Earlier this week, Shazam star Zachary Levi posted a photo of a Batman toy and said "look who makes a cameo in Shazam..." It turns out he was being quite literal!

Shazam was shooting at a mall in Toronto this week, and Potbelly Gamers snapped some photos of a toy store that was built for the movie. It's called "Treasure Time Toys" and inside you can see plush dolls of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even Harley Quinn. Not unlike the ones pictured above. "A huge action sequence takes place in this built toy shop for Shazam," Potbelly Gamers tweeted. "Inside looked like the old WB store. The costume looks so F'n awesome in action!"

Suicide Squad introduced the idea of Superman merchandise existing in the DCEU, so it's not crazy to think that toys of the heroes exist too. Harley Quinn is an odd one though, since she's a crazy murder who was locked up in prison. Let me know what you think of these new Shazam set photos in the comments below.

      They'll probably retcon her being a murderer in the next movies. Hopefully they retcon other things like Jimmy Olsen and Clark Kent's death...

    Maybe its just a meaningless easter egg that won't even really be noticeable in the film unless you are looking really hard.

    Are you kidding me?! The Harley Quinn character is celebrated in real life, why wouldn't she be in the DCEU?😂 Same with the Joker. If they were real people, they'd absolutely be celebrities, and generate tons of merchandise.

    Nice, spitting in the face of the canon is so fun! Shazam is living up to all of my expectations so far, it seems ...in a bad way :D Just you guys wait. I’m having a dreadful feeling I’ll be right about this movie.

    Perhaps they’ll be hard or impossible to see in the actual movie, though, we can hope, and simply act as real-life Easter eggs that have no bearing on the reality of the story.

    Those are pretty adorable toys, though, so props for that.

      its just the Harley one that bothers me. Also, what were your expectations for this movie again? That it was going to be lighthearted and fun? Like it should be? Also, it is possible this could be the product of the new "standalone movies" mentality they are supposedly adopting moving forward. Not worrying about continuity and the larger world as much. Just making movies and then some of these characters will just come together for Justice League because those are the actors who happen to be playing the parts atm. A theory at least

        I’m worried it’ll be GL all over again. Or that it’ll be completely out of the realm of what could actually be in the DCEU that has been established. Saying you’re going to ignore continuity moving forward does not suddenly make it justified to do so, just as if a murderer were to state his intention to kill someone, it would not make it okay that he does that, lol

          like GL in terms of its tone? And it can be justified. The purpose is that it gives the illusion that the films are not actually connected so maybe you aren't sure if Harley Quinn(the real life criminal) exists in the same world that Shazam is in. Its just whatever.

            Like GL in trying to be funny or Marvel-y and winding up a dud.
            That sounds fine in itself, but if this movie is meant to be taken seriously as a legitimate chapter in the DCEU’s story, it cannot fly in the face of continuity. Breaking canon, by the standards of good storytelling, should normally preclude something from being part of that canon.

      "Fun" is the future, Deal with it.Warner bros. doesn't have infinite money to keep experimenting with Snyder garbage.

      Jesus... Is this Batman / DC news, or is it Snyder-whoreshipping news?
      Not everything has to be dark and depressing. Not everything has to be nihilistic and overly self-important.
      Maybe you're not aware, but DC comics aren't all moody and dark. They range from light and funny (like Shazam) to dark (Batman).
      Doesn't mean one is better than the other. I want Batman to be a dark character, just as much as I want Shazam to be a light and funny one. That's the character. Just as it would make sense for a Batman film to be dark and serious, it makes perfect sense for this movie to be funny and lighthearted.
      Lighten up. And yeah, read a comic for once in your life. Perhaps then you'll realize Snyder's vision of the DCU is not at all in lign with the general comic book lore.
