'Justice League' extended cut hinted at by Amazon listing (update)

With Justice League rumored to be hitting Digital HD later this month, Warner Bros. will have to announce it and the Blu-ray soon. More listings for Justice League are starting to pop up at retailers, and the latest one hints at an extended edition.

Amazon Germany has a "limited edition" Blu-ray of Justice League up on their site. If you scroll down to the product information section, it lists the runtime as 135 minutes. That's 15 minutes longer than the 2 hour movie that hit theaters.

Update 1/10/18: The listing has been updated and now reads "121" minutes, crushing all hope of an extended cut. For now.

While this is unofficial, it does give hope that Warner Bros. will release an extended edition of Justice League on Blu-ray. It'd be nothing out of the ordinary, they did the same for Batman v Superman (30 extra minutes) and Suicide Squad (13 extra minutes) when they hit Blu-ray.

  I do too but I don't think they can release it because it would be totally different from the movie that was released. Different scenes with Superman/ a different superman maybe and maybe even a different ending with the Steppenwolf motive being something else. There would be a lot of a changes from the theater cut that would confuse the general audience with a different plot/motivations. I really hoped I could see Superman's character development like Snyder intended because I loved Man of Steel but ya JL was dissapointing in everything anyway not only that

      You're referring just to the extremists. There're many people who're curious to see what Zack had originally planned, and will be satisfied with some form of closure to this entire debacle. WB owes them that much for leaving out almost half the footage shown in the trailers. Some can say that it's false advertising.

I have outright refuted his bs multiple times now with accurate facts and actual statistics, it's embarrassing frankly. I have no respect for him. I've seen him repeatedly accuse others of being trolls for the simple act of disagreeing with him (even on trivial issues) and basically calls them "haters" afterwards. It's dishonest of the highest order. Honestly, I cannot stand such a stupendous degree of blatant dishonesty. I won't lie and say it doesn't bother me, because it absolutely does.         Hamani is very tiresome I agree... but he doesn't seem to have a sense of intellectual superiority that NinjaGamer clearly has. Hamani isn't quick to admit his errors, but it seems he's not that arrogant about what he perceives to be him being right. I know this sounds very arrogant to say for myself, but I know when people I talk to either know less, or are less intelligent than I am. That's not to say I'm extremely intellectually gifted. Being on the receiving end of someone's contempt is not pleasant obviously, but when you know he or she is smarter or more educated than you are, it's understandable. But if you're on the receiving end of someone's contempt and condescending tone, only to know he or she is "beneath" you in whichever way, that proves a complete lack of self-awareness (not to mention intelligence) on the other guy's part. It's something I simply cannot stand. That's why I dislike NinjaGamer so much... well, to the extent that you can dislike someone you've never even met obviously.

        Face it, you have NOTHING on your side to suggest there is a "director's cut". There's ZERO evidence.
        Do you remember that first "4 hour BvS cut" they spoke of? Yeah, that was the assembly cut. And THAT is what you and the cinematographer and sound editor are referring to. Obviously they cut a lot of that away, that's not even up for debate. That's obvious. That however, does not mean there was a director's cut.
        Do you know when the BvS UC was "finished"? Just a couple of weeks before the movie came out. Snyder confirmed this himself. The 4 hour cut however, was "finished" MONTHS before release. Now explain to me how Justice League, having far LESS time in post production, already had a director's cut literally 7 MONTHS before the movie was released? Not only that, but I believe Snyder's stated that he stopped working on the film since March. That's 9 months before release and just 4 months after they wrapped filming. It is simply IMPOSSIBLE that there was a director's cut.
        An assembly cut? No question. Enough material to make a director's cut? Of course (that's true for any film though). An editor's cut? I reckon so. It's only logical.
        A director's cut? ZERO fucking evidence.

        I pretty much never comment, but I am a follower of this site. I've seen you pop up a couple of months ago, and I have indeed noticed your dishonesty. "Seb" refuted your arguments, I'm sorry but he / she just did. Although I do not personally work in the film industry, I do know people who do and I have had the pleasure of going to sets and stuff like that. I am also very interested in film myself and it was my primary career choice growing up, but I chose to do something entirely different because I feared I'd never get a job. I don't know if you have already chosen your career or not, but if you have, I'm sure you know what I am talking about.
        My point is, I do know my stuff. And Seb is right. First, there's an assembly cut. This is not exactly a secret. There are variations of said cut throughout post-production, but director's cuts are never ready so soon in post. It doesn't work like that. A lot of the time, the director's cut is finished only a few weeks before or even after the theatrical or final cut is released in theaters. Just look at how many different cuts exist for Blade Runner.
        Point being, it's impossible for Snyder to have made his director's cut. There wasn't enough time. It could not have been done, plain and simple. He left a couple of months after principal photography ended, there's just no way he could have made one. And that's not even taking into account the unfinished CGI, music, etc.
        There is no Snyder cut and I've read what those people you refer to said. The truth is, nothing they said justifies your claim that there is a director's cut.
        As Seb said, there is an assembly cut, without a doubt. That's a given. But by all intends and purposes, there is no director's cut. I'm sorry, but it's just not true and you need to stop saying it. As people here are saying, it is dishonest.

  Can't believe that some people still expect a good movie from Hack Snyder after all the garbage he has developed.I believed in him for BvS cause he had three years to develop that movie and wb hired an oscar winner writer but after watching it, I learned my lesson.
  Hopefully, At&T would soon acquire Time Warner so we won't have to suffer cause of garbage directors ruining our childhood heroes.

      I have watched many movies which critics hated and really enjoyed them.Like Terminator Genisys, Bad Boys II, Final Destination, Scary movies 1-4 etc so nobody influenced my opinion. BvS just sucked and was a bad movie.And, Majority shares my opinion.

    MoS and BvS were fantastic. And he’s had plenty of critical AND financial hits before those.
    But like I said, why would you assume it’s worse and then not ever get the opportunity to see something that might possibly have been better? Also, most of the people who aren’t Snyder fans but still want the director’s cut that I’ve read from cite the reason of a cohesive vision being better than the Frankenstein version.
    And again, those three huge problems with the theatrical version (Frankenstein vision, CGI Supes, basically everything to do with Superman) would not be issues with the Zack Snyder cut, so how could it NOT be better?

  While clearly not enough, this is probably the best we're gonna get.
  They wont release a Snyder Cut (at least for the time being, maybe in a few years when the dust has settled), so I will be more than happy with this release if they streamline a bit the storyline with the new scenes, and fix the crappy CGI moustache job....

I only watched this movie once BvS I seen 100x that alone tells you how I feel about this smh , if its not the Snyder’s cut idc. Anyway happy New Years guys I know I been mia awhile but it’s been because after JL and last Jedi I haven’t been hype as I once was with movies. I am looking forward to Aquaman tho and i would like to hear more news about that. 15 min of a movie we all know was 3 hours does nothing for me. I can’t understand how WB a company with a history of great films couldn’t get JL done right. It should be on a lord of the rings scale of epic ness.   Yeah, It can't be fault of someone who shot 80 perecnt of movie and has a history of making bad movies like Sucker Punch and garbage like BvS.It has to be Joss Whedon who had produced multiple financial and critical success and only had six months to work on the movie.
  Funny thing is that we know that Joss next movie would be a critical success while Zack Snyder next movie would still be garbage.But, You would still make excuses for Zack and blame Joss for jl mess.

    The people that loved MoS and BvS were disappointed that JL didn't really feel like a true completion of the trilogy, but those who didn't like the first two were already predisposed to hate JL or just weren't going to see it. No one was going to win with the finished product.

        You know, it's always tempting to see these movies, being DC fans at heart. But the moment I see those rotten reviews, I just know... Why bother? I'm going to be disappointed anyways, and I'm not going to financially support WB for making garbage films. The only way to vote as an audience member is with your money. But besides, according to Fabian Wagner, Scott Hecker, Robert Citrone, and (indirectly) Zack Snyder, it seems it wouldn’t be nearly as difficult to put together (if it needs putting together at all) as you seem to think.
        No one ever claimed the petition would work, but it’s better than just sitting and doing nothing.

Not because I think it would be a good film, just out of curiosity. And signing a stupid petition doesn't cost me a thing, so why not?
        Suppose it happens and they release his cut... Do you really believe for one second that I "WOULD" buy it? Hell no, neither WB, nor Snyder deserve my money. They have repeatedly failed and refused to listen to criticism, even worse, they arrogantly double down on their mistakes.     You really can't be serious. "All movies do this" Are you kidding me. I own over 200 movies of all genres and not one of them is an extended cut of the original version. Some have deleted scenes as bonus features that can be seen separately but that's about it.
    Only DC does this.
    I'm sure 15 minutes of extra footage will boost sales. Not saying that by a lot, though.

      It added more good parts to the movie. Not saying it all the sudden became a masterpiece. But it was definitely a bit better. With the help of those added parts and significantly lowered standards, I’ve come to the point where I can actually tolerate the movie now, so that’s saying something :P
