THE ELSEWORLDS CROSSOVER CONTINUES IN GOTHAM CITY WITH BATWOMAN (RUBY ROSE) — With Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) still stuck in the other’s bodies, the two get a lead on John Deegan (guest star Jeremy Davies) and head to Gotham City with Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) to figure out why their reality has changed. While there, they meet the mysterious Kate Kane (guest star Ruby Rose) who provides them with information that leads the group to Arkham Asylum. James Bamford directed the episode with teleplay by Marc Guggenheim and story by Caroline Dries (#709). Original airdate 12/10/2018.

    It does look that way. O_O Or maybe since Tom Hardy's Bane is the best version we've ever seen, now the mask's the official look for the character. (???)

    Batwoman - Supergirl crossover confirmed.

    The teaser at the end seems to show a Superman that fits Tyler Hoechlin ... or the other way around.

    Don’t know how non-fans of the Arrowverse can M/F these shows. These shows have paid homage to almost ALL DC TV shows and movies in one form or another. From Batman ‘66 to Smallville to Flash ‘90 to Nolan’s universe to Lois and Clark to the Supergirl movie to....what am I forgetting? Burton’s Batman? Reeves Superman? Even Green Lantern got a nod tonight!! I am pretty impressed on the nods/eastereggs these shows have thrown at us.

      also included, as divisive as the movie was, BvS, with John Wesley Shipp's Flash telling current Flash to get the book similar to how Ezra's Flash telling Affleck about Lois.

        What? Both iterations are "adapting" the iconic Flash page of Crisis on Infinite Earth. This didn't have anything to do with BvS.

          Yes, you're probably right. Your's is probably the more accurate homage. What I was referring to, I think, works both ways. ZS was probably inspired by Crisis on Infinite Earth while CW was probably referencing both where comic book fans and BvS fans were able to recognize both.

      They even put Mark Guggenheim's name on a cell door in Arkham Asylum. :D I thought that was pretty funny.

    Solid episode. Doing a great job of incorporating a lot of DC content and a lot of characters in their special way. Creative but still succinct. Great to see John Shipp in the Flash suit in all his intensity. No complaints. Great job and solid writing for the get-together.

    I stopped watching arrow during season 4 and the flash during season 3. I've been watching this crossover because it looked awesome and i have not been let down, these episodes have been FUN. I wish we got more batwoman in that episode, I was disappointed tbh, but I'll watch her show in a heartbeat if they make it. The fan service was amazing!
    Sadly, I've been reminded why I stopped watching. I don't mind the low budget action scenes or cgi, but the writing and acting are incredibly bad at some points. All the love drama is beyond boring, cheesy and uninteresting.
    Benoist and Gustin are great actors but Stephen Amell has not improved his acting a bit! He's the reason Olicity sucks balls. There's not chemistry there. I can't believe they are forcing that bs relationship still. He was good in the beginning because they needed an emotionless character, but damn, the character is evolved now and he's still doing the same acting. Honestly, the whole team aroow is annoying as cringy as fuck. their poor comedic delivery is enough to not watch the show ever again.
    Also, Amell looks stupid in that Flash suit. The suit itself is ugly with the thick helmet and skin tight onesie, the previpus one was amazing and the chin strap was cool.

      I recommend watching the current season of Arrow. It's really good. I can understand about the other, episodes are quite watered down for a while, but I still come back and watch.

        Yeah, my friend told me a few days ago Arrow has been awesome this season. I guess I could give it a try for this season again. I used to love the show for the first 2 season so I owe lol. Thanks!

    Its just a Easter egg. It doesnt mean anything and certainly not that Nolan movies are in this Universe

    This episode was awesome
    but
    I hate the fact that kate has to fight her way to a TV series when other characters (Example: Black Lighting, Pennyworth.....etc) just received their's without any controversy or competition.

      Black Lightning has the appeal to black people and Alfred has been on tv and movies since at least 1989 and I think that Gotham's Alfred's good reception was decisive to make an Alfred prequel. Batwoman never appeared in live television, so it's quite a risk.

    It's not YOUR Batman. You don't own the character and neither does any of us. Batman has been mentioned quite a few times already.

      Quite the opposite, actually. It was an elegant way of saying that your solicitation is unwarranted without being too rude. Why shouldn't they bring Batman in this universe? They are not even bringing Batman, it's just mentions of him, like many they've had before. Not to mention they brought Batwoman and Gotham City, so you can't have that without Batman.

        Well, watch the 1940's Batman movie. Guess what, 78 years after that crap Batman is still popular and it didn't ruin him, nothing can. So I'm gonna say this clearly so you understand: bringing Batman in this or any other show isn't going to ruin Batman, capiche? You're logic that any show ruins a character is extremely flawed.

        You already implied all that in your first post and I strongly disagreed. I'm not going to get into that anymore as it is your opinion.

        Why are you watching if you think they are so bad? If you think they are going to ruin your Batman then don't watch! Isn't this the logical decision? That's what I don't get.

    I like Batwoman, not sure about Kate Kane. It's all due to the actress. Her acting skill is still questionable and her shoulders are freakishly small.

      I think the less she tries the better will be for Kate, kind of like it was with Stephen Amell. Batwoman looks great though.
