on 'Justice League' video shows Kiersey Clemons filming her deleted Iris West scene

The day after Justice League hit theaters, a rough version of Kiersey Clemons' scene as Iris West was leaked online. The special effects weren't finished, but we got to see Barry Allen save West from a car accident.

Today, a behind-the-scenes video of that scene has surfaced. We see Clemons strapped to a machine to simulate her flying through the air in slow motion with a green screen behind her. Check it out above.

Sources tell Batman News that this scene is being worked on as a deleted for the Justice League Blu-ray, but that a different female actor is being put into the scene to replace Clemons. This scene could go from Barry Allen saving Iris West to him just saving a random girl. If that's true, it's possible that Clemons will be recast if Iris West appears in a future DC Films movie.

    Why is she being recast ? What the fuck is going on over there in Warner’s Bros. I don’t know anymore. I’m doing my best to give this guys a chance since BvS but I’m getting tired of there incompetence to even have their shit together

      She may or not be recast. She was Rick Famuyiwa's choice; since she was
      removed from Justice League, they want whoever directs the eventual
      Flash movie to be able to cast a new Iris if they want.

          Not exactly the same, as they weren't cast because they were "acquaintances" of the director, and in the end they are more popular than this actress.

          And Wan hasn't complained about them, so maybe it's just another case like that of Gadot-Jenkins and they have got along extremelly well -and by the looks of it, it seems so!

        I can't speak for marsz, but the only thing I've seen her in is Dope. Everyone in that film seems so natural except for her, she looked like she was acting instead of just slipping into her character. Maybe she's better in other roles, but based off of that performance, I'm not too interested in her playing Iris.

          Well that makes more sense than calling her a hack. When I think of hack I think of someone who is past their prime who continues to disappoint... I’d say she is up and coming still... I’m not trying to defend Clemens based on her work I’m just speaking objectively

      I like to see Kylie Bunbury who was on the Fox short lived series "Pitch" or Clark Backo who's going to be on the "Supernatural" spin off series "Wayward Sisters" as the new Iris West.

    Wow this shit is just getting stinkier and stinkier. Is nobody at Warner Bros. listening? We are not stupid, we will NOT BUY an extended version of that Whedon / Johns / Elfman crap, nobody wants to see that and cringe for even longer. All we are asking for is Zack's original scenes and story, simply his cut of the movie. If WB releases Extended Crap, that the ony thing I'm gonna do with that is download it for free so I can change the soundtrack and switch as many scenes with the trailer shots as possible to make it at least close to Zack's indended version.

    The 'optics' on this are bad. The reality is that Rick Famuyima cast her, having directed her in Dope. He's out, so she's out. The perception is that they're seizing the opportunity to replace her with (likely) a white actress.

    Well, WB took the video down. All this leaked content is ruffling someone's feathers. Sadly, it's in the wrong way though because it just makes them more determined to get away from it and pretend it didn't happen.

    Prediction. JL blu-ray will be released with several deleted scenes. Next year, a few months before Aquaman, another JL blu-ray will be released with the unfinished Snyder version. Well it's the smart thing to do...so maybe Warner won't do it.

    I saw Justice League for the third time yesterday and it felt even more awesome than before. Joss Whedon's script is incredibly cohesive and the acting is superb. Seriously, I even got emotional at some scenes. CGI quality is also above average, especially compared to recent Marvel movies. Honestly, I don't understand why US critics hated this movie. In Brazil (where I live), it got great reviews and is on course to becoming the highest grossing superhero movie of 2017. Too bad the gullible US audience went with the RT score and didn't give JL the box office numbers it deserved.

      Gullible? No. Many DCEU fans, even those who have supported the movies since Man of Steel, strongly dislike Justice League and do not want to support it. If WB does not have the heart of the fans, then how will it possibly make the "box office numbers it deserved".
