Gotham's Day 45 Trailer Focuses on Scarecrow

The Scarecrow is taking advantage of the No Man's Land in Gotham.

The latest trailer for the final season of Gotham indicates it is following the events that happened 45 days after the bridges were blown. The last trailer indicated it was day 22, so we would imagine this trend is going to continue. We know that the season picks up eight months after the season 4 finale, so this is a cool way to let us know what happened.

One of the most interesting shots in this trailer shows us a map of Gotham and who controls which areas. It definitely looks as though everyone carved themselves off a piece of the city.

The final season of Gotham premieres on Jan. 3, 2019.

Hope they show towards the series finale a quick highlight reel of Bruce making the choice to step away from Gotham (as it is most likely in chaos from all the villains) so he can train all around the world in martial arts, the sciences/chemistry, detective work, etc. This allows for a fast forwarding into the future where he comes back to Gotham in the final episode in a Year: One style format ready to emerge as Batman. #crossingfingers

I definitely enjoy the show, but considering how accurate most of the villains look this season, it's kind of disappointing we still haven't gotten a comic-accurate Bane yet...
