Synopsis

Bullock and Gordon try to track down someone who is key in Sofia’s control over Gotham. Meanwhile, Penguin, Lee and Nygma enlist an unlikely ally as they seek revenge, and Selina asks Bruce for a favor to help rid her of her guilt over Ivy in the all-new “A Dark Knight: The Sinking Ship The Grand Applause” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, March 22 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Oh my stars...this episode was amazing! XD I just came here right after watching it, and I have to say, this was nothing short of spectacular. It was wonderful to see Ed and Oz are still running together and every fan rooting for them in the last season sorta gets their wish! Then there's what happened to Sophia...ugh...I don't hate the actress but DAMN DO I HATE THE CHARACTER! (Which means Crystal Reed's doing a heckuva job!)

Then there's Barbara...I nearly forgot about her and a certain immortal together in the past. It seems everything's wrapping up nicely with a super awesome preview of Jerome coming next week! GOTHAM continues to impress and amaze! I can't wait till next week already!

What was Barbara's deal at the end there with the glowing hand and Ra's al Ghul? I couldn't figure out what they're hinting at, but I can't wait to find out!

  Before he goaded Bruce into killing him, Ra's did something to Barbara that was reminiscent of Spock telling McCoy, "Remember..." at the end of Wrath of Khan. I think that particular chicken is coming home to roost....

  I could be wrong and I would love to proven so, but maybe the glowing was a signal telling the other assassins that she's now head of the League? What really got me was the group of ladies in the back that killed everyone...did we just get a glimpse of Lady Shiva by an chance?

The BatCat fight was awesome, and in the scene on the pier, when Penguin is telling Riddler that he trusts him, the piano in the background plays the signature bars of the Burton/Elfman Bat-theme.

Zsasz's friend (forgot his name) gets shot through the eye, doesn't die. Barbara gets shot in the head, doesn't die. Butch gets shot in the head, doesn't die. Gordon gets shot 4 times in the chest, back and side, doesn't die. Sophia gets shot in the head, doesn't die.

hmm, there seems to be a trend.

I really like the show but let's talk about Episode 15 for a hot second?!

It was ridiculous! Two major "you gotta be kidding me" moments: Gordon should've been stone cold dead after the gutshot bullet wound! In addition to that, he gets shot in the arm and back on top of it by Sophia and isn't bleeding out and done for?! C'mon! I know he's Gordon, but if that's the case, don't put him in a situation where he'd clearly be dead!

And freaking Sophia! SHE GOT SHOT RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES, by Lee IN THE
FOREHEAD! That's a wrap, right?! Noooooooooooo.... We find out when Gordon asks about her in the hospital bed that Bullock says she's in a coma?! A coma?! REALLY?! I can't even...

I've been watching from the jump and the amount of times that people resurrect or should've died are insane in the show but some of these twists are the dumbest storylines ever! Gotham or no Gotham this is insulting audience intelligence with this stupidity!

All that said, this next episode looks pretty sweet... LOL

It´s true to the comics. Sophia survived a VERY fatal bullet in TLH (this season is based on it) to return out of the blue in DV. She dies fast by Two Faces hand though and the show could give us her shaven head look due to the head injury bit if/when she comes back. Well done writers!
