Swamp Thing is currently filming, and some brave folks have managed to catch some photos of the action on set.

DCUSwampThingFans on Twitter managed to get some photos of Andy Bean (Alec Holland) and Crystal Reed (Abby Arcane) filming scenes. Not surprisingly, the scenes were taking place in a swamp.

As Swamp Thing fans know, Alec Holland eventually becomes the titular Swamp Thing. Without knowing how the series is structured yet, there's no way to know if this is a flashback or if the event that changes him happens a little way into the season.

Of course, the set photos we're all waiting on is to see Swamp Thing himself. It's not an easy look to pull off as the movies in the 1980s showed. Technology has advanced greatly, however, and we're anxious to see how it looks.

Swamp Thing was given a script-to-series order by DC Universe earlier this year. No word has been given as of yet as to when we can expect the series to start airing, but our guess would be mid-2019 to fall 2019 based on the fact Young Justice: Outsiders needs to air, and then, presumably, Doom Patrol.
