Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is in production and away from sound stages. That means set photos are still rolling in!
The latest batch offers new looks at Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) in previously unseen costumes, Huntress, (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).
Harley appears to be moving out in some of those photos. Perhaps she's collected some of her things from an old hideout she shared with The Joker!

Look I LOVE Mary Elizabeth Winstead but that outift looks like the cheapest cosplay ever. It does not look like Huntress at all. Hell Arrows Huntress looked way more faithful then that.
I am dreading the first full pictures of Black Canary....

lol this reminds me of all the people saying that Flash will get a "real costume" at the end of JL, that his suit is just a prototype etc.
Justice League was completely reshot from top to bottom in 3 months. It's entirely possible that there could've been a scene where they gave him a new costume. Either way judging costumes from set photos when most of the real action shots are going to be done on a soundstage is stupid. This is like the the Shazam outrage and now with official cleaned up CGI we see that the suit is just fine.
I guarantee you there was NEVER going to be any scene in the Snyder cut that would give Flash a proper costume. Even everything Snyder posted of Flash was always just the ugly robo suit.
and come on dude, we are not talking about an actual costume that looks better in a movie. That Huntress outfit is just cheap as fuck and looks nothing like the comics. No amount of CG and editing is going to change the basic look.

I like parts of it but I never really talk much about that movie. And I definitely have problems with several things in that movie. You must confuse me with someone else.
You're complaining about the design of a costume that you don't even know is the final design for a movie that comes out in a year. I've worked on film productions. They're constantly working on the costume design and of course the costume is going to look by with someone taking pics with a camera phone from far away. This is why you should probably wait for official stills and footage to judge. Like I said people did the same thing with the Shazam and Captain Marvel suits when those set photos dropped. Also I'm not defending anything. I could give two craps if you like the design or if the design as currently constructed makes it into movie. It does make or kill my day.

Armour is fine but it looked awful in JL, he looked like a reject from that crappy Power Rangers reboot. Combined with the awful writing and characterisation for him, crappy use of his powers, no white emblem or yellow lightning and yeah for Barry's big screen debut they really fucked him up.
i see. I kind of liked it but all the wires and stuff looked pretty odd. I do kind of want them to just reboot this character though. Reboot and do Wally West instead of Barry.

How the fuck has the 90's Flash show still having the best live action suit? In the crossover over last year it really showed how poor all the other suits have been.

Which has been confirmed was originally planned, but then Zack Snyder decided to let the director of the solo Flash movie have the freedom to design the final costume instead. It’s just too bad WB can’t get anyone to make the Flash film already...

Does it really matter if the costume isnt dead on, as long as she kills it them im fine. Scarlet witch doesn't have her comic costume, either has hawk eye. Im sure that her original costume was the first thing they looked at. It probably didn't work considering she is wearing panties most of the time and her pants are exactly the same as the comic here so i dont know why your are complaining.
Everyone looks like a cosplayer off film, stop complaining about suits. The only exception is Henry Cavill who looks like actual Superman.

Judging anything from set photos is silly until there's high quality official pictures from WB PR, which we should see when the first look trailer comes at comic con.

God, do people not understand the difference between Shazam and Huntress's suits?
The reason this sucks in these photos is the design. The reason people complained about the Shazam suit (the majority of complaints I saw) was because it was too bulky and muscle suit-y ( Never bothered me personally).
No amount of color correcting and cgi is gonna make this piece of crap excuse for a suit a better design. It's literally a fucking windbreaker crop top on some leather pants. That's awful. That isn't a costume. It's street clothing
I honestly don’t get the complaints for Harley’s wardrobe. This all looks like stuff she would wear. Although so far they don’t look as easy to sell for merchandise or become as iconic as her SS costume.
Doesn't seem that much different then her SS wardrobe, i'm not a big fan of her clothing but its consistent with this version and at the very least Robbie nails the role.

Cyborg did... If you watch the montage at the end of JL, he's getting greater control of himself and looks a lot more like the comics. But I don't think the Flash was going to change; there may have been a mention of the Wayne Tech thing, but possibly just to cover in case Famuyima had wanted a different suit.
I think they're obviously going for a more street level look for Huntress; maybe she doesn't have cash for a fancy suit.

I love people who keep saying "don't judge em they'll get good costumes later". First of all, you don't know that. In fact, it's more than likely that you're wrong and this is their look. Second, we don't know the damn story. All we have to judge is this shit. It's fucking garbage. A pathetic excuse for costume work. It's 2019 Comic book accurate costumes WORK.

Because that has been the case with most of these "don't judge before it comes out". It happened with the Flash, it happened with the Joker and it's gonna happen again.
Flash was right. The plan is for his final suit to come in his solo movie, according to Snyder. Joker was right. He ended up getting the classic purple coat rather than being shirtless the whole time.

You know what i find funny? If Robbie had that look all the people on here would be saying how its awful and not Harley. Harley has never looked glamorous and she always wears trashy stuff as her casual clothing.
For real. All the complaints about how she doesn't dress sexy enough in the set photos makes me wonder if they have any familiarity with her beyond the Arkham games (where she was given a makeover with significantly more sexualized costumes).

Yeah her hotness came from the way Sorkin played her and how she was drawn, Timm always made the female characters look hot with a femme fatale look from the 30's/40's and perfect bodies and Harley was no different. The way Harley dressed beyond the Jester suit (what wouldn't be practical as main outfit in the films) was never what made her attractive. Her "sexy" costumes started with as you say the Arkham games and N52, even then all the looks are pretty trashy and something what would make you think what her profession if this was real life and you saw her.
Most people on here have no familiarity with any Batman character except from the movies and maybe games.

Gotham was established as having a Chinatown as far back as the Golden Age. It's even in the Arkham games.

I wonder how accurate Cass is in the film because in the comics she's one of the most dangerous non powered humans alive, this is a girl what can take Batman so its going to be interesting to see if they keep her skills or just ignore all that and her birth mother and father.
tbh I don't think they will ignore it. There wouldn't be much point in putting her in this movie if they didn't plan on showcasing her skills I think. Otherwise they could have just made her an original character instead

I still don't understand how she is just walking around in broad daylight. Is she not a wanted criminal? I guess its going the comic book route of Arkham Asylum's goal being to treat the criminally insane so that they may reenter society no matter what terrible things they may have done. Still, she looks like some Gotham City freak. Thats the problem with the New 52 version. The permanent white skin keeps from being able to look normal.

WB keeps jumping from one extreme to another -- from senselessly throwing millions away to cutting budget to TV levels. And all that because it has no producers who would care about DC.
I fear for Shazam. If it's really going to have the Shazam family along with the Seven Deadly Sins with a budget that low, I expect everything from their looks to CG being complete dogshit.
It’s scary how the comments here are filled with people judging their looks to decide if the movie is going to be bad or not. I will take a great story and spectacle over how someone looks. And honestly they all look fine, nothing special.

Even in a grounded Nolan Style, they still managed to give Catwoman a costume you could clearly tell was Catwoman. Who the hell look at this and says "WOW, now that's Huntress.".

well, idk about that...I think if anything its because she doesn't feel comfortable embracing some of the comic bookyness of the DC world and/or just wants a more "realistic" approach. Which is unfortunate. I am not sure if it is fair to say that she doesn't care though. I mean she clearly cares to some degree. This whole movie was her idea. She cares about the character of Harley Quinn at least. And either way, costumes are one thing. Characterization is another. Form everything I have seen and heard, Christina Hodson seems to care about the source material
Robbie cares about her career, HQ is the hottest role she's ever had. Had she cared about the source material, she would have gone with the Sirens. But then she'd have to compete with Catwoman and Ivy.
You are making an awfully big assumption tbh. How would you know what she does or doesn't like? Besides, she was pushing for this movie since before Suicide Squad even came out. So its not like this was the result of how she had been received in that movie. I mean I am sure that helped a lot, but still.
But to further the topic of people caring. I mean, they clearly have people that care. Geoff Johns, the ultimate GL guru, is writing the GL movie. And most of the directors they have gotten seem to be avid comic book fans. Reeves, Jenkins, Sandberg, Duvernay, the Flash guys, etc. James Wan clearly cared about respecting the crap out of the source material. I don't know what exactly a "producer's" role is, but I know for instance that David F Sandberg has talked a lot about how HE wanted the Shazam costume to look. Are directors usually also the producers? Sorry if I am ignorant to these things. But anyways, like I said in my comment about Marvel vs DC, I think the problem DC has been facing is mainly the writers. That and maybe just their artist driven approach that can potentially allow for certain unwanted things

Most films usually have a “targeted audience” and I don't think I'm it, which is fine I still hope it's successful. Still holding out hope Gotham City Sirens is still in the works.
I disagree. Harley's Rebirth comic series is awesome, especially her supporting cast. I have yet to see this Harley on the big screen.

Looking forward to Huntress' final suit. I like that they're hinting at the purple and I definitely like Winstead for this role. Kind of wishing she had that long Bertinelli hair for the part, but she looks similar to the character and that's the most important part for me.
There are a couple of appealing versions of the suit in comics and hopefully they'll piece up together that represents Helena really well.
