Concept artist Ed Natividad shared some of his work from Suicide Squad and once again we get to see what could have been.

Perhaps the most interesting reveal here is a scene between The Joker and Batman that never made the movie. We see The Joker just sitting in the Batmobile, waiting for Batman to return. In the movie we see Batman returning to an empty Batmobile with Harley Quinn, and perhaps early on The Joker was waiting for the both of them.

Next we get to see The Joker and Harley Quinn at a McDonald's drive-thru. This could have taken place before the Batmobile chase scene, and probably would've been pretty entertaining.

There's also concept art that shows The Joker emerging from his helicopter that Amanda Waller shot down, as well as him joining Enchantress to take on the Suicide Squad in the final act of the movie. This is where that footage of him from the trailers with the grenade as he yells "bye bye!" is from.

We also get to see concept art for The Scarecrow, hinting that he may have almost been a part of the Suicide Squad. Check out all the awesome new concept art in the gallery below.

    It really makes you wonder what kind of story points there were that got cut between concept and the final product. Like theres a lot that got filmed and cut out but imagine the stuff that was originally planned and got cu- OH MY GOD ITS SCARECROW!!! :O

        I don't mind the look too much but I'm not sure how it would look in actuality in live action haha. But I think its just awesome that they considered him :D

          They should take up the Arkham Knight design for consideration. Then I will take the character seriously. He should be the one exception where the design should NOT be comic accurate. That costume would fit better with him if it were the 1960s XD

        True. Also it's a shame Enchantress was the main villain all the way since the conception of this movie. Enchantress was easily the most cringeworthy part of the movie (which is saying a LOT)

          I admit the initial design is unique, and I really like some of the visuals surrounding her, like the cool "hand-transition" and the legitimately good jump-scares (a rarity in films nowadays, especially in CBMs). But she had zero character with rather juvenile motivations. And like you said, they dropped the ball. Turned her into a woman in a bikini doing a "wavy balloon-man" wiggle dance with a digitized voice and completely non-creative abilities. Oh and shitty dialogue.

      Never liked it. That's why I prefered Arkham Origins' Joker. He was EPIC!
      By smile I meant the mouth, not the red lipstick.

        Look at this. Ugly af. I love The Joker but everytime I saw this version (which was in all the Arkham games except for Origins), it made me wanna puke.
        I actually hoped for the DCEU, they'd go for Capullo's version.

          Arkham's Joker's (- Origins) mouth had that "by default" smile.
          Origins's Joker was perfect. Although I'm not a fan of the scares.

            It is by far the best Arkham game. WB did a way better job than Rocksteady.

            I agree, Rocksteady has better gameplay, puzzles and innovation
            WBGM has better story, characters and boss fights

            Arkham Origins is by far the best Arkham game
            Although I love them all

            Same i love Asylum and City a lot but Origins has the better story better boss fights yeah it feels the same as City and the grapnel boost doesn't make sense in the continuity but Origins is an amazing game and severely underrated

            PC was just as bad it got fixed eventually but yeah. Not as bad as Arkham Knight i like that game for what it is but damn WB Games needs to either pay more attention to the PC ports of their games or stop making the games for PC. Also wanted to add the Joker reveal gave me some serious chills the way they did it and yes it sucked having the Joker again but it does have Origins in the title of course Joker will be in it and probably the main villain

            Arkham Knight was the worst and I actually never had issues with Origins on PC. Must've been an issue with a hated manufacturer. I think at that time I had AMD + Nvidia combo.

            Yeah i think the only issue i had with Origins was a room i got stuck in but i watched a youtube video for a temp fix before it got patched and i remember the prison area dropped in fps quite a bit but everywhere else was fine

            It's funny i'm in a sort of a transition period seriously contemplating going all in with my PS4 for everything after getting burned by WB Games on PC. I probably won't and i should just get WB Games on PS4 and stuff like Witcher and Mass Effect on PC.

            I kept mine got it cheap online so figured what the hell did the same for MK X after that cluster fuck i'm glad i never paid full price for both games. Should be interesting what they do March 3rd for save the date sounds like another Batman game as much as i would love another i would prefer a Green Arrow or something else.

            I would say that AK is a good game, but it's the full game, not including the DLC, isn't worth full price in terms of content. Like you said, the race tracks are annoying as hell, and the lack of boss fights is serious downner. I played the DLC, so I don't know if they're good.

            Arkham Knight is a masterpiece(ending sucked but that's it)

            I quite enjoy his black and white outfit in that game. Great hairstyle, shadowy eyes, etc. The teeth and nose are a bit cartoonish and huge, but I blame that on the generally thuggish art style of the games.

            Would love a more realistic looking Batman game in the future.

            Visually, the Arkham Origins Joker and Heath Ledger's are at the top of the ladder for me.

        are the cut scenes on youtube worth watching to get the story of arkham origins? everyone ive talked to have said the game is way under rated and ive yet to be able to play it.

    did anyone else expect to see a picture of the Joker in the BATMOBILE at the drive thru? that would have been HILARIOUS! joker steals the batmobile then proceeds to get mcdonalds like it aint' shit. lmfao what could have been!

      It actually was the other way around. Since Harley mentioned they were having date night when Batman showed up chasing them, this would have been before that, while they were having date night. Then Batman would show up.

    Would really like to see Leto's Joker against Affleck's Batman, hope we get it soon.

    Also, it would be cool if they somehow showed all the cut parts through some format, a documentary of sorts or whatever. Some of them look really interesting! Pity they got cut

    And somehow they landed on that joker in the final cut? I know Warner likes to allow the artist (the director) to work their vision but why'd they let Ayer do this to the joker?

    wow, this joker concept art is really cool. No tattoos and in most of the drawings he has eyebrows, buttoned up shirts and no grill. it's a shame that the final product looked like garbage.

    Let your Direcrors do what they have in mind. These few minutes more - I think would be awesome.

    Now we understand why Jerad was upset. There are so many more scenes with him that you could get a Joker movie. I think it was not just concept art.

    Damn if this concept art rings true to the original script outlines then holy hell they cut a lot of Joker out. Would've loved to have a scene of Batman and Joker literally hanging out at a burger joint.

    Like with the 20+ year history, Joker killing Robin, death of Superman Batman pushing his moral code. An adult talk between them two where batman didn't lock him up of assault Joker and Joker not trying to kill people just a one to one before the world changes again with the arrival of Steppen Wolf and the Justice League.

    Them two just kinda hanging out because they've done this so many times before now and their both getting tired. This would've been such a great after credits to set up the future Batman films regardless if joker was in them or not.

    I know its never ever gonna happen but I hope one day we get the Ayer cut of SS.

    Holy shit how can you scrap THESE scenes from any movie ?? Ayer is such a fucking hack. Now I really, really hate that man more then ever. a freaking Batman and Joker scene ! Joker in the fucking Batmobile ! Are you kidding me, Ayer?!

    The drive thru scene reminds me of one of my most fav Joker stories of all time, "Joyride" where Joker kidnaps Robin (Tim) and drives around town with him in his car, driving over people (and even reporting it to the police lol) and eventually they stop at a drive thru where Joker just flat out shoots the guy at the counter in the face because he was unhappy with his fries xD

    Also why does the Joker in these concept arts looks SO MUCH better then Juggalo Joker in the movie ? On these concept arts he looks perfect, exactly what Joker should look like.

    "Another glimpse at what could have been"

    That should be the fucking tagline for this movie. How come there is so much awesomness and every fans dream come true in these concept arts and then the final movie is the exact opposite ?!

    Just fuck you Ayer. Fuck you sideways.

    And now that asshat is doing Gotham Sirens ? Great, another "what could have been" movie with concept arts that will be the actual movie we should have gotten
