'Shazam' set video shows Zachary Levi in action with a bus

Last night we got our first look at the front of Zachary Levi's costume for Shazam, and today we have the first set video which shows the hero in action.

This morning a fan on Twitter named Jeremy Lawrence said "they're filming Shazam outside my building" and shared the set video below. It appears that Shazam just saved a bus full of people, and he does a little dance afterwards to celebrate.

Shazam is doing a lot of filming in public in Toronto, so expect more content like this to get out while we wait for an official costume reveal from Warner Bros. The movie hits theaters on April 5, 2019.

Those leaks were the stepping stones in turning Suicide Squad into the pop culture event it became. This is free publicity for second tier characters that can definitely use it. Expect many more video this coming days/weeks.

  Yes they had, those “leaks” were released on a weekly basis and extensively covered by many news sites and blog. Even The Toronto news channel made several reports regarding the unusual crowd that gathered to catch a glimpse of the filming. I remember when that video of Batman on top of the Joker cars surface people went nuts. Those leaks were very calculated and were indeed the stepping stones in what would become one of the best marketing campaign of all of time.

Like how they are shooting in an actual location. Too many films just use a studio and a green screen and it can just feel like an Xbox game.

      The only CGI I didn't like in BvS was Doomsday. They filmed a lot of that movie on location in Detroit, and I didn't even know some of the background were CGI until I saw the Blu-ray extras.

        I didn't hate a lot of the cgi in BvS. It was nevertheless extremely noticeable even if I didn't particularly mind it.

    True, We are still stuck with Snyder's casting choices though. Half of the League is good but the other half sucks. I don't mind Affleck, Gal and Ray Fisher staying.

      Erza was the worst choice.Jason Momoa will probably be ok.And, I don't see mos2 happening so Henry might get replaced soon.I doubt that they will include him in Flashpoint cause it will result in story end up becoming complicated.His Shazam cameo will probably be his last appearance as Superman.Though, It is a shame.He at-least deserve one last chance for his Superman story to be told by a good director.Snyder f ucked him over.Just like, He did with Ben Affleck.

        I think Cavill is just terrible at the boy scout thing. He seems soooooo fake. I can't put it into words due to english not being my first language but god damn it I don't believe him for a second he is Superman. I think Ben is kinda ok kinda terrible but I'd give him another chance with a good director as well.
        I also can't get over Luthor...

        Kinda jealous I couldn't enjoy them. Ezra's face is super weird, let alone the take of the character. Would've loved him as Klarion. Or maybe another villains like Joker, Riddler, Brother Blood..
        Momoa in my head is PERFECT for Lobo so I am just super pissed he isn't him. Also Nikolaj Coster Waldu would've been perfect for a blonde Aquaman.

        I'm not sure I understand what "Ezra's face is super weird" this means. But I'm not sure I understand this complaint. He's got a really strong jaw. I actually really like that they went with a very young Barry. Because he added a youthful energy and joy to the relatively older Justice League. I really liked that. And I felt that the dynamic was awesome. He can still become Barry Allen. He just needs to grow into the Flash role.

        Young is fine by me but not dumb/corky/silly/annoying borderline aspergers. Maybe it's Whedon's fault I don't like him actually cause brunch was cringy, but almost every joke by him was annoying to me. Almost every scene with him closed with a joke by him. He only had serious moments with his dad.
        Hopefully the new Flash directors change that

        Actually, regardless of what these comments here say. The general audience really did enjoy Ezra Miller. I actually saw the film 3 times and most people really did like the Flash.

      the casting is fine. I will never understand how people couldnt love Aquabro so ill leave that alone, but Ezra and Cavill just need the right directors to bring out the best in them. I also think the new director duo might handle the humor aspect of this flash better

        I agree. They should have chosen an actor with a wider jawline. Or if they were going to go the comedic route, they should have gone all the way. Like someone who has a childlike and naive look. They could have chosen John Krasinski.

I like the comic book accuracy in the way he looks. Can't stand when they make bright colors dark to look edgy. Case point:

I also don't like cheesy armors, like the one The Flash wears. It's like WB/DC or the filmmakers are embarrassed about their colors. Something you don't see that much in Marvel movies.
This is probably one of the best suits in the DCEU. Still hate the muscle padding though. It looks ridiculous.

    the MoS suit was amazingly detailed. just needed more blue but I think that was due to lighting in the film. I remember seeing the MoS suit on display at WB studio tour and it looked a lot brighter. don't know if they changed it or if it was just lighting

  And about the MCU suits. To me, a lot of them aren't different enough. They all kind of look the same from a distance. I noticed that when they released those Infinity War pictures .

    They're all designed by the same guy. One knock I have on the MCU is that a lot of the suits/backdrops look cheap and uniform. Hard to tell the movies apart sometimes. I watched GOTG2 and Ragnarok back to back and they looked like the same movie.

      I like a lot of the art design in the MCU, but it does look a little samey-samey at times. I noticed when I saw Black Panther recently that some of the Wakandan architecture looks similar to stuff in Ragnarok. But that might be because they want to throwback to Jack Kirby's art? Idk.

I would say Henry Cavill filled his suit perfect for MoS and looks near perfect in MoS. Which specific suit are you referring too that is overly padded? for me, Batfleck in JL was the only one that was way too padded

This puts a smile on my face. Looks like the DCEU is finally heading in the right direction. Of course its just a clip, so I am cautious, but I am getting the feeling they are going to stick to the comics as close as possible.

Looks like a fun movie. Perhaps there’s still hope that it’s not REALLY part of the DCEU, even though they say it is, and then I could probably really enjoy it unabashedly, because I wouldn’t have to worry about integrity to the established world, which does not seem to be there

That was awesome. Loved it. He acted like a kid who was celebrating his first successful heroic act. At first he was a little shocked that he did it. Then he was like "Oh wow that was cool,hey everybody did you see what I did? Did ya? I was like whoa and the bus was like screeeeeech! and I was like ta-da!" *does happy dance*

OMG the long hooded cape looks better on paper than in live action. The short cape w/o the hood looks better on screen. (40's and 70's versions that is). I guess I am a traditionalist.
