Taylor Swift's new music video teaser uses the 'Batman Forever' font

I love Batman. I love Taylor Swift. So let me tell you how my two worlds collided earlier today.

I was browsing Facebook and saw that Taylor Swift posted a teaser for her upcoming music video, "...Ready For It?". It featured flashes of footage, but then the words "Taylor Swift" came on the screen in a very familiar looking font. Yes, it was the classic Batman Forever font that you still see associated with Batman today. I shared a screenshot on Twitter, and you can watch it for yourself in the video above.

The quick teaser video ends with the words "...Ready For It?", again, in that familiar Batman Forever font. I'm not sure if that font has an official name or if it was created specifically for Batman Forever, but Taylor Swift is definitely using it to promote her latest music video. And that's pretty cool!

Batman Forever certainly popularized the font if it didn't outright create it.
I still see it used everywhere since - lots of YouTube channels use it.

    I believe it is called Bank Gothic. Sounds like Batman Forever to me.

  I do have to respect that, in contrast to all the stuff Schumacher has been quoted as saying on the sets of his Batman films, they at least tried to keep a thread of examining Bruce Wayne psychologically in Forever. Alfred (love Michael Gough) gets some charming moments too.

    I rewatched both Burtons recently and Returns has aged much better than Batman ‘89. Or, I should say, Batman has aged much worse. Nicholson dancing around while a goon plays Prince from a boombox just looks silly now.

  Boring, I understand. No one appeals to everyone the same way. But calling a musician trying to sell records an "attention whore" is a bit much, dont you think? By that logic any artist trying to sell their music is an attention whore.

    I recall the hook for me to watch that movie was bodysuit Scarlett. When it was over, I realized the most memorable part was bodysuit Scarlett.
    It was a lot like Under the Skin in that aspect.

  Heard something about her doing some cyber-naked robot thing in her next music video. She's getting increasingly cheaper. Never followed her but she seemed much better staying in country and breaking ground there. Now it sounds like she's putting out Britney-type music, post Oops I Did It Again. But cheaper and unoriginal.
