on DC Universe shows like 'Titans' may come to Netflix for international fans

Batman News is a big website that reaches people all over the world. In fact, about 50% of all readers are outside the United States. That's why whenever I post about DC Universe, which is only going to be available in the US at launch, there are a lot of upset fans in the comments section. Well, fear not!

According to a new rumor, backed up by the reliable @DanielRPK, Warner Bros. and DC may be putting their DC Universe shows on Netflix for international fans. Netflix is available in over 190 countries, and there's probably a good chance that you're already a subscriber too. If this rumor turns out to be true, it'd be a huge win for international DC fans.

DC Universe officially launches next weekend, September 15th... aka Batman Day, so hopefully we'll have some official details soon on how international fans will be able to watch. For now, this rumor seems promising. Stay tuned to Batman News for more!

      Um, not quite. It won’t be available on Netflix in the countries where DC Universe is available.

      Because they probably want to work the kinks out with the US release. Makes more sense to use your first market, the US, as basically test dummies.

      Considering Titans is meant to the "big" show what attracts people they are doing a fucking fantastic job of putting everyone off, i actually like the look of Titans but safe to say most don't, a lot of comic book readers (what will be attracted to this service the most) think it looks bad and the casual crowd think it looks "edgy" and stupid. They aren't offering much else other then digital comics, animated films everyone has watched and a cartoon what is 20 years old and what any fan will own on DVD and buy on Blu Ray. Yes Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing are coming but not straight away so right now its pretty slim on content what will kill it.

        I know and the only reason everyone is sticking with the service is for young justice. I'll give it a chance since I am a comic book reader but if its not good I better expect more shows.

    Why not release the streaming service worldwide. Doesn't make sense for them to release a streaming service strictly for the U.S. and give the international streaming rights of its shows to Netflix. :/

    Okay, it's great that I'll be able to see Titans, Swamp Thing, and Doom Patrol on Netflix in Australia, but what I really wanted from DC Universe was access to the digital comic library.
    Netflix can't help with that.

    Do you know how long it took Netflix to go worldwide? Hulu is still not worldwide after years. These thing take times Streaming might be huge in US but it still a new things overseas where TV is alive and well.
