Spinning out of Harley Quinn #42, writer Frank Tieri and artist Mauricet will dive deeper into the Mad Maxian future that Harley Quinn found herself in with the upcoming miniseries Old Lady Harley. Debuting this October, the series will have more futuristic hijinks as well as flashbacks detailing the rift that was driven between Harley and the Joker.
Tieri describes Harley Quinn #42 as an appetizer, with Old Lady Harley serving as a main course of “fat prime rib with a fully loaded baked potato, creamed spinach with everything is covered in gravy,” and... yeah, suddenly I’m super hungry. Check out the details below.

This five-issue mini-series offers a deeper dive into why Harley left “and through flashbacks we’ll see what went on between Harley and the Joker and how it drove her into seclusion.”
After liberating New York City from her now-feral Gang of Harleys, poor Harley wants nothing more than to slip back into retirement in her coastal (and heavily guarded) paradise. But the Laughing Boys Gang has another idea—they’ll follow her to the ends of the Earth, to drag her back to their leader! It can’t actually be...him! Right?! He couldn’t still be alive could he?
