Justice League Dark: Apokolips War trailer

The Justice League Dark: Apokolips War trailer has arrived, and it's time for the supernatural Leaguers to take on the biggest evil in the DC realm: Darkseid.

The supernatural troops are being called up, and it's sure to be as weird a fight as you might expect.

Yea, definitely one of the better ones in general, and probably the best in quite some time. It had issues and didn't care for the "men suck" narrative that WW and Lois were pushing, which wasn't part of the source material, and also some other changes in general (or leaving out the comic epilogue felt like a real missed opportunity) but overall yeah, I really liked it.

  It's really sad that we basically have to expect a narrative in everything nowadays. I missed the days of MOTP where women could be good characters without some kind of message about them hating all men or making cringey digs at them.

    Yeah, this "women have to crap or beat men to look 'strong'" trope in media nowadays is so dumb and it's annoying me way more than it should. I mean, if you're going to trash all men for committing most crime, fair enough... by the same logic, why is WW completely silent about the fact that men are ALSO the ones most likely to risk their lives to protect and save others and basically make up all the roles that could be defined as the classical "hero"? The fact of the matter is that women DON'T do the saving and they DON'T do the life-threatening "hero" work. Look at any "real life heroes" compilation on YouTube and you'll quickly notice that they're ALL men, usually without a single exception. Yet the media must pretend women are as likely, capable and strong as hero roles as men, even though they aren't in real life, yet when it comes to crime and violence, then they're more than happy to use reality to justify their biased "only men do this" narrative.
