It's April Fools' Day, which means you can't trust anyone on the internet... not even Shazam director David Sandberg.
Sandberg posted a Shazam "teaser trailer" on Twitter this morning. It started off pretty serious (I think that's the Wonder Woman score in the background), but then cut to footage from the 1970's TV series. Check it out below.
The real Shazam teaser trailer will probably be released in July at Comic-Con. For now, we have this April Fools' joke to entertain us.

I kept wondering how they did the scene with Shazam flying behind the horse (No CGI back then?) They must have had a trailer driving behind it with the stunt double strapped to it, LOL.
looked to me like the close up shots were on a fake horse and using a green screen to make it look like they were moving. then the final shot was him running beside a slow moving horse to catch her.

It would be funny if that's actual footage/previsual from the movie where he screams Shazam without anyone knowing.
That could have just been random footage of a lightning storm. It wasn’t necessarily legit either.

I remember watching this show back in the day. Billy looked to be about 25 and acted like he was 13. And him running around in a Winnebago with an old man wasn't the least bit sketchy.

After watching Ready Player One I saw the future of comic book films with the Avatar of Sorrento. All the avatars were very well designed and animated but Sorrentos avatar blew me away with the possibilities (I won't spoil it)
All I wanted was for him to rip his suit off to unviel blue tights but it didn't happen. Regardless, I watched what we are so close to having, a full CGI CBM. Kingdom Come could be one to try it on. It's not there yet but it's really close. Can't wait.

And you was right. Reddit thought that it was fake, but it was clarified that Zack was only talking about the Knightmare timeline. People were thinking that he meant that Lois was supposed to die in JL or in another film.

Was hoping for more April fools jokes and stories etc. This was clever, the wrong DC logo telegraphed the joke, but man...was hoping for something like this. Damn that show was cheesy. I saw reruns in early 80’s when I was a wee lad and they actually had saturday morning cartoons. It was like a thing. Anyone remember that DC heroes special with Hawkman and stuff? What was it called?
