With glasses on I barely recognized him, but that's Henry Cavill in the new advertising campaign for BOSS Eyewear.

He's looking very handsome for sure. I really hope next time we see his Clark he makes him appear different to Superman, he doesn't need to act like the way Reeve's did but it would be easier to buy his Clark if he didn't act exactly like Superman but with just no costume. Even if you don't like how Reeve's played Clark there's no denying that his Clark feels completely different to Superman and that people could honestly not notice that his Clark is Superman. Anyway that aside it about bloody time WB/DC announced a sequel to MoS, its been what 5 years now since his last solo film?
He just needs to act more like himself and he'll be fine. The guy is genuinely optimistic, driven, polite, and so forth. He as born to play this role it seems.
Its annoying he feels more like Superman in real life then he does in the films.

Let me see. Uh, Clark is arguing with Perry about what the press should focus on, a vigilante committing injustices towards criminals, and Perry basically telling him that his optimistic views are outdated.
Well if you ignore Clark standing up for the little guy, spouting about the American Way, and his inspirational arguments, yeah. I could definitely see why you and Seb feel like he's been misused.

None of that bothers me. I'm not sure why that's been a problem for so many to accept that BvS was the sequel to MoS and JL was the three-quel to BvS. (MoS--BvS--JL) It's obvious they connected and they went a different way in building up the DCU than what Marvel did for their universe.
It makes no sense that when they do the next Superman film for it to be a sequel of MoS. It simply needs to be a solo continuation film for Supes after Justice League, not a MoS 2. And Cavill has been plenty busy in every movie since then. Can't wait for his solo stuff and for it to be done right but it's completely understandable why he hasn't had a solo film since.

That's what i and everyone else wants a new solo Superman film, we call it MoS2 or MoS sequel because its yet to be announced and have a name, its why the MCU Spider-Man sequel is called Homecoming 2 at the moment, we know it won't be called that but due to lack of name yet we stick with the first films name and add a 2 to it.

You know that the eye glass industry is a monopoly? They charge you 10x what it costs to make.

With that jawline, I’m surprised he doesn’t do ads for razor blades. While Cavill’s version of Superman doesn’t get the best reviews, for which I blame the writers and directors, it’s clear that he stands the best chance of escaping the Superman curse. Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain, Brandon Routh, and Tom Welling never had great post-Superman careers. But Cavill has already landed major roles in Man From Uncle and Mission Impossible. If he never plays Superman again, I don’t think he’s in danger of sinking into obscurity.
5 years playing Superman, 3 movies and he still hasn't been allowed to shine. He's been overshadowed by bad writing, bad directing and bad CGI.
Henry deserves better. Can't wait to finally see him shine as Superman.
