Cara Delevingne is "pretty sure" she won't be in 'Suicide Squad 2'

Suicide Squad villain Cara Delevingne is currently promoting her new sci-fi movie Valerian, and in a new interview with USA Today she was asked about returning for Suicide Squad 2.

Delevingne said that she's "pretty sure" she won't be back as Enchantress for the Suicide Squad sequel, adding "it was a life-changing experience and of course I’d do another one, but I don’t think it would make sense for the character."

The bond that the Suicide Squad actors formed with one another is well documented, and Delevingne said that she'll "probably still be on the set hanging out with everyone."

Suicide Squad 2 is currently in development, with Jaume Collet-Serra currently in talks to direct. Will you miss Enchantress in the sequel? Let me know in the comments below.

The dancing was CGI, for god sake! Her character was one of the best characters who turned out to be the worst. Gosh, her character was the best but was completely destroyed by the cuts and the changes of essential parts, the CGI applied to her scenes and the distortion of her voice.
She was an anti-heroine who wanted justice/revenge against the people who imprisoned her and the others members of the squad . She also had a very beautiful story with Rick Flagg, but all the scenes were cut.

As his character ended up in Suicide Squad, it was almost obvious he was not coming back for his sequel. However, she could return for Justice League Dark (maybe 2021), obviously more polished as an actress...

  I didn't even have much problem with her random movements later on in the film. They really weren't as exaggerated as people say they are. It's like how people exaggerated Lex's "hmmm". And the movements reminded me of ghosts possessing people in the PS3 Ghostbusters game.

There are plenty of better actresses who can do just as good a job, if not better, at nearly-naked writhing.

And yes, Cara's right, it would make no sense to bring her back. Flag, Boomerang, Deadshot, HQ, maybe Bronze Tiger.

The Dancing Enchanted Witch, isn't returning?! Then why even bother making a sequel?!😉 Can't wait to see Delevingne in that Valerian movie though! David Ayer regretted not "grounding" the story more, with Suicide Squad. If he stays on as director of the Sirens, I think he'll have to really tone down Poison Ivy's powers. Make Ivy more like the original animated series version, and less like the new adventures version, in order to avoid Enchantress comparisons.

      I was never scared of Ramses when I was a kid. I'm still surprised that people used to be scared of him. The only thing that ever freaked out was the "Perfect" episode.

I liked Suicide Squad, but she was easily the weakest point of the movie. We barely saw her as June Moon and the Enchantress was a poor villain.

I hope at least they address what happens to June after being de-possessed though.
Although a sequel is pretty fucking stupid now since it's a lose-lose situation for WB:
If they make a movie with a more grounded plot and realistic objectives for such a team, then the first movie is gonna make even less sense and seem more stupid, but if they make it like the first one, it's gonna be stupid again so they really can't win much with a sequel. Might as well forget it and move on to spin offs and other teams like TT or make a movie from the pov of the villains and call it legion of doom lol

      Point is it barely had any competition and it had the budget to actually try in at least one aspect of filmmaking.

She won't be back as Enchantress so there's still a chance we see Dr. June Moon. Is that what hanging around the set is supposed to mean (or maybe the more obvious get-together)? That'd be cool!
It would actually make sense for Enchantress to be back if the Eyes of the Adversary do indeed turn out to be proto-Parademons experiment like it was revealed in the concept art. The themes of Old Gods (Enchantress and Incubus) conspiring with the Apokoliptian New Gods would be pretty freaking neat, IMO!

Why waste more screen time with a villain that's:
A) already been done in the worst DCEU movie yet;
B) completely uninteresting.
Why not actually give time to more interesting villains with more potential to be great, instead of a fucking witch who got defeated by a bat swinging loony criminal, a guy who shoots well, a crocodile man and a boomerang throwing robber? I mean, Batman alone could defeat that thing.

That's a shame. I guess I'm part of the minority that liked her character. I was hoping she'd come back and join the squad having gained more control of her Enchantress powers, them destroying Enchantress' heart didn't kill her but made them one person. Oh well...

Hopefully she's up for Justice League Dark.

    I like Cara, but I thought her performance was really weak as June. It felt very amateurish, despite her only having a few lines. Which is surprising when she did an incredible job with the physicality of Enchantress.

      Eh. Not really much you can do with playing as a character who's basically scared the whole time she's on-screen. I think if they had developed June a bit more before she released her brother, Cara would've did a better job.

      Some people are nuts, they think that a character is made with one line or two. As June Moon, the character had a love relationship with Rick Flagg and was very tortured.

      Yea, but she didn't get a lot of focus from that. Flagg was the one who the most character development from the relationship. June was put on the backseat once Enchantress took over.

      Not on the original film. Their story was the best , but the tortured love relationships of this film " June/Flagg and Harley/Joker were completely changed. One of the great differences between the original and the final version since there's have been several cuts tested to the audiences, is that the characters didn't talk about things, they did things. Flagg and Moon relationship was shown, not just mentioned by one of the characters.

I say the original group (what's left of them) have to go stop death stroke from killing the batman who is in arkum asylum tied up by death stroke...the team is completely conflicted but Amanda Waller owes Bruce a favor....ultimately batman is trolling everyone to think he's caught to find out the where-abouts of the joker because Harley is part of the squad and she knows where he is....

Obviously tie in GCS so we have a reason as to why Harley is locked up again....boom

I enjoyed the movie but most people had issues with the narrative. I'd like for all the characters to return but not only in SS2. Why can't Cara reprise her role in say WW2 or Shazam? Whether we liked the film or not these characters are still part of the universe. And how cool what it be if these characters popped up in other DCEU films.

Oh, God! Can anyone realize here that the dance was CGI? Do you really think that she could do those movements? Just look at the scenes. This wasn't even a well made CGi that we couldn't notice the difference like in the last scene of princess Leia in Rogue one.
