Japanese 'Justice League' poster shows the heroes in and out of their costumes

A photo of a new Justice League poster from Japan has surfaced online today, and it shows the heroes in and out of their costumes.

The new Japanese poster puts a twist on the Justice League poster that was released earlier this year. Instead of just showing the heroes standing tall, we get to see large images of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, and Ray Fisher as Victor Stone looming over their alter egos.

It's a really cool twist on the previous poster, and I hope Warner Bros. released an English version in high resolution soon. For now, check out the Japanese version above.

This why I hope they don't lighten up Cyborg's character too much, he should struggle with being a "freak" initially. Then after the JL embraces him he can learn to accept himself.

  initially? that poor man is going to be dickless for the rest of his life.
  But in all seriousness, if they reshot scenes with Cyborg, then I feel sorry for the VFX team because they're going to have to do a helluva lot in a short amount of time. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be some noticeable variation in the quality of Cyborg's CGI.

  The difference here is in that thing was an anonymous letter. This scoop, on the other hand, comes from a guy that has been right about those things before multiple times.
  On top of that -- look at everything you've learned about the movie so far. Does it really sound promising? At this point, movie should already be finished. I don't see how Whedon can make it in time.

    Super-excellent points. Production on WW went smoothly, as far as I can tell; even the reshoots. (The only reshot/additional scene I've read about is the walk to the No Man's Land.) The 'mess' letter came out of nowhere.
    JL, however... Joss Whedon taking over was never going to be a seamless transition. "Whedon was already being brought on to add 'connective tissue.'" OK...but does adding some light-hearted banter require a new composer? Whedon's last film was scored by--you guessed it--Danny Elfman. It's very hard not to see that as Whedon bringing in his guy to replace Snyder's guy.
    I'm not an interloper from a Marvel fan site; I've seen Wonder Woman 3 times and might sneak in a 4th. I just have to roll my eyes anytime signs of trouble are dismissed as "fake news."

      I take it, you're new here. Allow me to welcome you. It's fun here. See, we have two warring sides -- the haters, which I'm a member of, and the believers. As far as I'm concerned, the believers have their heads so deep in the sand, they risk burning their hair by the mantle.
      It wasn't always like that. Two years ago, we were full of hopes and excitement. It's been two long years of nightmare, and I just want it to be over. I have no doubt that Snyder's JL version is horrid. But if Heaven wills it, maybe Whedon will be able to shape it into at least something entertaining to watch. Like Pirates of the Caribbean level watchable.

I get it, I understand why, I really do but.. hardly seeing Superman in the marketing for the first ever Justice League movie and instead seeing Batman as the "lead" is rather depressing. I'm going to be first in line but the marketing for this has been underwhelming to me to the point where I am no longer enthusiastic about it. Not to be confused with "I am not interested".. I will be first in line but not seeing my favorite character of all time in the Justice League marketing is just sad.

For sure like the trailers i get not showing him you want to make his return something people talk about. However the posters should of been fair game especially for Superman fans personally i love it as a Batman fan but i can see how this pisses off Superman fans having him take a back seat for now. Hopefully Justice League 2 will have him front and center by then we could even have a retired Batman.

  When I watched JL as a kid I always saw Martian Manhunter as the real leader figure who kept everyone in check and got stuff done, so I don't disagree with you there.

  Hey man, long time no see. And are you sure? I have always seen him as the lead. Batman is without a doubt the tactician and provider but much like Captain America in the MCU.. no matter how much Stark orders and provides, they still look up to Cap as the leader. Either way, that's besides the point, what really upsets me is that the first ever Justice League movie doesn't have Superman in the majority of their marketing.

    I'm sure. I never really saw this version of the team with a leader. In the JLI era, I'd say it was Batman, but more because of seniority & J'onn not really wanting to be.
    Truthfully, this version of Kent is the one that has most interested me. Up until BvS: DoJ, I thought Batman & Luther were the only 2 really interesting DC characters.
    Since BvS:DoJ, I have no interest in the DCEU versions of them and now only find Kent & Diana interesting. Cavill so got screwed out of a good MoS sequel. His storyline in BvS:DoJ was the only one I wanted more of.
    Though his death made me chuckle.

      I'm doing well, thanks. I agree on his death but honestly, I always saw Superman as the leader and not Batman. He has that gravitas to him and people (even Batman) look up to him. That's a leader.

      Completely disagree. More this time then last time. This composite of the JLA doesn't need a leader. Going into a fight, what's Kent going to do? Defer to Batman to give instructions on his plan to handle the situation?
      "I lead, but you come up with everything & tell us what to do."
      Some leader.
      Batman has respect for Kent, "looking up to him" is a bit of a stretch. I think it was JLA: Foreign Bodies where Batman had control of Kent's body & noted how much more Kent could be doing to help the world.

      I disagree completely as well. You just simply don't understand the type of leader I'm talking about. That's why I used captain America as an example in the MCU. He doesn't say "he is the leader". Superman has never been that type of leader. They DO look up to him and he inspires hope, something even Batman can't do.
      Superman doesn't "take charge", people want to follow him because he is a boy scout. Maybe I'm just old school but I grew up with Superman being the poster boy of the Justice League and people turning to him for guidance. Sure Batman is smart and does the plans, blah blah blah.. but he doesn't inspire people the way Superman does.
      There is a reason Superman is front and center in anything Justice League related.. well right up until Batman became their cash cow and they started pasting him everywhere even a Justice League Dark movie.. yuck. Don't think we will reach an agreement though, guess we will just have to disagree. Still utterly disappointed and turned off by the Superman-less marketing in the FIRST EVER Justice League movie.

      Yeah. I think back to Superfriends up through the Galactic Guardians series and the Morrison started JLA series through the relaunch thereafter. I always interpreted leadership as being shared by Kent, Diana, & Batman.
      The others could be looking toward Kent for "hope," but I don't hesitate to believe they'll look toward Batman when the shit hits the fan.
      As a Sox fan, there's talk how the team has many leaders. Some by speeches of inspiration, some as buffers to the media, & some by deed. None has the C on his jersey, nor identifies as the alpha leader.
      That's how I've always seen the Justice League. That's also different to how I've always seen the Avengers.
      Then again, I've always preferred the loner characters to teams.
