If you've been waiting for SyFy's Krypton series to come to home video, you finally have a date in sight.

A Krypton season 1 boxed set has been announced and you will be able to pick it up on March 5, 2019. But what will it include? It sounds like quite a bit actually.

What if Superman never existed? I haven't had a chance to watch this series yet, but in the age of binge-watching, this may finally get me to do so.

    I’m not really interested in the show but I’m just wondering why these aliens from another planet are wearing earthling clothing such as military cargo pants and bomber jackets. I don’t know much about the show but I know enough to know that it’s quite corny to have these aliens wear such clothing lol.

The woman outfit is perfectly fine and her other ones too. It looks like you just judge the show based on one picture, while dismissing all the other great costumes they have.

        I agree with him in this case, so it's at least 2 guys.

        We have such varied cultures and fashions on earth, why would an alien species that only resembles humans externally, that have a completely different culture and history, conveniently have fashion and designs that perfectly resemble the western world in the 21st century?

        Whenever we have seen Krypton in the comics, they have never been shown to dress in conptemporary western clothes. It seems lazy to make them the costume choice.

          Ive watched the whole season of krypton, and their clothes looks futuristic/space like. Yes, they've made a few lazy decisions on clothing here and there, but nothing really major imo.

            Wait... You watched sabrina? I use to watch the older version back in the days but it was a bit corny. I saw the new version on netflix but it looks like a chick flick.

            I've become kind of a snob when it comes to content, as I get more and more into making my own content I start to notice more and more flaws with stuff I see, that I think I can do better. So I am. Working on filming my first Batman short film for next year, and working on that and other stuff instead of just watching stuff like I used to. So, I still do watch stuff, but far far less, and normally catch episodes while I'm on public transport.

            I watched Sabrina because I was curious with how blatantly they were showing Satan worshipers. It's not a chick flick, but it is for a younger audience. Same audience as Riverdale I would guess since it's made by the same team. It was entertaining enough...just too obviously for a younger audience than I could bare, I think. It wasn't bad though. Nothing like the 90s sitcom, this is a lot more serious.., not super serious still fun, just not at all a sitcom.

            Sabrina might suck, but if you like the CW shows you will probably find it OK.

            Oh, I am putting most of my budget into the suit lol. I'm currently trying to find a practical way to have white eyes that can change shape to mirror emotion, but may end up CGIing it. It won't have an opening weekend or anything, but I will certainly release it online. Hoping it is as well received as Dead End. Acting will be great...it's going to be primarily a murder mystery, not a lot of action since I think Batman is best when working as a gritty detective. Something more like Se7en but with Batman instead of Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.

            I never said that Titans wasnt superior in terms of quality, meaning better costume, acting etc which is the advantage of a greater budget. Titans is good but i think people are hyping it up because there's more of their favorite heroes in it.

            I doubt it's all due to budget, even if it was, it doesn't matter.

            And I mean, you don't need a big budget to just not have your costume design be clothes from Macy's. That same amount of money can go to fabrics and a sewing machine. Plenty of SyFy shows have had alien costumes despite smaller budgets.

            Titan's doesn't have any of my favorite characters in it. I never watched the cartoon or read the comics, and the only one I know is Robin who I'm not that crazy about. I just like the world they have built and find the storytelling to be above average. It's a breath of fresh air after the CW nonsense and the Murderverse.

            Well its technically still is the murderverse. Batman is a killer thats trying to make robin one as well. Starfire is killing people left and right, Robin is like one punch away from killing everybody he fights(if they havent bled out already lol). Dont get me wrong, i like the show and all but the only thing the show shares with comics, is the name TITANS.

            We haven't seen any evidence that Batman is a killer in this universe, though. I know the actor said he was, but until we actually see that on screen I am holding out hope. Starfire has only killed a few people, but others have said that is not out of character for her (and she won't be killing anymore), and while Robin is brutal he hasn't actually left anyone to die or killed anyone.

            We will never see Batman on screen, so we'll have to go with the words of the lead star. Starfire killing isnt the issue though, i was just giving you an example that the murderverse is pretty much alive. I know she killed in the comics and dick had to put her in check.

            We may see glimpses in flashbacks. I know there was that line in last weeks episode, but still.

            I don't think we have to go with the words of the lead star at all. Stars are often wrong with stuff like that, and for all we know that may be his personal head canon. It only matters what is shown on screen, and if it is never blatantly shown then assuming he doesn't kill doesn't contradict anything.

            I don't think you realize how serious an insult it is to accuse me of sounding like Ninja. I just threw up a little.

            I would have to rewatch the scene, but I think he stabbed him directly in the junk, which wouldn't lead to him bleeding out, as it wouldn't have hit the femoral arteries. Without context, I admit it looks like he would be letting people die, but given he has a no killing rule and has the knowledge and training to injure people like that without killing them, I'm going to assume he hasn't killed anyone. To me, it's far less blatant than Bruce murdering people in BvS (slamming that crate into that guys head, puncturing KGBeasts tank, driving through cars full of people etc).

    I went into this not expecting to enjoy or like it but in the end i ended up loving it, it had great production values and it respected Superman's history and lore in a really good way and i really liked its characters. It had some great twists and its final episode was jaw dropping, also its version of Doomsday is the best in live action and i can't wait to see what S2 will do with him.

        I actually like that he's Superman's Zod and not a past version, his speech in the final episode at the end was brilliant and Colin Salmon nailed that iconic line.

        DC animation did that movie where Damian fought Night Wing and Batman. It looked ridiculous. A little kid under 100lbs could never hurt a 200+lbs man with punch & kicks. And could never block a punch from a man.

          You know who Cass is right and what she can do? She can read and guess every move you will make before you yourself have even decided it and she knows and see's every weak point of everyone she looks at, when she meets you she's already worked out how to take you down. She's one of the most dangerous humans in DC and could be classed as the 2nd most dangerous and skilled (Shiva's No 1 as always), her speed, skill and fighting intellect are far greater then Bruce's and he himself knows he wouldn't stand a chance if they fought. Even at a young age she outclasses Bruce purely on the fact she's already worked out every move he will make before he himself has decided it, she knows every weak point of Batman and its those weak points what will be aimed for when she fights, again she's also far faster then he is.

          By the way that argument you make is as always flawed. Iko Uwais is smaller and no doubt weaker in strength to someone like The Rock or even Hugh Jackman when he's in Wolverine mode yet he would destroy them with ease without breaking a sweat, same goes for Bruce Lee he was fairly small and didn't have a Batfleck type body yet he was one of the most skilled martial artists to have ever lived who could take out 95% of anyone on the planet back in the day.

          Strength matters sure but speed, skill and endurance are more important. Granted Batman has all them but Cass greatly outclasses him in 3 of those even at a young age.

            It's not crap. It's internally consistent with the rules and universe the stories take place in. What's more, the idea of a younger opponent weighing less and taking on far larger opponents is not that ridiculous. Bruce Lee vs Mike Tyson, who you going to put money on?

            I'm not so sure. He is incredibly fast and was very powerful. There is a video of him kicking a 300lb sandbag into the air. I think he could cripple Tyson with kicks to his knees before Tyson could really do much damage.

            The thing with tyson is that he goes in for the kill from the start. He doesn't give you time to come up with a plan nor strategy, so unless bruce lee can give him one kick to the knee to take him down, i cant see him winning. Once mike gets a punch in he never stops, he could pick him up and slam him so hard against the floor. We have to understand that this is not like the movies, and that the difference in sizes gives mike the upper hand by far. Mike made the greatest fighters look like amateurs.

            I know it's not the movies. I've also done various martial arts on and off over the years and seen numerous smaller opponents overcome the size advantage of a larger opponent. Bruce Lee was incredibly fast and forceful, faster by Tyson by far and his strength was no joke. Unfortunately all we can do is speculate, we will never know for sure.

            MMA Rules lets say so here's the facts:
            Lee: about 140lb (featherweight), 5'8 (1.72cm), jeet kun do and wushu (kicks and punches), some Judo
            Tyson: let's say 240lb, (heavyweght), 5'10 (1.78cm), pure boxer.
            Tyson would have the reach and power advantage, Lee the speed and overll arsenal, maybe higher fight IQ.
            Lee would have to chop down Tyson's legs with leg kicks to avoid the counter. On the other hand, I believe Lee's defense would not be that great against a boxer. Maybe hands down, maybe up but arms extended and far from the chin. One counter from Tyson and Lee is kod. I give the clinch advantage to Tyson so Lee would have a hard time getting the takedown even though he knows judo, though he could get it. Once lee has tysons legs hurt, tyson would slow down so Lee could work on the body to tire Tyson. I believe both cardio tanks are good. If Tyson gets desperate and lunges towards Lee, then Lee could aikido him and take him down, with the Judo experience he'd look for a submission, if Lee tries ground and pond, Tyson could power through standing up. Lee would have to keep working on the legs and the fight would be stopped do to Tyson's hurt legs. No KO in that fight lol.
            So yeah... Lee LOLOL

            It would be a boring fight tbh. Lee evading him and "running" away, maintaining distance with kicks, Tyson getting frustrated. The thing with this match is that the size advantage is only applicable on weight, height difference is not that big. Lee could also be ko'd easily. One combo from Tyson, or one clean straight or hook and lee is done. I think lee wins 6 or 7 out of then. It's not that far off the advantage

            It's hardly a far-fetched concept. You're on a Batman site for crissakes. All this is is a smaller opponent being able to best larger opponents, which is only far fetched to you because you know nothing about how often that happens and how often techniques to accomplish that are taught.

            A few things:
            -Skill trumps strength and size, yes. But when you have two skilled people and the size and strength advantage from one of them is notorious, there isn't even a fight. Hence the weight classes in MMA and boxing and wrestling...
            -Bruce Lee was a grown man who weighed at least 135lb. Damian is about 100. Can't compare them
            -Silat is a flashy martial art but not very reliable in real life. The Rock knows actual wrestling, which is proven to be one of the best disciplines to know for a real life fight. A pure striker will lose 9 out of 10 times against a pure grappler. Then you factor in size and Iko has no chance against the Rock, sorry.
            So, Damian taking on two grown men equally skilled is a load of BS

            I'm not talking about Damian i'm talking about Cassandra the daughter of Shiva and David Cain and who can read and see every weak point in someone and can predict every move they make before they have even thought of it.

            As for Iko he's a master (or near) at Silat, he isn't some novice. You have seen The Raid films right? You think The Rock could handle the stuff Iko pulls off. Yeah Silat isn't reliable because its so bloody hard to learn and master, Iko though is at a higher level then someone whose only spent 5 years at it.

            By the way i laugh how no one questions Matt beating the shit out of Kingpin but have a problem where i suggest a girl can beat Batman (can and has).

            Also check out my scan i posted, right there is why strength is useless against someone whose far faster and more skilled.

            Have you actually studied any martial arts and stuff? I used to do learn it but gave up but i saw people there take out people bigger and stronger then them purely because they were faster and far more skilled then them.

            By the way i know you disregarded my Bruce Lee comment but i'm still bringing it up. The Rock is taller, most likely stronger and has wrestling skills but you seriously telling me he could take out Bruce Lee in his prime? Look we are moving away from my original statement what is Cass could take out Batfleck at the age this actress is, basically Cass is Lee and Batfleck is The Rock here with this fight what will never happen so that's my point here, due to her near supernatural ability of body reading and predicting moves, crazy speed, unrivaled fighting skill (what only Shiva and maybe David Cain surpass) and no holding back she would crush Batfleck.

            Well you don't know shit about my background and history so back off. Actually i don't know a lot of martial arts beyond basic stuff because i wasn't very good at it and lacked the patience for it, i also around the time suffered an injury what meant i had to give it up, i've since healed but i lost interest and just watch Eastern movies for my martial arts fix now.

            End of the day i wasn't the one to turn this into a debate about other people and real life. I used real life people as an example of the difference in skill and speed between Cass and Batman, what i'm saying is Cass is Bruce Lee where's Batman is The Rock in terms of difference in height, strength, speed and skill. I did mention Lee but it must of have been to the other guy and not you.

            That ability doesn't matter if you don't have the strength and weight.This is why they have weight class in fights. It is deadly to put a feather weight in with a heavy weight.

            Cassandra is faster and more deadly then Batman, she will know every weak point on his body and exploit them before Bats can even think of an opening move.

            This guy right here is heavier and far stronger then Bruce, Bruce still wins because he's far faster and a more skilled fighter. Speed trumps strength, that's why if Barry or Wally were to hit Superman at full speed he would be taking out no matter how strong he is. Bruce himself has said plenty of times she's better then him, she's taking him out before and he knows he can't win against her no matter her age.

    I watched every episode in S1 to date from a youth channel called E4 from the UK. It had an episode or two every Sunday night. The pace of the show is not bad at all. It was filmed on the same sound stage as Game of Thrones from Belfast Harbour Studios in Northern Ireland. I could say here that it could be equally strong as Gotham going into the future. It is really nice to see a prequel series on Superman on TV. The blu-ray cover art is beautiful. I can't wait for this in 2019.

    Started to watch and it was alright but not enough to hold my interest. The premise wasn't enough initially but I still gave it a shot for the Blue Boy Scout. Maybe I'll watch the final episode where they make the connection for everyone and bring Jor-El in the picture... eh, we'll see.
