Two new images from Wonder Woman have hit the web today. I'm not sure where these originally came from, but I found them both on a Tumblr fansite.
The first image gives us a great look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. The second shows the two at dinner with Saïd Taghmaoui, who says he's playing a hero. Check out both new Wonder Woman images in the gallery below.

The CGI is to be expected. Not every film is gonna be like Deadpool or Logan.
I understand that, but I see it as something that we'll have to accept when it comes to these big spectacle CBMs. We're gonna see this in Infinity War. We may see this in the next X-Men film. I'm fine with all of this because I know that practical effects are gonna be suitable for everything.
I think that even if the DD fight was in broad daylight and, we would still have people complaining about "CGI mess".

Yeah... They gave away the whole first act in the trailer but, other than that, it looked good to me.
First act? What, did you only watch the first 30 seconds? That trailer was worst then BvS final trailer when it comes to revealing everything and the movie should be called Tony Stank Homecoming since it looks like it's another Iron Man movie.
Other than the first act ending with Peter losing his suit, after the boat incident, you dont know all that much of how this movie will play out. BvS didn't reveal everything either and this isn't an Iron Man movie, you're exaggerating.
Uhmm... Yeanooo, I know that after losing the suit he goes back to his old costume and takes on Vulture on his own proving to himself that "Spider-Man" is more than just a costume, beats the bad guy proves Tony wrong and then gets the suit back and moves on two the sequel. But hey discernment may not be a gift you have. And yes BvS final trailer broke down all three acts perfectly, there was zero surprises at the end. The only people that weren't aware that Supes would die are those who do not know who Doomsday is, it was crystal clear. Civil War was supposed to be a CA movie and yet it ended up being another IM movie and this trailer is giving Tony just as much lines and time as PP and that's lame, especially since the Spider-Man I grew up with was never in need of Tony Stanks help to become the awesome superhero he is. If anything its Peter Parker who can teach Iron Drunk how to be a real hero.
Okay, you can predict how a Marvel movie ends, whoopty-doo, no one needs to see this trailer to know any of that though. I didn't know you grew up with a Spider-Man who was in a shared-universe... Wow!!!! Obviously this isn't the Spider-Man you grew up with, characters change, it's time you joined everyone else in the present.
You think an important/popular character that has recently been rebooted into this shared-universe(Marvel's biggest risk since The Avengers) is going to waltz into the MCU without having some kind of introduction with another already established character? Iron Man makes complete sense being in this movie, especially because Marvel are responding to peoples constant bitching and moaning when they question where other characters are in other solo movies. And you're just guessing at how much Tony's involvement is, same as the people who complain that Superman is only getting 15 minutes in Justice League.
Civil War can't be just a Captain America movie, it just can't. The name alone should tell you that it wasn't supposed to be. Only those who dont know anything about Civil War wouldn't know this movie ceased to be a Captain America movie when it was called Civil War.
The best parts of a movie, especially superhero movies, is the journey the character takes to certain narrative points. Every trailer for every movie shows does this. The first trailer for Civil War showed us Bucky and Cap fighting Tony - basically the last scene, did you know how they'd get there? No you didn't. You knew nothing of Tony's parents and who killed them. Similarly, beyond that one's a bad guy and one's a good guy, you know nothing of what will force Spidey's face-off with Vulture and even if he'll still want to be an Avenger by the end of it.
You're guessing the less important bits, the things they want you to know and figure out. The best parts are in the getting to there and you know nothing of that.

maybe they gave away a lot but the movie still looked promissing. I personally like spidey and maybe the hulk most of the marvel universe characters.

To be fair - he did cast Gal Gadot to be Wonder Woman, to at least set up her own film.

Well I'm a DC fan and I'm grateful to him for giving us the best Superman movie ever made, for giving us Batman and Superman (amazing movie....masterpiece) on the same screen for the first time ever and for giving JL.

Zack has made mistakes but he's done good as well.
What's the point of a good cast if the movies are poorly received?
Zack Snyder has done more harm than good to the DC brand.
Poorly received by who? I could care less about what the critics say. There are plenty of people that loved MOS and consider it their favorite Superman movie. There's plenty of people who loved BvS UE (Zack's true version) it's not all one sided. You only have a subjective opinion like everyone else. It's a wasteful argument really, because of Zack there will be a WW movie, JL movie, Aquaman movie, a MOS sequel and another Batfleck film so to me Zack has done a lot more good because this cast will now get their own movies or sequels because of him and no one can take that away from Zack. Like I said, he's made mistakes but his decisions have done more good then bad. The DCEU isn't going anywhere and will continue to evolve and progress with other directors in it's future.

At least Zack was the one with the balls to try! None of this happens without Zack stepping up to the plate. He set the stage and did all the initial heavy lifting, and that can now bring in a lot more extremely talented people going forward.
What the fuck? This argument still? He did not invent these properties! He was just the director WB hired to do this. Without him, someone else would have made MoS and jump started this universe (and maybe would have been much better received and spawned better movies than those we've gotten so far). If anything, Nolan is the one that's the most responsible for this. He was the one who brought Snyder along (well, fuck Nolan for that decision), he was the one producing and writing MoS's story, and he was the one who brought the DC cinematic brand (and Batman) from the fucking dead.
Where did I say he invented these properties? The best decisions in this universe have been the casting and that's all zack. He has made the casting for these heroes I remember the sh!t storm that was the internet whe he cast Ben Affleck as Batman and he was right while millions were wrong! Same thing with Gal and Momoa. I don't make arguments on maybe's and if's, those are the tools of the mentally weak. The truth is Zack has made divisive films and has made movies that some have loved and others have hated, welcome to the world of art. I stand by the fact that he has done some great things in the DCEU along with mistakes.
Well, controversial casting is nothing new, and plenty of people were excited by the possibilities of Affleck as Batman (including those who saw immediately through the fact that WB wanted Affleck to direct his Batman movies, due to his increasing reputation as a director and the fact that he basically is WB exclusive, at least for the time being). Casting is not just on the director as well, as casting directors are very responsible for some of these decisions, and frankly, it's not like Cavill or Gadot are the most brilliant decisions ever, at least from what we've seen. Your argument was that he gave us all this, and that's not true at all. This would have been made with or without him, and maybe we'd have better films, and better decisions if he had not been chosen. It's not just a matter of being hated and loved as any art made. It's the fact that these are simply not good movies, and basically had they not have these characters in them, you'd definitely see many less supporters of these films, had it been just a usual Snyder joint. Love sometimes comes attached to these characters, no matter the quality of the film. And truth is, Snyder is really a bad choice to direct these properties. He has very little understanding of pacing and storytelling, and he is on record as saying he finds these heroes boring. There's no conspiracy against DC. The media doesn't want these properties to fail (at least not most). People want good movies. Maybe, just maybe, the DCEU has simply failed to provide.
Once again all you have is maybe's... "these are not good movies" is an opinion and not a fact. And Zack knows pacing, both BvS UE and The Watchmen UE are good examples along with 300 and Dawn of The Dead. You have zero evidence that someone else would have done better, you only have a speculative opinion. Could it have been better? Yes but it's definitely not the disaster some like to claim. 2.3 billion 3 movies in doesn't happen without people who like it.

You can have an opinion, and I'll tell you: I love Man of Steel. I don't really consider it a good movie, but I fucking love it to death. But I can aknowledge it's many many flaws that prevent it from being an actual good movie. It's not bad, but not good either. There are standards for which you can actually qualify movies. Also, those Ultimate Editions don't have pacing issues? So you're telling me that cramming useless dream sequences that add nothing to the movie at hand isn't a pacing issue? Or forcing in Justice League cameos with Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman? I'm sorry, but not aknowledging something doesn't mean it's not there.
Not when it comes to art, art is subjective not objective. How do you not know this? I can find flaws in every movie that has ever been made if that was my goal but I don't judge art by flaws, that's not why I watch film and a flaw to you may not be a flaw to me E.G the Flash cameo was one of my favorite scenes in BvS and there are lots of people who feel the same. You think The Watchmen has pacing issues and yet Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange director) calls it a masterwork! Are you more qualified then him when it comes to directing films? Should his opinion have higher value then yours because of his knowledge or does your opinion have equal value because that's all that it is? I've already acknowledged that Zack has made mistakes but you're obviously not listening.

You mistakenly infer that if X (Zack Snyder) causes Y (the DCEU), an absence of X will therefore prevent Y from happening. That’s logically false.

You might not be aware of this but casting plays a huge role on an individual film and its financial success and if I'm not interested in the actors involved I don't bother to watch it in the theaters like most people.

Praising a director for casting decisions is like praising a workman for selecting good tools - it's important, but you would think the finished product would be the first focus of praise. His films, not his casting.

Wrong, the director is the artistic force, he has his casting team, but he's the architect, especially Zack that build this entire cast, they bring their ideas to Zack, and he says yes, or no.
The 'workman selecting a good tool' is production designer, art director, costume designer, etc.. they bring their ideas to Zack, and he says yes, or no.
All directors casts their own actors if they can, there are cases that they don’t, like sequels, or like with shared universes, like Patty Jenkins feeling apprehensive by not casting her own WW at first, and then falling in love with the casting, a casting done by Snyder.
Errr, I think you've misunderstood the reason why I gave the analogy.
It wasn’t to give a direct and identical comparison between the two trades. The point was that if you want to praise a director, you want to praise their films first. Praising their casting choices (important as they are) is tertiary to the key issue that they should be praised for - their film oeuvre.
Besides, a director has just as much relationship to the finished product as a workman to their finished product. That's the point - you focus on what's key.

That’s NOT what I’m saying. Of course Snyder is assessed on lots of things, including casting. But how many directors are praised principally for casting over their films? When rating the best filmmakers, how often do we focus only on their casting at the expense of their films? Exactly. The fact that a director is mentioned for his casting and not his films speaks volumes.

I'm not attacking anyone's tastes. It's called having an opinion, from someone whose been a Batman fan longer than most people here have been alive (28 years) . I'm concerned about the DCEU trajectory, concerned about Snyder's divisive, critically received films, and I expect better from WB .
Why is it always pro-Snyder/pro-BvS fans that complain about a relatively small group of posters, never the other way round? I spend most of my time having to defend the simple right to have an opinion (that's grounded in reality). Have a look on this thread on the maddening, deranged, epic meltdown some have because they lack the emotional intelligence to deal with reality. It's hysterical.
I don't tell those whose opinions I don't like to stop giving opinions. And neither should you. Be more openminded and allow opinions to be challenged, especially if they're true.
Im open to debate and open my mind to new views, but it is within my philosophy to allow people to come to their own conclusions on their own time, watching the movies as many times as they need, sometimes a movie seems bad first, and after repeated views you change your mind on certain aspects, or maybe the whole movie, i don’t feel is productive to engage on the ones that seem to have a clear position on a movie, if they think is great, let them realize on their own time.

No-one is more vigorous in defending the RIGHT to express one’s views on here than me, because more often than not I’m the one told not to express an opinion. I never ram down my opinions, but I argue them robustly, and it’s important you and others understand the difference.
Constructive criticisms are just as valid as gushing praise, and you shouldn’t try to discourage anyone from giving their point of view.
That analogy is your opinion and your opinion means nothing to me. I didn't miss anything, most movies fail financially not because of story but because of lack of charisma/star power and the DCEU has been financially successful primarily because people want to see these actors in those specific roles. Aquaman never excited me until I saw Momoa holding that trident, you could have put any white dude with blonde hair out there and it wouldn't have mattered to me. Most of the movies I watch in the theaters are predicated on the actors not the story so you're the one missing my point, not me. Don't infer your belief system on what a proper director hierarchy of evaluation should be. My process is obviously very different from yours and that's fine, I really don't care.

Irrelevant. No-one is talking about films failing financially, we’re talking about the fact that you praised Snyder’s casting, NOT his films, because his films are crap. His films are considered too divisive and poor by moviegoers and critics alike. Filmmakers will be known first and foremost for the quality of their film oeuvre, not their casting, not even how much money they made. Snyder’s failed legacy is set in stone, and you proved that by not including his films for reasons why we should be grateful! That speaks volumes.
So I guess I should be thanking you for showing everyone in your own words that Snyder’s films shouldn’t be praised over his casting!

My next question was going to be "where is this cow in BvS and why does it have to be flexible".
Folks who complain about that clearly haven’t found real reasons and they have to settle with this nonsense..
Mr. Wilkinson, the master of DCEU costume design said that the suits always evolve with improvements, his BvS cowl was in his words "a technological wonder" in terms of different fabrics and ways to make the cowl flexible, this one is clearly a visual improvement but im sure they improved the flexibility as well.
You actually see his neck move in the tactical suit.
Yes, I have no fear for the tactical suit but we have to agree the normal suit looks too stiff

From the few scenes we've got we cannot really judge on 'how' flexible it is, we know they achieved flexibility in BvS, but people complained because the rubber struggled to accompany the neck, and it looked off, now, not only the cowl looks insanely badass (if i thought BvS looked like the comic brought to life, now i disagree and call this one the best cowl, so far) but we could be seeing the answer to an undeniable problem (in my opinion): the cowl as depicted in comics and animated shows is impossible to recreate fully in the 'movie's real world', in the comics its like Spidey's, spandex like, movie Batman wears a helmet cowl shaped, has to be leather-ish looking to give this rough feel, and make the neck muscular (nobody has that huge Batman neck, maybe body-builders), maybe costume department realized that unless the stunts demands it, in order to keep the shape the best way is to move the neck a bit less.. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
