'LEGO Batman' star Will Arnett is Deathstroke in 'Teen Titans Go! To the Movies'

This weekend, Entertainment Weekly revealed that Deathstroke will be the main villain in the upcoming Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. He'll be voiced by LEGO Batman star Will Arnett, who is also a producer on the movie.

Arnett joins Nicolas Cage who will be voicing Superman, and singers Halsey and Lil Yachty who will be playing is Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. Teen Titans Go! To the Movies hits theaters on July 27th.

I never did understand why using Slade on the show itself was such a taboo. Took them 3 years to get to the movie to finally introduce him.

Nah, they've used him in the show before. Once as a gag where they hype him up just to not show the battle. And another where's he's at the end of the Island Adventure special.

thats what the live action Titans is for. The older fans. Honestly they have little reason to do away with TTG considering its one of CN's most popular shows and kids LOVE it

    eh. I know Starfire was not what we were all expecting or likely wanted, but she was the only one that really seemed a bit problematic to me. Everyone else looked fine i thought. Plus, always remember those weren't official pics. Remember how good Robin and Hawk + Dove looked?

      I thought raven looked like a dude, beast boy had green hair instead of green skin, and then you already mentioned Starfire. As I said, I'm getting an Inhumans 2.0 vibe here

  I don't mean get rid of TTG entirely. They could do both. Honestly, all I want is a solid ending to the show. A reunion movie could wrap it up nicely and tie all the loose ends.

  "kids" : Well CN probably keeps it around because of the kids (their target demographic is something like, 4-14 ? I don't remember) but there are fans older than that. I know one over 30.

    i mean generally the audience for it is young children as far as I can tell. Im not a hater of TTG but I can't say it really appeals to me much. Not like the older cartoons which sort of unintentionally appealed to a wider demographic because they were basically comics brought to life. Im pretty sure TTG was specifically designed to target younger viewers.

      It is the main target but I think there are some references and jokes that are targeted at older viewers. It's not adventure time, but some of it is funny to older people if you like absurd stuff and don't take it too seriously.

I like the Teen Titans Go show but it would be cool if they bring back the original Teen Titans back. They are bringing back Young Justice in the DC streaming service so it's possible for the original Teen Titans to be back too.

  I wish they'd do both TT and TTG. TT fans would stop complaining about TTG, and TTG would have a flurry of new jokes mocking the actual TT show

Wonder why they didn’t do something more like Slade’s design from the original show. They did for every other character, so it’s a bit odd that he looks completely different here...
Looks fairly cool, though, don’t get me wrong

BTW, we should expect them to mention LEGO Batman, personally loved that movie.

Nice!! Can't wait for this movie. I really doubt I'll get an English version in my country, though. which sucks. Might have to wait till it comes out on bluray :(
