Crisis on Infinite Earths has given fans a number of fun crossovers with DC films and TV so far, but nothing shook viewers quite like this evening's surprise cameo by a member of Zack Snyder's Justice League. Ready for the spoiler? Here goes...

Crisis has been pissing me off so far, but this was great.
I don’t even watch the show, and yet I loved the cameo.
After five years I chosen to get out of my old job which transformed my everyday life... Whether you like the CW shows or not, this had to be one of the best kept secrets in TV history and even the coolest since Brandon’s Return as Superman!!

I highly doubt WB would allow the CW to actually let Ezra Miller use the JL Flash suit (much less be IN the Crossover) if he wasn't still going to be in the movies.
And as far as we know at the moment, Flash directors have come and gone, but Ezra remains on board to this date.
I’ll believe it when he’s filming Flash.
Even if not in a stand alone movie, he will undoubtedly reprise the role for Justice League 2.
There are no plans for a sequel to justice league.
The storyline will change and release date has been pushed back.
I wouldn't be on it happening at all. More likely than not, the DCEU as a shared universe is over and will eventually be rebooted. The complete failure of Justice league was a massive embarrassment to Warner Bros.
Wow. First the DC Universe Titans make a cameo appearance and now this; seems like the DC Live-action multiverse, both Film and TV wise, is getting a whole lot bigger. ^_^
Nice touch! Since Ezra Flash movie coming soon. There nothing better than many Flashes.
It gave me chills. Miller just got a lot of goodwill from all DC fans with that surprise.
So Ezra is definitely still the Flash then. And he name dropped Cyborg. Does that mean Ray Fisher is still in? Maybe he'll be in the Flash movie as they originally said.

Man, while I can't get myself to watch any arrowverse, the cameos have been fun to watch (in clips)
Well done to them for keeping this under wraps. I would have loved a Cavill Superman cameo, but this was still great. Them loving each other's suits was adorable. A cynical part of me thinks this was green screen (because it was mainly individual close ups) but even if it was, it looked great. Maybe we really will get an Ezra Miller flash movie. This scene is basically like Gustin giving his blessing.
Cavill would have demanded a lot of money for that cameo.Even Shazam had to use headless Superman.
It is not s surprise. The Crisis event from the start established that all DC movies or TV series exist in the same shared multiverse, which is much bigger than the MCU for example. That is how WB will handle future crossover in the movies too without having to do reboots of the Snyderverse.
This is real. DCEU is now DC TV, all of both of them. It’s all one. Arrowverse combined everything together. DC has done something Marvel has never done and it’s insanity. Thank you, WB/DC

So this means that the entire DC universe is all connected. The DCEU and the DCTV Universe are just part of the multiverse. That means that the DCEU can use Crisis as a way to restart their universe.
Why would they want to do something silly like that and reboot the DCEU. Long story short, they won't.
Because recreating the universe and now everything being one multiverse is why. This gives them more creative freedom

This interview was back in 2015. In it, he did say he found the tv show awesome and that him and Grant are both Flash but from parallel universes. I know it's been 5 years but it's so cool to see them both on screen together.
Back when Ezra was a charming kind of weird... now though, I don't know what happened.
I hate cameos, they are for morons with low hopes.
And for those that may not know, the open cage at the end that was labeled "GLEEK" was from the 1970's Superfriends TV show.
Haven't watched it yet, so this was spoiled for me... Oh well, it is completely unexpected, but Idk if I like the implications of this. The CW Multiverse is extremely lighthearted compared to the DCEU. Having them be "parallel universes" kind of makes the DCEU seem less grounded. Also, the Arrowverse is the Prime Earth, so that means the DCEU basically comes secondary. I know I'm overthinking it, and it really isn't a big deal, I just feel a bit weird about it. Still, I commend WB for going for it.
Thing is, Arrowverse can't be the prime earth, since the earth in the comics is the prime earth. I know it's the prime earth in film land, but given they comic universes also exist...there can't be two prime earths...
That's what I was thinking when I saw that. The Arrowverse calling itself Prime Earth seems a bit arrogant to me, like "the DCU shows, the Green Lantern movie, and everything else exists in OUR continuity". The Arrowverse is just another alternate Earth, like the DC Universe and the DCEU. It is not Prime anything.
It would be cool to address this in some way, like somehow there are multiple prime earths...a universe of multiverses...

Anyone notice the final shot of Earth 96? Brandon in Reeves suit, doing the Reeves wink as he flew off? Great tribute to the one and only Superman!!!
All this means to me is that DCEU will never be able to do an anti-monitor story because CW has already laid claim on him.
Was executed pretty damn well. No one knew that was coming, they did a great job in keeping that a secret and it makes it even more special that they didnt have to milk this reveal of this crossover to garner more attention to the airing of this episode. Well played DC
The only thing i would have done to make this a tad bit better, would have been to give ezra the longer hair and slightly different suit from the future. Would have been real fucking sick if they ran into eachother while in the speedforce and Ezra was on a mission to deliver that message to Bruce Wayne in BVS. Maybe give that scene a little nod instead of never mentioning it again. Either way, i applaud the decision to keep this under wraps and to treat the fans that have been in support this entire time.

I sort of felt that they did. They clearly established Ezra was new to the game, to the point he hadnt even considered the name ' Flash' yet. With that being the case, and him appreciating the comfort and sleek aspects of Gustin's suit, it made it sound like he has a long way to go in regards to design.

Apparently so. Im not sure what you are arguing, or why. All i was saying is they acknowledged ezra's version was lacking and seemingly attempted to explain it. Never said you should accept it, nor it was even a good choice. Just the impression i got from what they said. He wasnt the flash at all in the dceu, not by a long shot. For whatever reason it is, they chose for his version to be a late bloomer, which is just as reasonable as two mother fucking flashes from different realities meeting and talking to each other. lol But that isnt a new thing. We all complained about the flash being in a JL film without officially being the flash when it happened, well i did. To assume that he did outside the movies is a strange thought process. We are still waiting to see him become the flash. Chalk it up to the multiverse, and the fact that this dceu version isnt the we all know. That shouldnt be hard to grasp. They are ALL going to have distinguishing differences, i mean that is how you tell doppelagangers apart in the comics as well.

Bro I didn't get snippy, and for sure you can say what you like. I just made a comment that his costume is dumb and that he hasn't changed it for over 2 years is also dumb. It doesn't take 2 years to come up with a superhero moniker.
Agree to disagree on the reasonableness. multiple flashes meeting each other makes sense within the rules established by the DC metaverse. That he takes more than 2 years to come up with a name or a proper costume isn't really reasonable in the same way, and IMO, just shows him to be an extraordinarily slack 'superhero'.

You mean the multiverse theory the concept is based on where there is in fact every single version possible of a single person within infinite realities some with the the same qualities, some the opposite, and some slightly different from from each one to the next?
You dont like the choice, sure. Doesnt mean it is unreasonable. Also, you throw around the term superhero, even after acknowledging he doesnt even have a name yet. How can he be considered a 'superhero,' or even a 'slack superhero,' if he doesnt even have an established name? He isnt a hero yet, point blank. That is why he specifically pointed out the features on Gustin's suit, and Gustin was like 'well your's looks cool. ' Gustin evolved his suit over time through the battles he faced, just like the barry in the comics and in every single iteration of the character. Ezra just isnt the flash yet, merely has powers. For all we know the leaked footage we got, years ago, with iris going through a window could be a huge reason as to why he hasnt taken up a moniker yet or became an actual hero. Maybe his run in with argus when he turned in boomerang had unintended consequences or he is hiding for a reason. We just dont know. We dont know much of anything, really. The one thing we do know that is established in this scene is, in fact, Ezra is not the flash yet. He has no fucking clue as to what is to come.
Personally i would have rather they met as longer haired version barry from the future running to meet wayne in bvs, brushing past gustin in a hurry not able to stop. That would have been the ultimate call back imo.

When I say rules for the multiverse meta I am talking about general rules for all DC universes and interactions between them. The idea that everything you can imagine is a possibility, is not at all true.
The rules allow for travel between universes, so that is perfectly reasonable. Flash taking 3 years to even come up with a name, due to no external pressure or stress, goes against convention is it's hard to make an argument that it is reasonable. It's slack as fuck.
You can keep writing essays to defend it if it makes you feel better though.

I live on the west coast and was at rehearsals when the episodes aired. When I got home to watch it online, checked out Facebook first out of habit. Not even an our after Part 5 aired and I saw a screenshot of the cameo in my feed shared by a geek news site (not this one).
Surprisingly, I wasn't as upset as I normally get when seeing spoilers. And I don't know why exactly, other than when I saw Ezra, maybe I subconsciously thought, "Hell, that's pretty fricken amazing! I don't blame the internet for losing their sh-t!" LOL
I have to say tho' besides him, another amazing fanboy cameo I absolutely loved was seeing that Marv guy near the beginning of Part 5. And he was great too, playing himself and appearing at ease. What a swell honor to include the writer of the original Crisis mini-series in a featured cameo with The Flash and Supergirl.
