New 'Justice League' trailer shown at industry event, hopefully coming online next week

Last night, Warner Bros. gave a presentation at the National Association of Theatre Owners Fall Summit. Chris Sylvia, VP at Regal Cinemas, was there and said that Geoff Johns took the stage to go over all things DC, including showing off a brand new Justice League trailer. So when can fans expect to see the new (and final?) Justice League trailer online?

My best guess is next Thursday, October 5th for a couple of reasons. First, that's when Warner Bros.' big movie, Blade Runner 2049, is coming out. It's a sci-fi movie, so a new Justice League trailer would be perfect for that audience. By releasing the trailer online that afternoon, Warner Bros. won't have to worry about any leaks when Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters later that night. And October 5th just happens to be the first day of New York Comic-Con. It'd be a great way to kick off the show and the weekend.

If we don't get the new Justice League trailer next week like I think we will, at least we know it's coming soon. It was shown last night at an industry event, so it's ready to go!

  I'd love that to happen too. But not the CW Supergirl. I want the "Supergirl that beats Darkseid's butt animated movie".
  As for GL, OMG, if HE is in the movie, I'd go insane especially if its played by Armie Hammer, I might totally lose it.

        Because there've been so many interpretations of Superman since then... Look, you like Superman's depiction in MoS and that's cool, but there's no need to live in denial. Zack's Superman is not globally loved. He's just not. He's a divisive brooder who let his dad die just so he can keep his secret. I don't like this Superman. And I think Cavil and Adams have the chemistry of siblings. When Superman died in BvS, not only did it not resonate with me, I was almost content. And I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

        you were content with his death ? yeah you're definitely alone on that. zack's superman may not be universally loved but he is loved by the majority. he is far from a brooder and his dad sacrificed his life fro him because he believed his son wasn't ready fro such a burden. he wanted him to be ready and he believed and trusted his father, he honored his fathers wishes. you seriously think they have the chemistry of siblings ? for you to state that, you must have no siblings cause that's ridiculous.

        I’m almost positive Superman always lets his dad die in the comics when they go down that path. It’s not because he wants to, but because his father motions him to stop. His father understands that his son is destined for great things and deserves to also be able to live a normal life. Knows that a secret identity is important. Don’t forget that this was Christopher Nolan’s idea for Superman. He had it while making Batman and started out as a producer. It could have been better. I’m just hopeful all of this brooding, negative, piss poor Superman was leading to one that is better than ever. It’s hard because I expect Superman to be able to avoid destroying cities and I expect to see him doing important stuff in between big jobs, but we haven’t had the chance to see that. We will see what happens over the next few films. We can only go up, because they can’t get much worse, so that’s nice.

      Melissa Benoist is hot. The only problem is that she is a musical theater kind of actress (no wonder she was a lead on Glee !). She is a great singer and dancer, but her version of Supergirl (or the version that was written for her) is tailored for a pre--teen and teen girl audience, which is the CW"s demographics. It wouldn't work with a broader movie base IMHO.

  IF either of them were to make an appearance (and I have 0% hope of SG and only a 40% hope of any GL), they'd save it for the movie and not blow it in the trailer, I'm sure.

      It was most likely her. But it doesn't mean that she herself will be in the movie. Her entire part in the movie may be reduced to a 10 seconds cameo of Bruce looking at her hologram. Maybe Bruce made an expedition to the Fortress of Solitude and recovered the files on Sup's family, as a part of his quest to find other metahumans.

        Considering you had the attention span of potato where you thought Supes could've SIMPLY put his hands on Zod's eyes to stop him—note how getting his hands melted off wouldn't be stopping Zod and rather become even harder to do without hands, but of course it's fuck logical consistency with you as usual—I wasn't presumptuous in assuming you believed there's an actual Fortress in the DC Films somewhere. If you watched BvS properly you'd know that Lois Lane is his Solitude but nah, that'd be giving Zack and Terrio too much credit. Why do that when we can make fun of the piss for days? 😑

    I'd say there is about a 0% chance for either of them to appear, but it's fun to speculate, so I'm not going to stop you. You never know though, they killed off Superman in the second movie, anything's possible.

Justice League... Might be the last DC Comics movie I'll enjoy, if Whedon didn't destroy it too much.
I still have hope for Aquaman too, but that's it.

    Only to 'write' the reshoots, not even direct them let alone post-produce the entire film. All of that happened later. Considering post-production can make/break a film, this will be a Joss Whedon movie with Zack's principal photography. 🤷‍♂️

      Snyder gave him control, you know what i suspect Snyder gave him a ton of notes on what to do and not do. You're not working on the film so really you know jack shit on whats happening, for once i would trust Snyder's judgement as Whedon is the man what gave us the biggest comic movie in history and kicked off the need for shared movie universes with every single studio right now. Whedon himself is a comic book nerd and loves this stuff so yeah i think he knows what he's doing, if all the stuff was happining but with Snyder would you worry? No you wouldn't and if anything you would be praising him.

        What I've mentioned are hard facts: Zack only brought on Joss to write the extra connective-tissue which would form basis for the reshoots, which he was going to shoot himself like Patty Jenkins shot her reshoots herself, like every director ever.
        What you mention is wishful thinking and speculation as to what happened.

        Yeah except i never contradicted myself as i used one word to stop that what is "Suspect" what shows what i'm thinking, you know if you had any idea on how films were made you would think the same as well and the fact Snyder hand picked Whedon himself and put his trust in him means a lot, if Snyder is god like all the fanboys on here think he is then maybe you should trust his judgement on this considering he picked Whedon himself. It isn't wishful thinking when its pretty clear whats happening when you read articles instend of the headlines, lets face it though if JL gets 98% on RT, earns over a billion and gets Oscar nods i suspect all you lot will turn on Snyder and say Whedon is god because thats what you all seem to do when something good happens with the DCEU.

  I dont mind Avengers but the quips and jokes in serious moments are pathetic and bad. It takes away the whole serious moments. Even in Civil War Ironman vs Cap, 2 really good friends fighting eachother (for what we know could have been to death) and they throw in a few jokes while beating up your best friend. Its pathetic.

        I know its confirmed now, but to comeback to your comment about it being the actual suit. Not it wasnt, it was the MoS suit. It had the exact same hieroglyphics as the MoS suit.
