on Gal Gadot is bringing a 'Wonder Woman 1984' surprise to San Diego Comic-Con
Wonder Woman 1984

We already know that the first Aquaman trailer will premiere at San Diego Comic-Con next month, but now Deadline is reporting that Gal Gadot will be there with a Wonder Woman 1984 surprise as well.

Deadline notes that plans are still being finalized, but that Gadot will be bringing a "look" at Wonder Woman 1984 with her. The Warner Bros. presentation is Saturday, July 21st, so there will be just under two months worth of footage. Perhaps they'll be able to whip together a short teaser trailer? If it's not video footage, maybe we'll get our first look at Kristen Wiig as the villain Cheetah.

What are you expecting to see from Wonder Woman 1984 at San Diego Comic-Con next month? Let me know in the comments below.

I want Walter Hamada there and talk about the great things to come with DC. Then he introduces Zack, and says Zack is back (into the fold of the DCEU of directing and producing more DC properties. Zack comes out walks to the podium and grabs the mic and says " Thanks to the fans...I will have something real hopeful for you guys real soon. Mic Drop then walks off

Yeah if you wanna set DC on fire and destroy it, There will be a lot of Heat emitting from it that makes you warm and give you fuzzy thought. (which already has begun because of him)

Yeah. "He made two films that I didn't like, so therefore the fans should boo even though the actors praised him and even Gadot had said numerous times that he saved her acting career. But who cares? Let;s just boo the guy who tried finishing the product even after his daughter's suicide."

That was before his daughter committed suicide, and i dont see what this have to do with Gal acting career or any other actors, its about making quality movies. You guys need to separate business and personal issues.

Gadot said that she was gonna quit acting before Zack had chose her to be WW. Even Mamoa said similar stuff.

And guess what? There are films I don’t like, but I wouldn’t boo the directors like I was at a wrestling event.

You know what's the most beautiful thing about people? Its that were all different. These guys are entertainers, its part pf the business, you dont mind when people cheer right? Then you shouldn't mind when people are booing. One cannot come without the other.

People only care about gadot because shes wonder woman, and also the fact that its the only well received movie in the dceu. I remember when people were criticizing her when they casted her as wonder woman, and she was pretty forgettable in the ff movies. If she would've quit acting, nobody would've cared or noticed at the time, its just that a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon and all of a sudden, shes the most beautiful female to ever exist to some of you. I still dont see what this have anything to do with snyders movies quality.

Most people are hurt that their superheroes were turned into shit. I wont go as far as stalking the guy just to hate on him, but like i said, people react differently, especially die hard fans that wanted the dceu to flourish. Now dc is just something to hate on after Bvs.

          7. Seb Avatar
            Sebreplying to Schuyler Finley

Hmm, I'm not sure about that.
Honestly, outside of his films, what bothers me most about him is his arrogance, mostly stemming from a misplaced sense of credibility and authority. He constantly refers to himself as a huge fan, but we know that's not the case, as it's blatantly inconsistent with his prior statements and actions.
I don't necessarily have any problems with him not liking the traditional Superman for example. What bothers me is, he's not being honest about it and frankly, lies to himself and thinks he knows what's best. And when people point that out, he doubles down and makes it even worse the second time (Superman killing and then Batman killing is a great example).
I used to think that he was a pretty cool guy, but now I can't help myself but see through his facade, and honestly (and I know this sounds rude) whenever he opens his mouth, it's like he can't help himself but say some of the dumbest shit imaginable. His interviews make no sense, he's all over the place, he seems borderline illiterate.
There are plenty of reasons to criticize him outside of his work. It's his attitude and his comments. And to be honest, they deserve to be criticized.
That said, I wouldn't say people "hate" him as a human being. More like "hate" his work and can't stand what he says and does BTS.

          8. Schuyler Finley Avatar
            Schuyler Finleyreplying to Seb

Statements that he made years ago. People can change in just a few months. It’s already been said before that he’s dyslexic, and even others who’ve personally talked to him have said that he’s down to earth. You’re probably reading too much into him, cause I don’t see arrogance.

No people hate him as a human being, Seb. Just look on Twitter.

          9. Seb Avatar
            Sebreplying to Schuyler Finley

Lol, but come on... Twitter?? Everyone gets hate there.

And I don't buy the whole "I don't like mainstream heroes, they're boring because they don't kill and don't have sex... what's that you say WB? You want me to direct the new Superman? WELL OF COURSE I'M A MASSIVE FANBOY!!!!!!"
It's convenient and it's really naive to believe he's being genuine here. He has also said things after "he changed his mind" that prove he just doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
Take BvS for example. He prides himself on being this "huge fan of Batman, TDKR and Frank Miller". But then he says all the guys he worked with - who were even bigger TDKR comic book geeks than he was - wanted him to have Batman shoot KGBeast in the head during the warehouse scene. Because, and I'm quoting him here, "that's how it was in the comics". You know, despite the FACT that Batman never killed anyone during the entire novel.
Then when he's asked as to why his Batman kills so much in the film, he simply says, "well, in TDKR, upon which our Batman is based, Batman kills all the time". AGAIN, despite the FACT that he killed exactly zero people.
It's stuff like this that proves Snyder is not only a liar, but shouldn't be taken seriously whatsoever when it comes to handling these characters. He continuously showcases that he doesn't know anything about them, nor it seems, does he actually care about or respect the source material to begin with.

So sure, he seems down to Earth, but over the years, I began to notice this guy absolutely doesn't know what he's talking about (which is fine, I'm not demanding him to be knowledgeable about everything comic related. Nolan wasn't either), but what bothers me is, he constantly pretends like he does. He constantly acts like he DOES know, as if he's knowledgeable. And the way he talks about his films on Vero just reeks of arrogance on his part "Ohh, this is just me being a visionary artist showing some "intellectual" symbolism. That's just a small one". As if he's downplaying supposed obvious symbolism to pretend he's intellectually way above that. Sorry, but he can't stop himself but stroke his ego and never EVER admits he screwed up. In fact, from his posts, it's very obvious that he thinks he's made misunderstood intellectual masterpieces. Like come on...
Ayer did a piss poor job with SS. But he admitted his mistakes. He knows he should've done better. I respect him taking responsibility more than you know. I've never seen Snyder do the same.
So yes, I absolutely believe Snyder is a highly arrogant individual.

They didn't use West's death to specifically attack Snyder. Stop being so damn dramatic.
It was an added comment, but that's not to say the writer was looking for a reason to hate Snyder. Stop thinking the whole world is out to get him, it's unproductive.
Funny thing is, Whedon has received obscenely more hate and vitriol than Snyder ever has and ever will. I haven't seen a single one of you speak out against that. Fact is that most of you (not you specifically, but the pro-Snyder camp on this site) bash and hate Whedon just the same. But suddenly that's okay? Come on... You only come to his defense because you like him as a director. People are allowed to hate his work. People are allowed to make jokes about his asinine comments from the past (like the "Batman gets raped in prison" joke). Tbh, he only has himself to blame. If other people shouldn't and don't get away with saying retarded things, then why should Snyder? Why should he be immune to criticism and ridicule? You guys always act as if he doesn't deserve it. Lastly, learn to take things less seriously on the internet, dude.

A teaser like the comic con one of JL, lets hope this movie is better than the first one and is not as much of a mcu rip off

      ChrisBatman News Archive

It'd have to be a teaser trailer like the BvS teaser that never got released online. That was filming for just a little over 2 months before Comic-Con that year. The first JL trailer was based on 4 months of filming.

It's funny. When I was a little kid I know that Mermaidman was a parody ti Aquaman, but I thought Barnacle Boy was an original character and I didn't know Aqualad existed until many years later.

I think they learned their lesson with Suicide Squad. Whatever they show, it'll leak online eventually. I'd expect it to be officially released.
