Aquaman: Jason Momoa and Amber Heard grace Total Film's subscriber cover

Aquaman director James Wan has revealed the first look at the special subscriber cover of an upcoming issue of Total Film magazine.

The cover features Jason Momoa in his Aquaman street clothes, along with Amber Heard in her Mera costume. If her costume is looking more blue than green as we've seen in previous photos, Wan has an explanation for that.

"The incredible Kym Barrett designed it with iridescent properties, so the colour shifts with movements and the way the light hits it (from emerald/turquoise green to deep blue)," he explained on Twitter. "But it’s predominantly green-ish in natural light."

      I dunno, Rust has up-voted and supported some really insane and foolish stuff in the last few months and made some mind-boggling claims. I normally like him but he has days where I just assume he got home late from a 12 hour bender and can't sleep so posts some nonsense and forgets he did so when he wakes up.

    I thought it was trash, it made Snyder's stuff look like a Marvel film because of how "dark" and "edgy" it was. The whole thing felt like it was by a 13 year old from 2002 what with the terrible grudge music and violence at every turn and Starfire looking like a hooker and laughing at killing people and showing zero remorse at it. Robin may not have killed but he's a very much Red Hood when Jason doesn't kill.

    Haven’t seen the show yet, I’m waiting for the service to come to consoles, but from the pics it was pretty awful. I’m glad to hear it might not be as bad in action, though.
    As for Mera’s hair, admittedly it looks way more natural in this pic, but in the trailers it’s the fakest thing I’ve ever seen. Red hair does not look like neon crayola in real life.

      Download it friend. If I think it is worth it (and it doesn't have to be perfect, even if it is mediocre) I will buy the blu-ray to support it.
      I would pay for DCU if they gave unlimited access to all their comics and new comics, but they don't. They be fucking up.

    No, I like Jason, but after looking at the trailers, I was more interested in Mera rather than Jason. Also, I'm not a fan of aquabros personality,he should tone it down a little bit. That ooouuuu yyyaaa when he jumps outside the plane, or that yeeeee when he enters Atlantis. I feel like we're going to hear that throughout the whole movie.

Also, wasn't one eye blue and the other golden-ish in hue in Justice League? I thought that was a more interesting look for him. Made you just a little uneasy when you look at him. Like he's more than just a...freakishly huge guy who could snap you in two.
