GamesRadar, the company behind Total Film magazine, just published a new feature titled "The 24 best upcoming movies of 2017". Obviously Justice League is included on that list, and so is a new image from the movie!
We get a cool new look at Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg getting ready for a fight. But where's Batman?! It looks like the team is on a Kryptonian ship. Perhaps they're searching for Superman.
Justice League hits theaters on November 17th.

But that's similar to his film look, minus the hook and unique shouder armor.
And minus colors, and minus that his look in the movie is an one piece armor that doesn't stand out at all. If that's what the king wears, imagine his soldiers...
For all we know, that may just be traditional Atlantean armor.
Love the shell-based shoulder armor. Never been a fan of the hook-hand.
Captain America and Superman got awesome redesigns that still look like their classic counter parts. Same can be done with Aquaman.
They had to tone down the colors for Cap though.
Kind of but he still looks like Captain America. You can dull the orange down to but at least try to honor his famous look.
As much as I would love to see that, it's won't work in live action without looking cheesy and silly. I like the Momoa look. It's a better live-action look and it makes Aquaman look more badass and less tweeny.

No, I don't "just defend things" for the sake of it. These guys are professionals and they know what will work and what won't. Even in the Injustice game they altered it to be more armor-like. If they do go with another look in the movie it'll probably be closer to the injustice look (which the current costume is very close to already). For all we know he may get a different costume for his solo. Something closer to this:

The CGI suit should have been banned after Green Lantern. The only CGI part should be his main arm with his weapons. He reminds me of Dr. Doom from Fant4stic: ball of metallic mush.

What was wrong with the suit in Green Lantern? Seriously, given that it was supposed to be a ring construct (and therefore not clothing material), why is the fact that it was CGI an issue?

I think this movie is going to be the cheesiest to come out for a long time . All you have to do is look at the costumes to know this is going to be trash .

I'll admit, they did it well enough that when Bruce was beating his face off I didn't stop to think that it was all makeup. But I did notice his mouth forming the extended Joker grin.

That is just utter perfection, I'm so pumped for this movie and Wonder Woman I hope DC crushes it this year so all these dumb ass critics and fans can shut up I love the DCEU I know there's been some problems and not everything has been perfect but I don't believe a reboot is necessary the casting has been superb if WB can stop getting in the way and try to tell the best possible stories for these characters , which shouldn't be a problem there's so much good stories to choose from the comics. The action has been top notch the visuals are gorgeous lets add some great stories and make great movies so we can all be satisfied. IMO DCEU has had more smovies that has made more impact in its universe my only issue was SS was a missed opportunity could have been and should have been a lot better that being said bring the trailer on I'm tired of waiting

I honestly don't understand why people have a problem with Cyborg's look. He looks perfectly fine to me. He's obviously going to be mainly CGI as there's no way to have him bring out all the fancy gadgets he comes up with without it.

Do they? Mad Max: Fury Road has a lot of cgi shots, and people love that movie and it's effects. Gravity as well, as well as Inception, or Interstellar or the new Apes franchise.
Those are just a small fraction of them. Other cgi which are actually good are satanized.
Care to give examples? Because if not, then your argument is really void of any substance whatsoever.
Mos, bvs, ss, ant man, x men apocalypse and others.
MoS had scenes where the cgi was blatant, super fake and video-gamey... BvS the exact same (Doomsday, never forget, also the fight at the end, was absolutely fake looking, including the fake ass smoke, and the fake ass rubber Superman flying around), Suicide Squad's cgi was laughable at times, c'mon! Ant Man had some creativity but wasn't quite up to par, especially given it's budget was significantly smaller than most blockbusters of it's genre.
Point is, you are talking about super hero movies with no real identity. There wasn't much work or thought put into them when you compare them to a Christopher Nolan movie, for example, where he tries to make everything he can practical, spends months planning with his team, and uses cgi to a minimal degree, which will make his movies age incredibly well.
MoS and BvS were made by Snyder, and even though he is a total zero at storytelling and character developing, he does have an eye for visual effects, especially cgi. But god damn, MoS and BvS had some pretty fake cgi sequences that even on a first watch you can tell them immediately. Better than the average Super Hero blockbuster, but not anywhere near fail-proof.
The cgi is always going to fake. that doesn't make it bad. Mos, bvs, ant man and ss all had identity. They all had top visual effects. Not matter how much time you put into it, it's never going to look super realistic. You have standards for cgi that can't be reached. Snyder has fine great in storytelling, characer development and especially visuals. And you're talking about larger than life aspects in these. I highly doubt practical effects can be able to properly bring them life.

Kobayashi Maru is actually somewhat winnable. I don´t think that both films really nailed that part.
That page isolated from the rest of Kingdom Come (which is, pretty much, an old Superman trying to rein in a bunch of metahumans that behave like they are in a Zack Snyder movie) isn't exactly fair.
The influence of "Kingdom Come" on BvS is quite obvious. It's an elseworld but that "old Superman" is more "canonical" than many seen in the regular series.
With 17 mil. per movie. The margins aren´t that steep but i am more happy that both are great and unique.
Well good for them. I loved MoS more but Dr. Strange is one of the best MCU offeringgs so not surprised. Was my second favorite CBM from last year (after BvS) and I'm really happy it's doing well.

Great way to compare the 1st movie in a new franchise with the 14th movie in a franchise that's been around for a decade. Iron Man 1: $585.17million worldwide, MOS: $668.04million worldwide. First 3 DCEU Movies: $2.28billion worldwide. First 5 MCU Movies: $2.29billion worldwide. I think WB feels fine about this

Should have seen the past couple weeks when either a) multiple MCU fanboys took over and spewed literal crap everywhere or b) a single lone wolf MCU fanboy spewed crap everywhere with multiple accounts. I think there is still some residue…
1. The photo is super grainy and "gray-toned" ala Snyder. I was hoping he would get away from this as it was a critique point for BvS (the visuals were too grainy and "dark").
2. Cyborg has me bi-polar right now. Part of me wants to say he looks great, but I'd be lying to myself. I was hoping they'd go with keeping his arms skin, thus minimizing the CGI and also allowing Ray Fisher to actually act a little bit showing himself off (why go through the workouts!?). Maybe we'll see "augments" to him in the future movies where he has more skin?
3. Aquaman's suit is super dark. Would love to see that green flash a little more.
4. I think it's better they're giving us these little snapshots. I honestly don't want a trailer anymore, even though I've been screaming for one on here for months. They completely blew their load with BvS in two trailers. I'd rather just wait to see the first trailer around Wonder Woman, and then have them drop one more before it's released. Keep the details under wraps, and don't let us see them all together in the same action sequence until the movie. The fans will appreciate this much, much more.
That's true. Even though I want a trailer really really bad, I will probably have a lot less expectations going into the movie if they don't release one until later and with more ambiguity.

Him being a college-level footballer, before the accident, would explain why he needed to workout. Plus, I'd hazard a guess that even after he's turned they'd still need to use his pre-cyborg body, for a dream sequence or juxtaposition shots.

The ship is clearly in the air. Atlantean ones don´t usually do that, and the designs have a certain Kryptonian quality.

I am already looking forward to the discussions on how the Parademons are worse than the Ultimate Skrulls that randomly showed up in Avengers. Great film but the Chitauri were a mistake. The Mark Millar original version though was pretty good.
Even if it was a picture of Batman taking a huge dump on a gas station toilet, you'd say that, and you'd go on as to how that was such a well thought metaphor of how Batman is letting go of his troubled past because of the new hope that he found within himself, because of Superman's sacrifice.
