The ride's not over yet! We had heard reports that Aquaman filming had wrapped, but it seems like the two stars of the movie still have some work to do.
Jason Momoa and Amber Heard were spotted filming a scene as Aquaman and Mera on a beach in Currumbin, Australia today. 7 News Gold Coast has video from the Aquaman set which you can watch above.
Aquaman is scheduled to wrap up filming soon. It hits theaters on December 21, 2018.
Thanks Eric for the heads up!

When JL is over we literally have the BIGGEST GAP of waiting
No the 3 years from Man of Steel to BvS was worse
I'll see you and raise you the six years between Stephen King's The Waste Lands and Wizard and Glass, six years waiting for the resolution of a cliffhanger that had left our characters STUCK ON A PSYCHOTIC TRAIN!
Six years? HA! Samurai Jack. Series ends with no resolution. 13 years of waiting for a proper finale.
That’s nothing! Back in my day, we had to wait 4 years between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
And don’t get me started on the gap between Batman & Robin and Batman Begins.
Lol every now and then I go to Page one in Batman News and see the BIG GAPS between the news
lol. Well I didn't launch the website until September 6th, 2010. So any articles before that was me just trying to cover "big" stuff so that first day visitors had something to read!
These days I'm writing about 4 articles a day. There's always something!
Justice league is going to suck. It's confirmed runtime is 121 minutes. That's with credits. What a freaking joke. Johns and Berg have ruined what could have been truly epic. What a mess. The future documentary about how WB screwed up justice league will be better than the actual film. Let's all play to the lowest common denominator, forget actually trying to challenge the audience. Snyder was a legend and stupid people ruined his vision. Screw you people.
THIS COULD win best visuals if they make it crazy good especially since they are using zack underwater technique
Hopefully, THIS and JL will win.
Why it has zero chance?
Zack is a good guy and the Academy likes Harveys.
I don't see why JL has no chance, but okay.
Amber Heard and her azz tho...
She is right...this is thick https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
Chicks gid the car after all:

Zack is posting 1 behind the scenes pick of JLA a day on Vero.
After Justice League, we'll have to wait 13 months for the next DCEU movie 😢 the first lineup was sooo good, one movie every 3-4 months.
Flash was supposed to coming out March of next year but we all know how that worked out
Where are these from?
JL...him heading to the rescue of atlantis...guessing its steppenwolf up to no good...
I didn’t remember that shot in the trailers! I guess I need to re-watch them 100 more times, haha xD
I'm sure that this movie will be very colorful and visually stunning
Who here going to see JL NOV 16TH!!?? https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
Me going to see it https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
I need a dc movie every month https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
2018 !! Happy ..december ?? 😢😢😢
I feel you man....
If anyone watched the Lakers-Clippers last night, were you shocked just as me to see Gadot and Jenkins at the game?
A bit actually, but anyone could show up for a NBA game.
Yeah, not shocked at all honestly. It is L.A. so...
That is very different from his JL armor, I'm not feeling the armor and pants combo though (maybe they are just taking waist and up shots of him). Amber never fails to look hot though, can't wait to see her and Gal fighting together in JL.
They both look dashing. Loving Aquaman's costume. I hope they shoot a lot on location with as many practical effects as possible. I know Wan said he wanted to do that but I do wonder how much of the plan they've accomplished. I hope we get some official pics before the year is out. Best marketing strategy would be to release official pics of things that leaked, like these photos. To keep as many things under wraps as possible.
Does anybody know if they really used the Alexa 65?
Arthur stole the armour of a guard to escape?
Dude. Your profile picture and name.
Hmmm, it seems he's wearing a guard's armor. Could it be he had to disguise himself in order to escape Atlantis with Mera? Just a thought. Arthur isn't exactly accepted in Atlantis from what Jason said.
I'll have to see how it looks in the movie, but I'm really not feeling whatever armor Jason is rocking here. Michael Wilkinson's designs are still unmatched imho.
Love the atlantean armor...I am guessing he stole it to escape with Mera...his royal garb will probably be like the comics as we have seen in JL..
I'm agree with you. Maybe he become a fugitive
Because of orm..looking forward to seeing how black manta will look...wonder if James Wan asked Zack for important...
I hope so. I'm optimistic about the movie
I'm really looking forward to the color-corrected film on this, because that Goth henna job they did on her hair is atrocious.
Anyone else notice that dude in the speedo talking to the crew? lol.
maybe he's crew as well lololol
maybe! i noticed that he was really the only person in that video snip wearing a speedo. i mean, if i saw jason and company at the beach i'd throw on a speedo and chat them up also.
they look like toys... so fake
Amber seems a bit pudgy...
Boooo
I wish I could Like this comment again!
She's so hot though!
Any thinner Mera will look like this https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
Pudgy? Get your freaking eyes checked now!
https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
seems hot af if you ask me
Guess he likes rib cage showing with tiny lil bodies..
She looks perfect, too bad she's such a shit actress.
supposedly she can be good when she really wants to be. Ive heard she did really well in The Danish Girl
What is Jason wearing? That doesn’t seem like the Aquman suit to me, though it could look cool... But can we just get the shoulder armor look from BvS back first before we introduce a THIRD costume?
Also, please tell me Mera is not gonna be wearing that cheesy bright green bodysuit the whole movie... Her JL armor is perfection...
Wait, is that symbol different, too??
Man that’s a cool looking shot!
Is this the Aquaman parade? Haha
Its the hype...fucking JUSTICE LEAGUE!!! https://uploads.disquscdn.c... https://uploads.disquscdn.c... https://uploads.disquscdn.c... https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
This is the best lol
First look at his costume. The slits in this are my favorite part but overall its slimner and dope looking.
We should be getting a trailer soon perhaps when JL come out can’t wait
I'm surprised no one leaked the comic con footage.
In other news, Jason revealed that Aquaman hates Cyborg. Amber's looking sexy as always.
so is this a scene where they are bonding by having a fun day at the beach?
Dude he looks bad ass
Watching Amber walk up on shore out of the ocean...
Amber: "Is that your trident or are you just happy to see me?"
You heard Patrick Wilson wrapped filming; not the entire Aquaman production LOL
Looks like Amber made Mamoa wet. How can you blame him?
