    That was after WB copied Marvel by creating the DCEU. They've also been copying Marvel's tone and style with movies like Aquaman (which is said to feel just like a Marvel movie) and Shazam. You could also say SS was an answer to GotG.

      They created the most successful movie franchise ever, and they did it by working their ass off from scratch and slowly building up their characters. They turned B and C listers into billion dollar characters. What Marvel did is simply unprecendented and admirable. WB/DC tried to copy them and failed miserably.
      Don't be in denial. We've got enough people like that here. There's nothing wrong in admitting Marvel has been doing it better.

      MCU movies are very different from Donner's Superman movies. Of course Donner films were very influential to Marvel as Feige has stated, but they are not a copy by any means.

      DC is not copying Marvel they are finally giving characters the tone they deserve. If Matt Reeves's Batman movie has same tone as Marvel movies then i will accept your notion but Aquaman & Shazam are not dark characters

  It does come to mine.
  There are far worse movies that don't get near as much hate and criticism. I have yet to meet one person online who liked the movie, yet I've seen plenty of people who liked far worse movies like BvS and SS.
  I think people hate it not because it wasn't good, but because of all the drama surrounding it. The reshoots, Whedon, CGI mustache, studio meddling, Snyder getting fired, etc. It's the only movie that is absolutely hated by both Snyder fanboys and DCEU critics alike.
  In the real world it's very different though. The movie's audience reception wasn't that bad (it had better audience reception than BvS), and the people I know who watched the movie all came out happy. It's critical reception wasn't terrible either. I think it's a movie that does please the general audience. I'm not saying it's good, but the level of rejection it gets is not proportional to it's quality in the least.
  Like critic Scott Mendelson said, it's not a good movie, but it's a good time at the movies.

    I gotta say I disagree here. I mean, you're right about the fact that it wasn't polarizing like bvs. But that's because it did something far worse. See bvs will still live on infamy. It was so bad people will always argue about it for years to come. But it will live on. JL was a pure cookie cutter, unmemorable, forgettable superhero movie. No1 will remember it in a few years.

Speaking of Aquaman, I heard from a legit poster (ViewerAnon) that the movie was up there with WW. That's good news since he doesn't seem to be a hater nor a fanboy. Last year he leaked the entire plot of JL. He also said JL was getting mixed reception in test screenings. Of course fanboys like Schuyler_Finley were in denial and said he was fake, but in the end he turned out to be 100% legit.

I wish they would track the sales of this offer. My guess is that the best selling combo would be Nolan’s trilogy, followed by MOS, BvS and Watchmen. You can usually tell more from DVD sales what the public really liked more than anything else. MOS is a perfect example of that, regardless of critics, fan fare or box office the movie crushed on DVD sales and smoked WW the higher “rated”, “liked” and box office winner.
