'Beauty and the Beast' breaks 'Batman v Superman' box office record

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set a March box office record last year when the movie opened with a huge $166.1 million in North America. Unfortunately, this weekend that record has been broken.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast made $170 million this weekend, setting a new March box office record.

The remake is really good. Maybe a bit long but all the important bits work and the Oscar winning soundtrack is redone well. The best Disney remake so far. The cinematic cut of BvS and B&B are about neck and neck in terms of quality too. 8,5/10
PS: Watch Kong. It looks and feels like a Snyder movie (Larry Fong did the cinematography). Best film of the year so far, as they put every cent on screen.
