DC Universe Debuts Young Justice: Outsiders Trailer Ahead of Premiere

The premiere of Young Justice: Outsiders is rapidly approaching. As we head into the premiere, DC Universe has gifted us with a new trailer that gives us a good look at the long-awaited third season.

We also received some hints of what we can expect to see in the new season.

From Warner Bros. Animation, Young Justice: Outsiders features the return of the fan favorite animated series with a huge cast of DC's most iconic young super heroes - plus brand-new characters, many of whom are just discovering their unique meta-powers and special abilities. Set against the backdrop of a rich, deep world that touches all corners of the DC universe, our heroes will face the new threat of metahuman-trafficking, and an intergalactic arms race for control of these super-powered youths. Young Justice: Outsiders premieres January 4, 2019 exclusively on DC Universe.

      That vid was made by a Brazilian or Portuguese dude called Dr. Arkham... that dude use to comment here and used to use the video as an argument.
      If you put attention to how @disqus_zukDkQKRea:disqus wrote, you can figure out that English is not his language... and the video subtitles are in Portuguese so... probably he just changed the nickname or did another account.

      I'm not judging you by your birthplace or your multiple accounts... I don't care and couldn't care less. Being from Brazil and being Dr. Arkham is not a crime... what is a crime is your video.
      You put images where kind generic things happened. I can say that The Dark Knight coppied Kill Bill or The Simpsons movie because of the "eye" escene.

    BP was good. IW is questionable. Technically well done but it's not a full movie. I know it's part 1 and waiting for part 2 to complete it.

  It's not. It gathered cult followers because it was the only show in ages ostensibly aimed at big kids. But the show suffered from some odd character treatment and pacing. Quick, what can you tell me about the character of Superboy, other that he was angry all the time for no apparent reason?

    I don't know to much the character from the comics but I like the idea of an un-stoic/not-blueboyscout Superboy... for an stoic super good guy we already had Superman.
    Besides, such anger had a reason, he has a strong sensation of not belonging. He's not human but not a full kryptonian, he's not even a natural being... he's was "aged" artificially and was created in a lab from the DNA of a guy that at first didn't accept him in any way.

      It's never explored on the show. This explanation is yours. And that's how it goes for most of them - the show leaves to the viewer to explain its characters. Same with Speedy -- he is a dickwad for no reason. Robin - just full of himself. Ms Martian, nice and naive. Zatanna just there. Kid Flash kinda wants to bang Ms Martian but quickly gets over it. Artemis is also just kinda there. Aqualad is a stoic leader.

      Not really, everything I said is there... is easy to see that. I remember Conner said something about it.
      Speedy is like that at the beginning because he was a clone of the original one and was programmed to get infiltrated in the justice league facility and the big boys (the league) put a lot of "buts", that why he gets easily irritated.
      Robin is just a kid-teenager that is smarter than everyone there but can't be the leader cuz he's not mature enough; when he became adult (Nightwing) that change completely.
      Kid Flash was a jovial and easily aroused teenage that get excited with every female there... he get over it cuz shit happens and the show must go on, some real people are like that.
      Artemis and Zatanna had the purpose of being the main characters of a couple of subplots (the ones with Artemis are kind of more interesting).

      I did not see much there. I saw basic characters with little development. And let me just point out that TT lasted 5 seasons and created a wildly successful spinoff. YJ only lasted two. Neither sold toys well but TT had great ratings, and YJ not so much, so Cartoon Network had to keep jugling its airing schedule. I submit to you that Starfire must have touched more hearts than Ms. Martian.

      You didn't notice it but it's there.
      Transformers, Fast and Furious and 50 Shades of Gray are very successful franchises... more successful than the potential ones Dredd (2013) and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo that were really good movies but the folk support wasn't enough. I'm not comparing the quality of TT with those franchises, I only want to say that "successful" not always means of "good" or, like in this case, it doesn't mean "better than".
      The YJ failure was due to a bunch of dumb decisions. One of those decisions was create the show after a deal with Mattel in the attempt of create a new toy selling show... it didn't sold toys very well because kids, the Mattel's main target, didn't watched it because it was a bit complicated and took itself too seriously (TT didn't... at least not all the time).
      And by the way... regardless of the success of TT, it was cancelled too after is fifth season due to (rumor) the superiority of Bandai NAMCO toy selling rate over Mattel in that moment.

      I think popularity of a certain work of art is indicative of how well it resonates with the audience. TT seemed to have resonated better. I also believe that this tender love towards YJ is at least in part due to it being the last specimen of it's kind-- a kids show that treats viewers as grown ups. Of course, there's also Castlevania now..

      TT was good for what it was, but YJ took its story more seriously for the most part and featured a world with more depth and stronger roots to the DC Universe than TT did. I can understand liking one or the other more or less out of preference or whatever, but to outright speak negatively of YJ is just not valid

    He was pretending to not have feelings but Ms martian softened him up. He got jealous when she and Lagoonboy started dating. Also, most of his anger came from the lack of acceptance from Superman. And that he's a clone, he feels alone, he doesn't know who he is, how to become his own self and not be a weapon which is what he was intended to be. Being a clone is probably not easy

Exactly! I get needing to update some of the costumes, but the long sleeves, collar, and ponytail never looked good for WW in the first place. And I know many people didn't like ponytail Deathstroke, so change was necessary, but all they did was copy and paste the costume from Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. They also took the kid flash costume from that movie, which looked awful, but I guess they've changed it so it's slightly better. All I'm saying is if I see collared Superman or sideburns Aquaman, this season might not be redeemable.

    It was a silly move. It is well known that if American products of world interest releases first nationally and not globally, piracy will take away an important amount of "legal viewers" around the world ... but well, I heard that US developers do not care too much about the audience outside of the United States.

I'm so glad this show was brought back. I'm really curious to see if this picks up right after iInvasion. That cliffhanger was amazing.
Not a fan of some of the costumes. Specifically Tim, Bart and WW. But whatever.

This trailer just single handedly destroyed all my hype for the show. It looks like they are using the animation team who've been doing the recent animated movies instead of the old team and because of that everything looks cheap.
