Ryan Reynolds spoofs Superman in 'Deadpool 2' teaser video

Fans who go to see Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine movie, Logan, this weekend will be treated to funny Deadpool 2 teaser video. Ryan Reynolds isn't afraid to poke fun at anyone or anything, and Superman is his latest target in this new video.

In the video above, we see Wade Wilson walking down the street as he comes across a mugging in an alley. Then, in true Superman fashion, he runs towards a phone booth so he can change into his Deadpool costume, and he does this to John Williams' classic Superman theme song. Unfortunately, Deadpool isn't as graceful as Clark Kent.

I hope we get more DC references in the movie. I seriously can't wait for this movie. The fact that Tim Miller isn't directing worries me a little but hopefully, it'll be as good as the first one.

So where are they? I find it funny that you're always complaining about people that are negative in regards to the DCEU instead of overly positive and supportive but you are never positive as well.       There has been plenty of petty anti-Cavill behavior over the last 4 years to justify this joke, however. Anecdotally citing this particular article's thankfully tame comment section during a spell of relatively positive news certainly doesn't outright prove the contrary.
      On Batman-news in particular, I've noticed trolling quieting since the Matt Reeves announcement, but that doesn't mean it never happens or hasn't previously happened with more frequency.
      But just because we don't see them here doesn't mean they aren't somewhere else on the net on websites with differently slanted communities.
      Bashing Cavill's Supes was very trendy when BvS and MoS both came out, and while it hasn't been relevant for a while, it still sneaks back in at times when the right news article comes along as ammunition.
      Radar, by calling it out ahead of time (and all the time), discourages troll behavior to an extent. It gradually raises this sense of, 'We've had enough of the bullying, so save your breath'. I would call that productive.
      If you're not a troll, I see no need to be offended by him saying something like this.

      I am a huge fan of DC's. i grew up seeing all of their superheroes, while i only knew of Thor and Hulk from Marvel. DCEU is an offense to any fan of DC comics... Or it should be, not only because of the "apply the gritty to all of them no matter what", but because of horrible story telling (there isn't one really), editing, somewhat shake camera work, bad CGI, etc, etc. However, the last to blame are the actors involved in it. How can we judge if they are good or bad when they say 4-5 entire lines in a 2h30min film such as Cavill in MoS or BvS. There are no inteligent conversation in any of these films regarding Cavill (and I didn't dare give my money to DC for SS)

Lol...another major hit for Deadpool. Anyways, not my kind of movie, but I can see why most people like it and I appreciate that it stands out from other comicbook movies, for it gives the genre diversity, which I think in return is why people will never get bored with comicbook movies. For all the DCEU, Marvel/Disney, and Marvel/Fox fans out there, despite our disagreements, lets take a moment and truly appreciate the golden era of comicbook movies, it's truly a special moment we're living right now, and we should never forget that.

Just like comics have a noticeable split between teen and adult stories, some filmmakers seem to be doing the same thing (which I am ALL FOR). Snyder did it with a distinct shift in tone and themes; Deadpool did it with a distinct shift in graphic humor; and Logan has done it with a distinct shift in scope and style. Don't get me wrong, I love the more comic booky movies too, because they're still fun for me; but I'm really diggin' the branch-off into more adult-oriented superhero movie content and hope that it continues alongside the other fun stuff.

    I feel like WB would be much more inclined to tackle an R rating than Disney because they're the first to have villain-focused movies. But Disney may choose to use one of their smaller studios to release something R-rated. I'd love for WB to tap into Vertigo and for Disney to try starting something like Marvel's Max stories.

  I got the "it's going to be s**t" moment when the bats levitated Bruce in the cave. Really? Really? Really? From that moment on it only went down hill. The terraforming machines where left in the middle of the Indic Ocean and the fortress in the middle of the city. I mean. They say DCEU is real... and those things weren't Area 51'd by the USA gov, let alone any other gov in the world? Every time I think of MoS and BvS I get mad. I don't understand the war of the comics. We comics fan deserve to have these comics going strong. I want all of my superheroes to have at least decent films and DCEU is just one big crap fest.

    for me, it was when Bruce came to Metropolis to make a phonecall (because you have to be in the same city to call anyone!) to tell his people to get out! it's like the only way we'd know Bruce is 'smart' is by making everyone else stupid as f*ck.
    and why didn't Superman claim those alien technology as his own? no one could've stopped him! instead of that talk show montage, we could have all those grown up conversation in an UN assembly, (it was a freaking alien invasion!) and Superman could have some dialogues and screentime to make his case too, instead of that Senate hearing, which was one-sided like everything else in that movie.

Deadpool is one of my favorite characters in comics - movie not so much.
I mean, yeah, with the budget they had, and all problems making it in the first place, it turned out to be great. But I think there were better stories (and jokes) to tell.
Extremely happy for the sequel, though. And bigger budget.

I wish didn't know that there was a Deadpool teaser before the film when I watched it (not you Batman-news). But it was great nonetheless. My whole theater was SUPER into Logan and the scene it was a great experience. This dude next to me seriously lost his shit at some scenes, it made it even better.

'Superman', the phone booth suit up, and that music are 'pop culture canon', and Deadpool fits like a glove (his idiosyncrasy is all about cultural reference) mocking the impossibility of the stunt (unless you are Superman), this one feels like a little homage, and another very funny Deadpool moment, not that original i must say, but he had to do it at some point, he's Deadpool.

  I kind of liked that they've hard wired us to stay through the credits for things now. Since it gives us a chance to look at some of the names of the people credited on the film. Those people get a bit of extra spotlight a little more so than they use to. Sometimes my friends and I will just hang back to discuss a bit or listen to score playing.

  Love my post-credit scene. I wished that the PCS after Logan was of claws getting out of that rock. I love Hugh Jackman. As someone said he is the Chris Reeve (Superman) or Michele Pfeiffer (catwoman) of this generation. Hard to follow. But I want Wolverine back. Marvel is way better at casting people. For me, the only misses in this regard were Natalie Portman (great, but she is no Jane Foster) and Hale Berry (as Stoem.... And she was also wrong for Catwoman). When they decide to bring him back, i'm sure they will cast someone carefully even to avoid what happened with Brandon Routh.

It will be hard to life up to the profitability but the script and scope were lacking a bit. DP is obviously one of the best 2016 films but the experience demolishes on 2nd viewing.
What i want to see is the X-force spin-off sequel with X-23 on it. Jackman should consider his often delayed retirement for that one.

Deadpool doesn't really fit anywhere besides his own movies, and MAYBE X-Force. In a normal xmen movie, he'd be an awful inclusion as well. He'd be awful in anything that isn't R-rated, so any kind of shared universe isn't really fit for his character.

I've enjoyed them so far, but I feel like I'm getting too 'used to them' or something... like the shininess is wearing off. It's hard to explain.
Right now, it's just kinda, 'Guardians 2 looks like it'll be fun, definitely high production value, but... then what?'
I've been a die-hard Spidey fan my whole life, yet I'm only mildly excited about Homecoming. Tom Holland was great in Civil War, his costume is rad -- and dude, MICHAEL KEATON. Look at my avatar. Please, explain to me why I'm not more psyched for this. lol
I guess part of it is that I don't feel any sense of the point of the movie other than to have Spidey in the MCU. They haven't thrown out any character arcs or story points that are gripping me other than Tony and Pete being in a nephew/uncle style relationship, which is neat.
Maybe it's just fatigue... or, maybe it's more like I feel Marvel have covered most of the stuff I was excited to see them cover in movie form.

  Baby Groot turned me off from GoTG 2. I know that he'll be an adorable character, but I kept shaking my head whenever he showed up in the trailers.
  And with Homecoming, I'm curious to see how they can make Vulture dangerous enough for Iron Man to have to help Spidey, but at the same time I'm getting that feeling that it's not gonna try to take the story seriously.

  Anyways, point is, I'm also not too terribly excited for it. But I think it's because I'm all grown up and can't really relate to a high-schooling Peter Parker. If "Homecoming" was coming out and I was my 12-year-old self, I would be shitting all over myself with excitement. So, I'm really looking forward to seeing it because it looks like a perfect movie adaptation of Spider-Man, in my opinion (I'm not too terribly fond of the other iterations), but I'm actually more excited for kids to have a young Spidey to look up to. I really like the John Hughes approach that they seem to be going with this time around; makes me really nostalgic but also happy that kids will have the same sorta feeling I had when I was a kid.

Lionsgate funded a good take on the character but he is awful in Ultimate Spider-man. To think that there was a time when Nolan North was the definitive tale on Wade:

The definitive (90s) run on the character is PG-13, so i don´t think that an R is needed to make a good DP film. Not that there is anything wrong with the Fox version, a watered down version of that wouldn´t even work. The MCU´s James Gunn could still make a good general audience DP film.

Well that depends. I've read plenty comics where yes he killed, but still no full frontal sex and had pg13 profanity with R words censored, which he pointed out. Tons of 4th wall breaking. In fact I dare say that's all I've ever seen. Can't remember any f bombs or hardcore sex scenes. I have been told they're out there. Probably more now than before, which means soon my point will be moot. Now I have NOT played the games. Im guessing they're closer to the movie. And basically, the movie has replaced anything else as any kind of standard on Deadpool anyway. But I will say this, as a fan of gotg, if Deadpool were on that level, it'd be closer to the comics. Not arguing just discussing. When I watched Deadpool I edited all but the violence. In other words, it was half an hour shorter! 30 minutes! 15 minutes, times two! Made zero sense lol!

Disney only does the risky stuff on Netflix. It's paid off very well for them (Daredevil is especially awesome) but Deadpool is meant for the big screen.

I just thank goodness they are destroying Superman without tarnishing his true theme song, which by the way they won't use for the said hero. Actually, they are not even calling him by the real name thank good. Superman of Reeve, Welling and even Routh is in way better league than MoS.

The fact that Ryan Reynolds only became a thing after he covered up all of his face is proof that he took a wrong career decision—he probably would've been a star voice-actor had he ventured into that field!

  I would lighten up if the joke were any good. I've just been to Logan and I didn't even sit through the credits for this—thank goodness they didn't play it before the film! If they wanted to make fun of Superman that badly they could've at least thought it through and come up with something that didn't contradict with the subject of the joke! Jokes don't have to be dumb.
  The second half of my comment is a genuine opinion which I thought of back when the first movie came out.

    It's Deadpool. It's simply a homage/joke. It isn't an insult, it isn't taking any kind of shot against DC. It's simply a parody of how old Superman's method of changing costumes would be if it were someone doing it with no super powers. The joke may not be funny to you, that's fine, but the way you acted all triggered definitely speaks volumes about the way you perceive these things.

      What's insulting is the joke itself, not the subject of it (not Superman or any DC character for that matter), which I honestly think I've made clear enough already but go ahead and stick to your first assumption.
      The only reason I made that comment was because I hated the first movie and was hoping the second one would turn out better, maybe with some original jokes this time around. But the teaser just said nope.
      Excuse me, I don't think triggered is what you think it does. My original comment is more laid-back than your average-comment to anything DC Films related on any given day. You've already spoken volumes about how you don't know most words you use, so there's that to consider.

      I haven't watched the Lego Batman. I'll wait for the home-release on that.
      The thing about this joke, numb-nuts, is that it doesn't just say Superman sucks, which probably would've been better.
      No, this is like saying, "Hey, imagine if a person without the Iron-Man suit tried to be Iron-Man! It's so hilarious! Why aren't you laughing with me?"
      That's how dumb this is and that's how dumb it is to laugh at it. As you can see it's tailor-made for you. Have fun.

You did nothing to explain how insulting it was, you simply used your comment to vent for a while.       How so? Deadpool has never, ever, been high brow comedy. It's supposed to be dumb and loud and crude. It's never been about subtlety. That's the main thing people are expecting, and what it sets out to do, it does very well. If anyone isn't understanding what they should here, it's definitely you. You can't really act all high and mighty if you think Deadpool fans want some kind of citizen kane out of these movies. Also, why the insults and rage? Now that's even more triggered than before, and it really makes you look so fucking pathetic. I'm not even trying to insult you here, mind you (not going through that again, especially since last time), but that's how this makes you look.
      And there you are, making ad hominem fallacies, because as always, you have no other means to discuss something with someone with a different point of view than you than to go all out with the insults and assumptions. It's bloody ridiculous, but funny as hell too. Either way, after Logan I can't really see any other super hero film this year being half as good, but damn am I really hoping Wonder Woman does well! I think so, i mean you can't have Batman without the Joker one way or another...and this new Joker has not had any screen time with the Leto's Joker, so I think we'll see him again. How else could they explain SS's joker in the universe. Going forward, Harley is going to be super popular, and she definitely going to have the Joker everywhere, so I guess they will. Just don't know how they will replace his current looks and acting, if at all.

I absolutely loved that the New 52 run of Batman only had a couple of major Joker stories spread throughout. And I thought they were sensational too.
I also hope he comes back. He deserves much more screen time.
