Rumor: Ben Affleck to promote 'Justice League' at CinemaCon this month

CinemaCon is a yearly trade show that takes place in Las Vegas where the movie studios put on presentations for movie theater owners about the big movies they have coming out. Last year the entire cast of Suicide Squad attended the event, and this year it sounds like Warner Bros. is sending the cast of Justice League!

Industry reporter Jeff Sneider took to Twitter to announce that he's heard that Batman himself, Ben Affleck, will be in Las Vegas at CinemaCon later this month to promote Justice League. I doubt that Warner Bros. would send Batman alone, so if this is true, expect a lot of the Justice League cast to be there with him.

CinemaCon takes place March 27-30th this year, and Warner Bros. is scheduled to present on Wednesday, March 29th. If Ben Affleck does attend, we should get some news about Justice League and updates on The Batman. Stay tuned to Batman News for more.

It's weird because Ben Affleck and Amy Adams were at CinemaCon 2016, where they revealed footage of SUICIDE SQUAD and JUSTICE LEAGUE. If they're doing it again they must be worried about JL not getting enough showtime in theaters between THOR and STAR WARS.
But yeah, there's a precedent for big movies being teased at CinemaCon:
CinemaCon 2012 teased TDKR and THE HOBBIT.
CinemaCon 2013 teased THE WOLVERINE.
CinemaCon 2014 teased GODZILLA, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and X-MEN.
CinemaCon 2015 teased THE REVENANT and THE MARTIAN.

  Well so long as JL doesnt get horrible reviews like BvS did with critics constantly stressing how you should not go to see the movie and its a waste of your time and money, it will be fine I think. Ya its unfortunate that DIsney has kind of screwed a lot of people with their yearly December Star Wars releases(Disney REALLY annoys me sometimes), but I think there is enough time in between JL and star wars for JL to make the majority of its profit. Even with Star Wars there, this is the "JUstice League" we are talking about. People are going to find a way to see both. Again, providing that JL does not get pounded by critics which...*sigh*...all we can really do is pray at this point.

  Just as much as you'll never learn that BvS was divisive, meaning that there are fellow human beings out there, fans and non-fans, who enjoyed the movie & appreciate Snyder. Even some initial haters ended up enjoying the Ultimate Cut. The hype will always be there, whether you like it or not.

    If you think any DCEU movie will ever reach half the hype BvS had, then you are delusional. Sorry, but it is true. BvS killed that possiblity, and Suicide Squad, burried it under 15km of ground. Of course there's hype, but not like BvS, and never again. BvS was one of the most hyped movies in the history of cinema. It was largely a disappointment, a critical flop, and underperformed at the box office, making WB very nervous in the process.

The long shelved original cut is now seeing the light of day, with the toon film line abandoning the PG-13 restriction. Making a sequel should take propriety though. It was planned and is build up, but early sales were seen as too soft by the higher ups. The films is a hit though, due to long legs. Support this on, key? 8,5/10

What about DKR bwt? They censored the film (from Fatman on Batman), but who knows at which stage.

      Any hack filmmaker could "usher" batman in (remember when Joel Schumacher did it?). And wonder woman, really. This would be done with or without the dude. And costumes are a part of the job of the costume designer. The director has a say on them, but it's not a credit for Snyder alone. Best costumes ever is also not really a fact there.
