Well, it is "Titans" and not "Teen Titans". As long as they've got good storylines (and good production and performances), it shouldn't matter much.

What hits. That joker movie is just a rumor and is probably not happening and Matt never said the batman wouldn't be in the DCEU. The movie will be in the DCEU and will be a self contained story like Wonder Woman. That's what the confusion was about.

We don't know that. WB/DC hasn't made an official statement about it, nor will they until The Batman actually enters production. Honestly, until I see otherwise, I'm not considering ANY movies past Justice League to be part of the DCEU. Yes, I'm including Flashpoint and Wonder Woman 2 in there.

    All they have to do is not mention the Justice League or Steppenwolf or Mother Boxes. I hope I'm wrong about this, but the whole thing that seems to be happening with this Joker origin story and The Batman really feels like WB has lost confidence in the DCEU despite the success of Wonder Woman.

      Same. I think if the other movies aren't called elseworlds and then the title I'd be disappointed. And how cool would it be after establishing the DCEU more, the elseworld universe and after the flashpoint movie. They do a crisis on infinite earths and we see three different batmen in one room lol. I'm very excited to see what they do with this

I think her eyes and smile work for it, and I'm sure she could rock the hairstyle. She'll be orange, so I don't see this as a 'black or white' race thing (although, on some level, I'm sure pandering is on their mind). Starfire is a pretty flexible cast in that she doesn't have a human skin color.
I'm gonna give her a chance. Haven't seen her acting, but that photo gives me an accurate vibe for the character. :)

This. I've been thinking the same thing. I think most people think of the cartoon maybe? But I feel recent features of starfire are obviously not white. (And afrolatinx exist! I do think that would have been awesome. But I agree, I see Ms. Diop and I feel she works so well).

the actress that plays Gamora is Dominican not African American and why does that even matter star fire is an alien anybody can play that part what matters is who's best suited to play the part dimwit. They could have gotten someone hotter, cause that's what starfire is supposed to be, but I guess it could work. As long as they make her look like the character with make up and a good wig (avoid a Medusa situation). Ofc she should also be able to convincingly embody the character in mannerisms and voice like we all know her.
