Here’s a cool new look at Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, and yes, even Superman, in Justice League promotional art.
The new images were spotted on Golden Link (thanks to Batman News reader @GeekPride5 for the heads up!). Golden Link specializes in providing concession stand promotional items, such as popcorn bags and cups, to movie theaters.

These are all awesome! I much prefer the fighting/action stances to the regular standing poses on the first official team poster. Also, Supes looks fantastic with the league. Can't wait!
This proves to me they're not gonna keep Superman hidden and reveal him in the next trailer. Which honestly isn't a big deal. Everyone and their mother knows Superman is in this. What they should continue hiding though is the "other" Superman.
It's a lose/lose situation. You reveal him, people will be upset about not getting the precious first impression while watching the movie. You don't reveal him, some may be turned off the movie, thinking he is either not there or his presence is negligible.
Yep. At best, they could tease us by showing his cape or playing the sound of a sonic boom.
The latter seems like the better option out of the two. It's not like Superman is this huge hit among audiences that they wouldn't want to watch Justice league if he isn't advertised, and if they keep teasing him like @schuylerfinley:disqus said, that would be so much better than showing him in trailers.
they dont need to reveal him. Just tease him. Remind people that he IS in the movie but dont actually show him in the trailers. Reference his death and what not

yeah they are recycling stuff lol. whats uo with that, it's not even supposed to be the same suit
Making 2 statues similar to BvS concept art isn't exactly recycling, and we haven't seen close-ups yet so it's too early to judge
Maybe they are not included in the gallery because in the picture they are only photos of the characters above a base, not the actual mini statues/figures that will be sold.

I say keep Superman out of the trailers, but don't hold back from putting him on posters and merch. I won't be disappointed or turned off of the movie if they reveal him, but I would prefer they kept him for the movie
I have a feeling that's exactly what they're going to do. Showing him in just the merchandise is enough to tell people he's in the movie, who may not have known that he is.
She was "front and centre" since before BvS came out. This has nothing to do with her movie

Anything BvS related bums me out. they should have left WW a surprise for that one.
where's the logic of having WW front center in a BvS movie. Why make a BvS movie with WW, why not make it trinity... so many bad decisions... :(
Well, it wasn't just a Batman vs Superman movie. They had 'Dawn of justice' in there too.
Could it have been a better film with just Batman vs Superman? I think so, but I still loved Wonder Woman's entrance and her scenes, and the entire 3rd act overall.
Agreed, but imagine the impact it would've had on us hadn't we known beforehand she was in it.
Although the 3rd act was fun, I just think 2 moments ruined it for me:
1:Batman is about to get blown by a radioactive way and what he does is cover his face with his hands instead of trying to eject the seat or something.
2: The line "I thought she was with you" makes no sense. I mean Batman just emailes her, he knows who she is... I dunno, just think it was dumb.
The movie could've been perceived as a better movie if those elements came as a surprise, but since people knew all that stuff they were pissed that nothing major happened in the film for the first 2 hours and 25 minutes.
A lot of people must have seen BvS for Wonder Woman, so they had to advertise her.
1. If you pay close attention, you'll notice Batman was stuck with his seat belt and he tried to get out right before Doomsday landed in front of him. But I agree with you saying he shouldn't have tried to cover his face (i know its a usual reaction but this is batman we're talking about)
2. Batman still didn't know who she was which is why he asks her so many questions ("who are you?") in his email (and Diana casually ignores them all Lol). All he knew was that she's been here for at least a 100 years. He didn't know how long Superman had been on earth. He must have thought since they're both meta-humans, they must know each other. I know this wasn't really hinted at, but it's my best guess.
The Capitol bombing was a major event that happened midway in the film. What i think you (and a lot of people) wanted was more action
Maybe, but I doubt the percentage of people who would go see a Batman and Superman movie for WW, otherwise they wouldn't is very very very small, like less than 1%.

Not sure about that. I don't mind little action as long as the story keeps me interested, but this one didn't do it.
At the end of the day this movie has a lot of directing, editing and writing issues. People who like this movie are able to see past them. But those of us can't see past them, don't like it. The movie is a technical mess and it also has some very weird director choices that some people happen to like and some don't but they don't stop being weird.
Some issues are subjective but some definitely aren't.
I know bvS has issues and I still love most of it, but yeah, this movie was more divisive than Man of Steel (which I'd say most fans - not including christopher-reeves-is-mah-only-superman fans - loved/liked it)

This is just sad, no one in that company (DCEU) is obviously following the film storylines and are just eager to make a quick buck that they would feature a character they killed off in the last film as promo art for the next film, just makes no sense at all. We all know Sups will eventually come back but to feature a currently dead character with no indication that he will be in the next film (maybe flashbacks or the very end if we're lucky) is just a dumb move on their end. Ugh DC get you're act together or actually get ppl who know what they are doing, make your true fans happy for once.

No one is claiming to be an expert, but please, explain how looking for some accuracy as a fan is embarrassing, I would love to hear it
oh wait, I forgot, its DCEU, accuracy doesn't exist outside of its comic pages, but fans of the inaccuracy do exist, but please keep that trend going, its really successful for those "fans"

What is consistent with this marketing? Please explain, how is promoting a character that was killed off in the previous movie proper marketing for the new movie...makes no sense what so ever. Even if they were going to feature him in the movie, he was still killed at the end of the previous film, if he were alive, ok, different story, but tease the resurrection or something else other than a promo pic taken from BVS or Man of Steel. Its simple, its a sad attempt to milk a dead character, no one is saying he will not return, but there has been no indication in the slightest to say he has an important part in the film. Instead of ppl jumping on the "oh he's attacking the movie and marketing" BS, why not just look at it logically, my only issue is Supes in this picture, because again its a 'milk the cow after he's dead' routine that has never been as apparent as it is in this marketing.
Thats not a surprise, but more of a reality notion, we know he's coming back, anyone who has a comic friend or has any knowledge of comics knows this is a trend in the comic world, but my issue isn't the fact that he's in it, the issue is the fact that he's being milked for promo purposes without giving any indication that he will be in this film, nothing aside from rocks trembling has given us fans any indication he's in the film, but we get this, concession items with reused Superman images from previous movies, because of course, how can you promote JL without Superman...but thats something that should have been thought over before the events of the last film, keep the stories consistent, its a connected world of super heroes, if studios actually kept their head in stories rather than money ploys then maybe we would actually get a decent film for a change

Simple answer. This is Justice League merchandise and you can't have a Justice league without Superman. Especially if they are selling official Justice League merchandise. Think back to the first reveal, Superman was dead but he was still in the poster. Afterwards it was everyone but Clark and that was mostly because of film promotion. It's like if they sold the official toys in a league pack but excluded Superman. No they're putting Superman in it because he's League, albeit he's in his BvS suit. Wouldn't be right to sell fans official League stuff with no Kal on it. By that point it's Batman and the Outsiders.

Once again, *YOUR* opinion....and Yes, it has been done with other characters before BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT DCEU's CHARACTERS, not any other franchise. Don't pivot to any other one because it does not explain anything, LOTR and POTC have nothing to do with what we are talking about.

Of course they do. Both of those movies also featured a major character dying and then being advertised in the promo materials and trailers (we haven't even reached that point yet and here you are complaining).
But what those two movies didn't tease was the dead character's return in the same movie.
I don't understand WHY you think Superman shouldn't be in these pics if everyone knows he'll be in the movie. It's not like they're spoiling how he'll return or showing some footage.

Have you read anything I wrote? Seriously? I don't have an issue with him being in the movie, I actually prefer him in the film, BUT he was killed, yes he will be resurrected but he is still dead to the audience as of BVS, marketing him on promos is in my opinion: Cheap, Inconsistent, and Possibly misleading to its audience. We cannot say "everyone knows he'll be in the movie" because like you said "we haven't reacted that point yet". I'm not complaining, I am voicing my opinion, I didn't know it was a sin to do so. I am a fan just like everyone else is on this thread, and I have grown to love the character of Superman with all his good and bad stories, but that doesn't mean that just because I'm a fan, I have to kiss the ass of those who don't know how to properly market a franchise, Just because you love a character or franchise does not mean you have to fall in line with all of their decisions, especially after the horrible storylines they've given the audience thus far.
Just because you're stating your opinion doesn't mean you're also not whining and complaining, and repeating the same stuff over and over again.

They did the same with Sparrow and the promotion of the third film after his "death" and i don't remember a problem with that. The situation what's basically the same. I hope they don't show anything related to the movie and his coming back, but I don't think that the appearance of the head of the JL in promotion like this is anything but bad
Its bad when that character has been dead with no explanation of his return, remember DCEU has not established its film world yet, they have their animated down packed but Film...not so much, all these characters are being spearheaded into films to please fans but rushed to the point that they do not make sense with each other, even Man of Steel to BvS to Suicide Squad had its inconsistencies, which in some plots would make sense but not when its intricate to its main characters stories trying to be told, this is the problem of starting from the middle and trying to catch up to others
But we're gonna get the explanation of his return in the film. You're making it seems as if he's gonna be alive at the beginning of the end, and the film's not gonna explain why.
Also, Cavil was shown in costume during the wrap-up video of the JL filming.

well, I don't know if you have, but I've seen tje new one and for me it was quite good. Yes, it lacks compared to the first two, but it completely washed tje bad taste of the last one and it was a fun ride.

I agree, it would be a true "injustice" (I see what you did there lol) to not have Supes in the movie, but keep it consistent with your previous storylines, thats all I ask, so far there has been no consistency in the DCEU, nothing. I would have been ok with this promo if Supes was hidden from it to keep it as an added element to the plot of the movie, but it seems to be a running trend for DCEU to do this. The catch up game isn't working for them.
I would have no problem if it was used as a Easter egg or even hinted at in a promo or even give little nods here and there, because it would be part of the story being given to the audience, but to shoehorn him into a promo art/selling points for marketing purposes is just cheap marketing on their end. I hope he is in the film, I really do, but again it just shows inconsistency within the studios

Some of these are pretty funky looking. A lot of the individual poses are from previous marketing material but rearranged with some awkward photoshopping. Oh well, whadya expect from concession items?
Also, looking at the top of that cup lid, we now know why they decided to put a star in the middle of the JL.
