The LEGO Batman Movie was released exactly two months ago today on February 10th, and over the weekend the movie crossed the $300 million mark worldwide.
That's a healthy return on the movie's reported $80 million budget, but it's less than the $469 million that The LEGO Movie made in 2014.
We should be hearing some news about The LEGO Batman Movie soon. It's expected to hit Digital HD and Blu-ray next month.

Well done. More than anything the proliferation of "Lego Batman/Justice League" movies for "free" on Netflix likely kept this one from matching the heights of the more unique Lego movie
Lego Matches Malone
Pretty solid numbers but I thought it would make even more than The LEGO Movie. I wonder how Ninjago will do later this year... I expected the Blu-ray for LEGO Batman to be released in June, but now that I think of it, WB already has Wonder Woman coming out in June so May is probably a much better time for LEGO Batman to be released. Can't wait to pick it up and watch it again!
Blu-ray is a must have... for easter eggs, lol.
If you account for marketing and the theater cuts, that's not very good, in fact it's barely making money...
Even if the theatre took in about 1/3 of that money (which is what they usually make)
You are looking at about 200 million dollars
-80 million budget (seems really low for animated movies)
-40 marketing (ballpark estimate)
= 80 million dollar profit
Plus lego toy deals, promotions, etc...
This movie was good for WB overall. But not a slam dunk.
What happened? It had incredible word of mouth, Batman and a kickass Lego movie before it, honestly expecting at least as much as The Lego Movie.

No one can match our father Uncle Rukus (no relation). But your right, Lego Batman got pirated a lot.
Still we're getting a Rightwing film because of it.
I hope we get more Batman movies and more Power Rangers movies!
Marvel movies are a given because of how good they are.
Power Rangers was amazing.
Really impressed with Power Rangers and Lego Batman. You could see that the directors loved those franchises growing up.

Sh*t movies like Sing and Boss Baby made more Money than Lego Batman movie. Thanks to Asia. They are not watching the movie because the animation style is different.
Not just Asia. Sing made more than Lego Batman pretty much everywhere...
It featured the whole JLA and had tie-ins to the Potter universe but still couln´t break a billion.
