There are only two episodes of Gotham left for Season 4 and FOX has released a brand new trailer showing off what fans can expect.

The trailer begins with a recap on how real The Joker was introduced before showing footage from the last two episodes titled "One Bad Day" and "No Man's Land". There's definitely an influence from The Killing Joke here. Instead of Gordon, it looks like The Joker kidnaps and tortures Alfred in an attempt to drive Bruce Wayne mad.

Gotham still hasn't been officially renewed for Season 5, but the producer has teased that the Season 4 finale will essentially "reboot" the show.

Gotham airs Thursday nights on FOX.

    I've stopped watching Gotham at mid-season 3, but I am kind of impressed by this Joker.

      Same, but i always liked him. He's one of the best joker I've seen.

      He's much better than what we got with Leto. Dare I say it, I like this actor better than the rest too, both in his portrayal of Jerome and Jeremiah.

        We have barely seen Jared Leto in Suicide Squad, he was there for the marketing of the movie (or a lot of his scenes were cut with reshoots). Cameron Monaghan is doing a fine imitation a previous Jokers... but he's kind of "Teenage Joker", not his fault, it's Gotham serie's fault.

    Cameron Monaghan has been simply phenomenal.
    I was not sure he could top his Jerome but his slow burning
    psychopathic Jeremiah looks like he will becoming a terrifying Joker.

        That’s pretty much part of who the Joker is. Flamboyant & dramatic. The Valeska brothers show both of these sides.

          Exactly. "Flamboyant & dramatic" defines The Joker.
          I expect Cameron to combine both over the next
          couple of episodes completing his portrait.

            If not at this time, I’m sure we’ll see it as he progresses. He definitely has the dramatic part down.

      According to Gotham's creators, there are multiple Jokers, I've watched the video and ... Jerremiah, Jerome's twin brother (lol), seems to be one of those Joker.

      Spoiler alert: Jerome died and his twin brother Jeremiah is the "real" Joker.

        for me Jerome was the best thing about Gotham. now they are essentially just making another joker... but without any personality or flair... he sounds more like the clock king from the animated series than the joker.

            completely different thing tho... Zemo doesn’t have to look intimidating because he worked in the shadows and pulling strings so to speak... and if you really want to compare apples and oranges a grown man will always look more intimidating than a baby faced teen lol

            yea. unfortunately Gotham has a habit of ruining good things. Personally I feel like they have used Bruce Wayne wayyyyy too much. I mean everyone in that universe will know who batman is when he becomes Batman lol

            They are trying some type of weird reboot at the end of this season. Not sure what it is, but maybe that will change some of the dynamics like you're mentioned. Anyhow, I like both versions of their joker, the actor playing them is just phenomenal.

    I still don't get the point of killing off Jerome to just replace him with a twin brother. I mean, he was literally just a green hair dye away from being the Joker anyways - He had the peeled back smile, the pale skin, the sunken eye sockets, the voice, the mannerisms, the laugh, etc.

    Was it just to have him do a Jack Nicholson impression instead of Heath Ledger? Or was it more like the writers' way of flipping off their audience for not accepting their first idea (which was to have Jerome's first death "inspire" a slew of Joker imitators until one of them would pop up to be the real mccoy), but still allowing for Cameron to keep playing the character since people liked him so much?

          No, I’m sayin’ that the first season started out kinda slow & more of a police procedural/monster of the week type of show. Once it got to season 2, it started to evolve & become more serialized.

    This show got better with each season, while the pitiful Flash just gets worse. If that crap fest can get renewed for its 5th season, Gotham certainly should!

      All of the CW shows have gotten worse, not just Flash. And increasingly SJW levels of preachy. At least Gotham knows what they're supposed to be and does a good job of it.

    This sinister, calculative version of the Joker is what we should have got in the DC film universe. He reminds me of Joker in The Dark Knight Returns. I can't help but wonder how epic that version would have been in a Batman movie.
