on Zack Snyder Releases Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition Poster Online in Hi-Res

To promote the ultimate edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. handed out a poster at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2016. The poster was never released in hi-res online, however, making it difficult for fans outside the convention center to appreciate.

Director Zack Snyder has come to the rescue by sharing a hi-res version of this glorious image on Vero. You can view and download the poster below.

Regardless of one's assessment of BvS, this is a terrific image of DC's Trinity. It's nice to finally see this poster in the high quality it deserves.

Love the pic, Hope people won't attack him again for "not moving on", he's sharing these on VERO for the fans and yet news sites post it and everyone's like Snyder can't move one, it's not like his attacking or stopping WB or undermining anything or forcing those who don't like him to check it out, that's why he's posting it on vero and not twitter.

    1. jrvc Avatar
      jrvc

Well, even if they don't go ahead with his ideas within the movies (although I wouldn't say everything he brought in has been discarded), there are still many fans curious about what it could've been. I, for one, love seeing him still supporting this universe and can't wait for the day (if it comes) he can give more information about his plan.

Anyway, he doesn't force anyone to follow him or clicked on his stuff, so maybe the people who don't like him should be the ones moving on and let this man be and do what he pleases him (just like anyone would do ;))

Quite the opposite: Wonder Woman 84 has just finished production, and Aquaman is about to make $1billion at the box office!!!

      1. Reverse_Flash Avatar
        Reverse_Flash

Those are Jenkins and Wan's visions.

Jenkins WW completely ignored Snyder's cynical "I walked away from mankind" WW. And Aquaman is 100% the type of movie that Snyder would consider ridiculous. Zack didn't want the traditional Aquaman suit. He didn't even want Athlanteans to talk underwater. He thought Superman and Batman arguing each other in their suits looked ridiculous. You think his vision had anything to do with an octopus playing the drums? Cool story.

Both WW and AM succeeded exactly because they took the characters in the opposite direction Snyder was taking them.

        1. NinjaGamer13 Avatar
          NinjaGamer13

Snyder helped craft WW, and it is still totally in line with that one little line in BvS based on the interpretation of it given to us in JL and the fact WW claimed to have fought thingS from other worlds before in BvS.

As for Aquaman, that was already too late in production for too much to change from when he was worldbuilding with Wan, from what I understand, and earlier on Wan too expressed views that differ from what we ended up getting regarding Aquaman’s abilities and talking underwater and such. But yeah, that’s still Wan’s vision more than anyone else, I’d say, but Wan himself said his director's cut of Aquaman did get Zack and Deborah Snyder's approval before he moved forward with it, and Zack made sure JL would fit with what Wan was doing, too.

But you’re wrong in thinking the idea of taking the characters seriously and giving them real inner conflict was a problem. It is the cornier elements of AM that are its weakest, including bongo-playing octopi.

          1. Reverse_Flash Avatar
            Reverse_Flashreplying to NinjaGamer13

You may give credit Snyder for his casting choices (although some of them were pretty bad) and introducing the characters. But as far as his vision of them, that's long gone.

Most superheros have inner conflicts. That wasn't the problem. The problem was his poor development of charcters, as well as not making them likeable to the general audience. Snyder's characters didn't just have inner conflicts, they were completely conflicted characters and thus were unbalanced.

Jenkins gave us a WW that had her inner conflicts, but was also charming, likeable, hopeful and fought for what she thought was right. Wan showed us Aquaman's inner journey from being an outcast to becoming a king.

"It is the cornier elements of AM that are its weakest"

Clearly not. Snyder's movies failed withouth them.

      2. Thanasis Avatar
        Thanasis

If you actually think that aside from the casting any of these characters Zack has anything to do with these films you're insane. His vision is dead. We thankfully won't see his stupid plan.

        1. Fréaláf Hildeson Avatar
          Fréaláf Hildeson

There is no corporate "plan" at Warner, they give creative freedom to their directors and writers unlike some other franchises. And Snyder has moved on (you should too), three movies is more than enough . But the world he helped create will definitely live on.

          1. Thanasis Avatar
            Thanasisreplying to Fréaláf Hildeson

Snyder did have a plan for his universe. And it's now gone. That's not debatable he definitely wanted to make more films to continue his shit vision. He won't be able to and that's nothing but good for the DC brand and movie universe. And no, Snyder hasn't moved on at all. He's doing nothing aside from posting shit about his past movie.

I really wish the ultimate edition was the theatrical cut, if this was the case, yes the market segment would be sliced and it would not of made 900mil but critically, it would have been better off. The difference in editing of the cuts comparatively is shocking. The pg13 version is butchered, and leaves the viewer filling in the blanks. But the ultimate cut, although somewhat drawn out, is a much more cohesive story. It fills most of the gaps in and makes sense of every scenario presented in the film. The flow of the film is increased significantly, we see the true importance of the Africa scenario. We see the reasons as to why Superman couldn't stop the bombing in DC. It's incredible the amount of key/important scenes that were cut out entirely, in the theatrical cut.

I love this film, no matter what anyone says, I acknowledge the glaring problems of the moviecbut accept them and enjoy every bit of it and always will. #Batfleck #ZACKSNYDER
