I know the response to Metal was somewhat mixed here in the Batman News comics community, but I can’t imagine anyone being cold on the crazy imagery created by Greg Capullo for the series.
Diamond Select has already done a fine version of the Batman Who Laughs, and I’ll have a review of their Red Death up soon, but today is all about this ridiculously awesome armored Batman. Behold!
This one is a GameStop exclusive, which means the paint job is better than your average Gallery. It also means you aren’t likely to find it discounted on Amazon, and the starting price is $4.99 higher than the Gallery-standard $45. It’s worth it, though, as the sculpting and paint on some of those fine armor details (look at the chain mail!) is just perfect.
