“We’ve never really seen anything from this guy before, so it’s fun to have a level playing field,” Momoa said about Aquaman. “There aren’t like four Aquamans before me. I get to set the tone for it.”

The GQ article mentions that Momoa is taking his wife and kids to Australia with him for the six month Aquaman shoot. The cameras are expected to start rolling in the next week or two.
