   Both Danny and Michelle were wonderfully crazy in this movie. I think Michelle could have played a more grounded Year One type Catwoman as well - she had the right blend of appeal, crazy and chemistry that Selina requires.

      She's still the best Catwoman in live action in my opinion, i wish we got more of her.

         Exactly. Two completely different takes on Catwoman, and they both worked, and fit the Batman movie that they were in. Pfeiffer with assist from her awesome costume, got to capture the raw sexuality and complexity of Catwoman. Hathaway got to play a more grounded and calculating Robin Hood-like thief/antihero part of Catwoman. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

   I actually prefer Returns. 89 is a cool Batman movie and then loses all logic and consistency in the final act that it becomes unwatchable (Vicky fake blowing Joker so Batman can sneak up, Batman chosing to climb the stairs for minutes when he could just grapple up, Batman being unable to do a single pull up while dangling from the cathedral etc etc). Returns doesn’t even act like it makes sense from the start, which is why I can take it better. Its not a Batman movie... its a Burton movie that just happens to feature Batman characters. Plus the wall to wall silliness is just fun to watch and the designs are even better than in 89.

   I’ve ever understood the fan appreciation for this movie. Cat-zombie and Penguin-mutant are all wrong.

   People were scared of the kinkiness more than anything because they're pervs themselves. If you didn't get the kinkiness, the movie is fine.

   I agree. Sadly this site has gone downhill in the last few years. I'm surprised this "news" was written without a typo to be honest. The amateurish switch from the pronoun "I" to the pronoun "we" in a few sentences made me laugh, though.
