Aquaman is scheduled to begin shooting in Australia around May, and star Amber Heard is hard at working training to get ready for the role.
Heard shared a photo on Instagram this afternoon in workout gear with a sword and captioned it "#Aquaman".
Before Aquaman hits theaters in December 2018, fans will be able to see Heard in Justice League this November. She made a brief appearance in the trailer that just came out last weekend. You can check it out around the 1:54 mark below.

She still can be in future movies
Would be fun to see how Snyder and Wilkinson would design her look. They need to prevent her from looking like a winged Wonder Woman. Then again, Mera does look different enough compared to Wonder Woman, which I dig.
Also, if GL and Hawkgirl get to be in JL2, that'd mean that the only ones who aren't airborne of the league are Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the Flash. Batman too if he isn't in one of his airborne vehicles. Supes, Cyborg and GL are the only ones to be able to do combat in space lol, that would be a sight to behold, especially when shot with IMAX
I think she'll be there in JL2.
We can give time for Hawkgirl to grow and come in with enough focus. That way her appearance won't feel crammed into the storyline.
Thankfully she is on the live action tv DC show, so that will get more people interested in her when she makes her first feature film appearance.

In both the comics and the animation, yes. I believe as an extended member (for the comics), not for the animated series.
With that being said, the film that is coming up is the beginning for the foundation of the Justice League, and I am sure DC/WB will explore Hawkgirl, along with other awesome characters we're waiting to see on screen (would want to see other characters too, I know it will take some time though).
Amber looks gorgeous as Mera, with Margot as Harley, Gadot as WW, Amy as Lois, that's a lot of beauties in DCEU; just bring Daddario to play Zatanna and I could die happy as a DC fan. Everything would be perfect then.
And yes, Chastain as Ivy and Eva Green as Catwomen. OMG!!!
I think in Van Helsing she even uses a hand crossbow or maybe Underworld

I love Heard and the look of Mera. Can't wait to see her in Justice League and of course Aquaman next year! I think regular scenes underwater are going to be a sight to behold already, I mean just look at this!

Swordfighting isn´t a Mera comic trope, as she is a magician and can control water. Arthur himself is actually one of the less "skilled" warriors of the principal cast, as he is lacking the gift for magic his bother or Tempest have. Yep, grown up (OG) Aqualad can kick his ass!

I thought the same thing. I can't believe that a studio could spend $250 million on a movie like BvS. It was never a 'crowd pleaser' movie ironic for a movie that had Batman and Superman and Wonder Women. Most filmmakers would try to make such movies as safe as possible. So even when Snyder fails, it's not exactly a total loss, because he actually tries something.

I love to see all of them learning to handle the weapons, training to be super hot in the costumes, and being able to do as much stunts as they can, respect for the effort.

We'll see. I'm gonna go see it because Spider-Man is my #2 favorite CB character (right behind Batman, naturally). To become my favorite Spider-Man movie, it has to be better than Spider-Man 2. And that's a difficult bar to clear.
to be a big Spidey fan. Not much anymore. Still like him a lot though. Spider-Man 2 is among the best ever CBMs. Going by the trailers, I don't expect this be anywhere close to it.

Yeah, I also think the trailer spoiled the entire movie. Way more than BvS, and I'm glad people caught on to that.....I wish Fox could make a Spiderman movie. I will see it anyway just for support because I loved my Spiderman comics growing up that's for sure.
I also wish Fox were making a Spider-Man movie. Even before Sony and Marvel made plans to link the two properties, I always and still would rather love to see Spider-Man in a movie with the Fantastic Four, Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men. Seems more appropriate to me.
After Justice League, that is my dream!!......that mash up were my favorite comics of all time. I really wasn't into any of the avengers MCU characters growing up, my favorite Marvel characters were Spider-Man (including Venom), Fantastic Four, Wolverine, and Silver Surfer, and of course most of the X-Men. If Fox can bring these properties together, it would be heaven on earth.

I knew Homecoming was not going to be great. First trailer have a vibe of some sort of Disney Channel level tv show. I'm not trolling, I wanted to watch it but I will skip that one. Thor depends on the trailers because 1/2 were a let down.
I liked it. I actually will probably see it now in the theater after seeing this trailer. After the first one, I was ready to pass. It probably did spoil some but it's not something that I'm needing to watch 100 more times. I'll probably forget most of it by the time I see it so that will be helpful.
I love Tom Holland and the rest of the young cast, has a real great John Hughes influence to it but everything about Spider-Man, I'm kinda bored by. Been there, done that kinda stuff. I'm honestly not trying to find something wrong with the movie, I really do want to enjoy this new movie and hope I will but for now, both trailers are selling me a Peter Parker story that I'm really interested in and a Spider-Man story that I'm really not interested in at all.
Yeah, Michael Keaton looks great, really hoping they don't dumb down the villain though.
Too bad they didn't go with a performer who's more... stable. I hope WB doesn't regret hiring Heard.
