Gal Gadot will work with Alicia Vikander's 'Tomb Raider' trainer for 'Wonder Woman 2'

USA Today did a piece on how Alicia Vikander gained 12 pounds of muscle for her role as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider movie. Included in that story was some news about Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman 2 as well.

Vikander worked with health and wellness trainer Magnus Lygdback, and his next task will be getting Gadot back into Wonder Woman shape for the sequel which is expected to start shooting later this summer. Gadot previously worked with Zack Snyder's long time trainer Mark Twight.

Expect Gadot to share some photos on social media as she prepares to get back into superhero shape. Wonder Woman 2 will begin production later this year for a November 1, 2019 release.

Gal already started to train. If you see pictures of her in November and then in December, her arms are getting bigger. I hope she has more muscle definition for Wonder Woman 2.
I don't need a weightlifter but some muscles will be nice for Diana 😊

I don't really need her to bulk up tbh. She's tall and gorgeous, and that's key. The rest can be CGI'd for all I care.

I thought Gal's look in Wonder Woman was ideal, what I would call feminine athleticism.
Looking more like a ripped gym rat is not something I would want to see. We shall see.

      MoS is the best DCEU Movie yet by a mile. I loved that movie and for me it's on the same level with TDK and Spiderman 2

      I'd have to say MoS is better than both because I didn't like Christian Bale's Batman. And Spider-Man 2 was great, but it wasn't spectacular (pun intended).

      i just don't understand how the people who liked Snyder's previous movies can despise JL so much all because a bit of a change in tone. Thats really what it all seems to boil down to as far as I can tell. I enjoy all the movies except Suicide Squad. If you have only seen Justice League once, try watching it a couple more times. It might grow on you. I was on the fence when I first saw it too but I have grown to love it honestly

      I saw JL 4 times. I’ll see it again next week. It’s easily my least favorite DCEU movie. I enjoyed SS more.

  Yep. The definition and the shadows provided that perfect moment when she motioned with her arms. Look at that waist. Why anyone on here is remotely trippin off her physique and what she needs to add on is beyond me. If we get a little more muscle, meatier legs, more definition, good for her. But don't be so quick to forget how fantastic she looked in WW from head to toe. She's going to be ready to rock just as she was in the first film. No one has any reason to doubt about anything.

Her physique looked excellent in Wonder Woman. So right there is the standard. She certainly thickened up for Wonder Woman from what she used to be. Any before and after pics of her clearly show that. She will be just fine and she has nothing to prove. If she gets noticeably more cut from WW1, good for her. If she's the same as WW1, great. It's a win-win. She has great work ethic as we all saw, so her physique is the last thing on my mind.

Gal looks a lot healther than Vikander. Vikander didn't do many of her stunts, so not sure why she needed to gain the 12 lbs. She had 8 stunt doubles who did most the work for her. Gal has a very feminine nice figure, unlike Vikander.

Funny, Vikander looked like an MMA fighter where Gal decidedly did not. I’ll let reality decide which look actually tells who’s athletic and powerful and who just isn’t.
