on Mattel reveals 'Wonder Woman' toys based on the movie

The New York Toy Fair kicks off next week, and Mattel has given Entertainment Weekly a sneak peek at their upcoming Wonder Woman movie toy line.

There's everything from Wonder Woman dolls, to weapons like a sword and bow and arrow. The dolls will retail anywhere from $15 to $30, while the weapons will cost about $20. Take a look at them in the gallery below, and head on over to EW for more details.

Last year, Mattel released special Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman Barbie dolls in honor of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. I'd expect them to do the same this year too, though they haven't been announced yet.

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2nd.

    WTH is this rumor that Ben Affleck wants to get out of his contract playing Bruce Wayne/Batman?

      It comes from John Campea of Collider Movie Talk. He heard it from 3 separate people at Warner Brothers. He also said to take it with a tiny pinch of salt because the last 3 times he's heard rumors from his sources they all turned out to be dead wrong.

        I think he said take it with HUGE grain of salt. He also said not for anyone to run with it because it's just a rumor. But yeah everyone went crazy with it of course lol

          I like John Campea, but he's better suited as a news personality, not as a credible journalist.

            I honestly can't tell the difference anymore. Do we actually have any credible journalists left for this genre. Seems like they care more about pulling rumors out of their asses than reporting real news. They all might as well work for tmz because that's all I see with the majority of websites covering this genre.

            I mean he stated as much when he said it. He's not in the scoop game. Doesn't do that stuff and he leaves that up to the professionals. He said all of that and told people not to run with it as a story.

            He was just saying this was what he heard from some people in the know. It's really just everyone else hungry for clicks and big news.

            The man knew what he was doing. I know he's big DCEU supporter, but he knew that folks were gonna go crazy over this.

            But if that is the case, why would he even bother mentioning this on Collider, knowing full well every comic book website would run with it?

            I guess it's not bothersome that sites are running with it, but just the sensationalism surrounding it, as if this is some full blown story. When it was basically just 2 sentences worth of what he heard. There has been other times when people on Collider have talked about what they've heard from friends about things in the industry that haven't gotten this kind of traction.

            But I guess it's a whole other kind of horse when it comes to Ben Affleck/DCEU.

            It's a curse that the DCEU has to live with now. Even if the next five films are critical successes, folks will still go crazy if a negative rumor surfaces up.

            Yea, but I also think of it as Ben is the biggest star of the DCEU so him leaving is pretty big. Like I'm sure if Robert Downey Jr was leaving the Marvel movies people would be going just as crazy.

            I think the only thing the DCEU can do now is put out great stuff so the conversation is positive and when something potentially negative does happen it doesn't hurt their image as a whole. They have to get past this period.

            Not true? Go and read anything written by Matt Goldberg. He insults Zack Snyder in any DC related article even if the article isn't about him. After that he just trash the movies and refuses to see anything good coming from interviews, trailers, etc

      I wouldn't blame him. He is probably aware that Justice League is a mess, WW is a mess, he left directing, and now they threw away his script. All rumors of course, but not good ones, and where ther is smoke there is fire.

      Wonder Woman breaks new ground, again.
      Good for WB/DC, i want to see them stick to it.
      Oh and now Marvel is so worried about bringing Captain Marvel to MCU...with a 10 year advantage, hilarious.

            Black Widow despite being a supporting member of The Avengers is one of the most complex characters there, and they've hinted at a very interesting back story. They could make a great movie for her.

            And I'd definitely say she's more important than Hawkeye.

            I know... sounds interesting, but complex background or not, saddly she's a supporting character. She has not the relevance of a character like Wonder Woman, is understandable why there is not a movie about her...

          I believe this would be an excellent jumping-off point to get a Black Widow movie going. Her movie should be right up there with Bond and Bourne (but maybe a little more intelligent, in my opinion).

        Fox is to be blamed too, as some of the most recognizable Marvel heroines are over there. Just team them up... I truly hope that Cap Marvel, Sirens and WW can make a change, as we are missing out on quality content.

        The lack of a mid-budget Black Widow spy flick is indeed disgraceful. Just look at the money Lucy made. Their TV division though is doing the genre diversity thing right. Too bad that AoS and Carter S02 are so mediocre.

          Exactly. It's not going to be an expensive intergalactic CGI fest. It would be be most grounded MCU movie so far, but despite these facts it desperately deserves to be made.

          I think it may be too late though, she's been doing this character for a long time, the phase is nearly over and there's no talks of any development of the movie.

    I wonder if they will release Hot Wheels for this movie I know they did for BvS.

    Hot Wheels are the only toys from my childhood I still have and still purchase sometimes.

    I'm surprised that the shield wasn't in those pics; maybe they haven't finished the prototype yet or EW just didn't include it. I am sure they will sell the shield as well as the sword (and maybe even a lasso?)

    Also, I predict that that Nerf-dart shooting bow will be the hottest thing going for office cubicle wars this summer.
