virtual event officially announced for Aug. 22

The DC FanDome is official and it's coming to your home on Aug. 22.

Following rumors last week, DC officially announced its FanDome event on Tuesday. The virtual event will include all of its TV and film projects, and yes, that includes The Batman. Could this be where we see our first footage? We'll just have to wait and see. There's also promises of some involvement from The Suicide Squad, and that would almost certain to involve footage as it finished filming before the pandemic.

It sounds as though it will be a fun-filled day for DC fans no matter what you may be into. And since it's virtual, at least we know the chances of it being canceled are super low.

We can't wait to see what they have to show!

Wishlist of announcements.
The DCEU is to be reforged and relaunched to now include shows on hbo max and theatrical movies.
MoS 2 is announced for 2022.
A Batman series for HBO max starring Ben Affleck is announced.
JL 2 for 2023 is announced.
Deathstroke movie is announced with Joe Magnielo still in the role.
Swamp Thing series is to continue on Hbo Max.

There are more but i will leave it at that for now.

No way JL 2 is coming that early. Give it 10 years. You'll have a new WW & Aquaman by that time. Deathstroke might happen on HBO max but not the movies.

  I'd be okwith Deathstroke being a hbo max movie. If they get the green lantern show out at the end of 2021 or early 2022 I could definitely see there been enough time to get JL 2 out by 2023.

      No i didnt. I said I'd MoS 2 to be announced for a 22 release date and I'd love a Ben Affleck led Batman series to be announced for Hbo Max. Both would be obviously part of the DCEU.

The only thing I see having a prayer of happening is something with Joe as Deathstroke. Beyond that, Ben isn't interested in being Batman anymore, Superman and Swamp Thing are both caught up in the JJ Abrams deal (and the ST sets in NC are gone), and I can't see them trying to juggle "more integration between movies and TV" and "more creative freedom for filmmakers".

What I want revealed is the possible Teen Titans game from Rocksteady or a Teen Titans movie focusing on original comicbook version of Starfire vs Blackfire. The original hatred from the new teen titans comics she could be the second or third most popular superheroine in DC if only her fantastic original version would get a chance to shine.It's been maddening to see the comic version been forcefully change into the animated inferior version. I want them to turn her back into the impulsive quick witted no nonsense with a thirst to kill her enemies cause the tortures and rape she suffered for six years being sold to different slavers by her sister.She should start with killing intent only for the team to keep stopping keep developing her until in the third movie were she reflects on her past life and gives up trying to kill like she was taught by the warlords of Okarra.That is my dream movie I have waited for more than 23 years I have supported all superhero movies from DC to Marvel animated to live action only waiting for the real Koriand'r to appear but it's always a very different version like the animated with the lame green starbolts instead than the pulverizing red to yellow when she uses full power from the comics also she's being portrayed extremely naive in the comics she was really smart also had one stomach in the comics not 9 from the cartoon for the alien factor.The Titans tv show also a different version she didn't suffer during her childhood that's very important for her character.Her I won't be a slave ever again aggressive violence towards criminals is important for her character at the beginning of her journey from princess to warrior to slave to superhero also they need bring back her job and alter ego from the comic supermodel Kory Anders it would be cool if she has a background cameo in other DC movies were their are important magazines or billboards with her it would be a realistic cameo.It would also be great if they would use the George Perez suit since that's basically her slave suit she then uses as superhero suit it's powerful meaning to the fact that she acknowledges her past but doesn't allow it too control her also her culture love to use skimpy outfits males and females too feel the sun on their skin they worshipped the sun and the goddess X'hal that would be perfect if when she's caught off guard or angrily jump to battle she says X'hal.And I'm just touching Starfire part their is also a lot of potential with her sister an outcast of society abandoned for being born sick and that rejection of the throne make defines her hatred and sinical dark humor Komand'r had in the comics but later becomes a great queen even when she wasn't supposed her will changed the people of her planet.The other Titans have lots of potential but Koriand'r and Komand'r are the ones that been change too far from the source material and lost lots of depth they had in the 80's comics until 2010 that's when the original Starfire dissapeared from comics for ever changed into the Red Hood then 2015 version closer to the animated then Rebirth becoming basically the animated version it's been cruel for me watching being my favorite character downgrade thought the years with no hope in sight for a return to for now. She's also being killed in comics basically every week Justice League Odyssey,Green Lanterns Blackstar,Darkmultiverse Teen Titans Judas Contract,Darkmultiverse Blackest Night and also in the movie Justice League Darkseid War were in that animated universe she didn't have character development it would have been cool a third Teen Titans movie focusing on instead of limiting her screen time to basically 10 minutes in Justice League vs Teen Titans and 10 to 15 minutes in Judas Contract their are youtube videos that show her entire screen time and that's how long they last.From hurting Darkseid in The New Teen Titans vs Xmen ,attacking Wonder Woman in Teen Titans 2003 6 ,taking a full power hit from Orion Jla/Titans, taking Deathstroke alone and almost killing him The new Teen Titans 1980 10 ,being the most resistant to damage of the Outsiders 2003 23,Destroyin Brainiac ship with one hit Outsiders 2003 25,traveling 4.37 light years in short time by her own power 52 issue 41 and 51. Trying to melt her skin by burning her with acid hotter than 200° the New Teen Titans 1980 25.From all of that to dying in fan service way by Terra is anger inducing.She and Robin/Nightwing(which she help evolve into Nightwing and he help her change her murderlust)weew Titans most popular characters in The New Teen Titans in a time when Batman and Superman weren't popular and the Xmen reign comics the Titans came and saved DC from bankruptcy and potential sale to Marvel they were testing market when they made The New Teen Titans vs Xmen but these characters took on the most popular Marvel characters at the time and beat them a couple of times for the 1 spot in comics sales they saved DC then were thrown under the bus like they didn't matter with shows like Teen Titans Go and The Tween Titans humiliating version from Dc Superherogirls 2019. I'm tired of my favorite character being humiliated for no reason she could be great like she was in the original pre new 52 continuity she just need a chance to shine.Characters like Batman,Superman and Spiderman will always have a spot in movies even when superhero movies phase ends but a character unknown to most audiences like her can only be made during this time when superhero movies are most likely to succeed and studios don't consider them high risk but if she won't be adapted during the superhero phase and then she'll never appear in a movie I hope not this character saved my life years ago her ability to overcome such adversity as slavery and the destruction of her home planet along with her parents inspired me to keep going and ended my depression years ago.

  Thank you I really worked hard on that post I really wanted to express my passion for the character and DC also kinda scared of the news rumors that AT&T is planning to WB Interactive to either 2k,Activision or EA worst rumor news of the week those companies would ruin Rocksteady , Netherrealms and Monolith.

    I would hope Rocksteady have been successful enough to warrant WB keeping them on board or even releasing them as an independent studio but allowing them to use the DC properties for games. Netherrealms and Monolith are also very successful studios and i think WB are mad to sell any of them off.
